Thank you for your reaction. Just for information. If you look up the Swedish band, "ELEINE" you can see Victor's face. He is part of this band and very good looking. He has beautiful skin😄He and Dan makes lovely noises together.

Thank you for reacting to Dan Vasc again! I love your reactions because you explain everything so well. I suggest the "Africa" TOTO cover from Dan Vasc. Do you know that he has original music with his metal band here on TH-cam? His band's name is FEARLESS and their album is "Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom" It is intriguing melodic POWER metal with Dan's beautiful versatile strong voice! The right music to be picked apart by you. He loves to put in metal distorsions in his songs and he sounds so good.
The man has 5 vocal ranges (especially evident in baritone and tenor) plus key arrangements included, as usual.

Thanks for this reaction! Dave can sing this sort of thing like nobody's business, and almost always better than the original. Lots of energy and smiles. (You need to take a quick look at the comment he pinned on his page for this song.) I was never much of an 80s music fan, but I vaguely remember most of it. Now I find myself enthralled with Dan's Journey covers, of all things. Faithfully - GORGEOUS singing. Also Open Arms. I like his Toto covers too, especially Africa.

Really enjoy your reactions. Dan has a super 80's playlist. His "Journey " covers are beautiful, as are his "Toto" and "Aerosmith" covers. Although Dan is a Metalist at heart, he does an amazing performance of "Gethsemane " from "Jesus Christ Superstar" and also "Music of the Night" from "Phantom of the Opera". Thanks for doing such a thorough reaction to my favorite, Dan Vasc. If you watch him sing this and don't have a huge smile on your face, you are missing the party. Love everything Dan does. Love his Journey covers, especially Open Arms. I'd also like to suggest Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera (My favorite of the songs he’s done from this musical.) and Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar. Not only is Dan's voice perfection but his performances are amazing. He definitely could do Broadway.

My favourite Dan song to watch people react to (after they’ve done Amazing Grace) is “Burn Butcher Burn”. So fun.

Dan must have watched you perplexing that last high note, bc, in his newly released song, he starts the note before the guitar sings, plus the camera is on him. You'll see, if you get the chance to watch Celine Dione's song My Heart Will Go On. A coach/reactor said the note sounds like an E6 (in the new song). Oooh! Yes, that’s a good one too. I watched the original version yesterday and it blew me away how Dan was able to “chameleon” his voice to sound similar to the original singer, yet he still sounds like Dan. He does this in quite a few songs, I’ve noticed. Incredible amazing and interesting.

Jennifer! Hmm, 80's favorite song ... just way too many. It's like a bowl of strawberries (from Italy!) and they're all succulent and sweet and asking which berry was the best. Just not possible. Way too many great songs from the 80's (and 70's of course). So Dan Vasc ... I really liked the other two songs you covered. Let's see where this goes today. Wow, that was well done! Just enough grit to make his metal point but still leaves the song musical. I think Belinda Carlisle would approve. Hmm next song ... I see a comment below saying Dan does some Toto covers! Great music, great songwriting by Rick Nowels and Ellen Shipley! The song sounds fresh, even more than 35 years later. And as already the original version has the stopped distorted guitars, it does not need much to turn it into metal version. However, for me it will always be Belinda and the aching and crying tone of her voice that will be forever unmatched. My favorite 80ies Album is Belinda’s “Runaway Horses” from 1989. Every song a banger, such as “Leave a light on“ (also Nowels/Shipley), „La Luna“, „Summer Rain“…
True, but I beg to differ about the difficulty part. Dan is voice King , bc, well, Dan. But, like Jen & ReevesLive points out, Dan masters the clean vocals as well as the distorted gravel grit Metal vocals, even within one song like this one.
You should react to "Burn butcher burn" or "Bring me to life" from him. Both are out of this world!

If you love 80s, there was an awesome band called WASP who had an awesome song called Wild Child which is worth checking out. But have you heard of a present power metal band called Battle Beast? They are awesome with a lot of great songs of their own, but they also did a cover of Wild Child, and it's just awesome, a must listen to.
