A special young man. I never thought I would be listening to metal music at the age of 66. Then he came in! I never thought there would be someone I could "support" after Bon Jovi! Super talent given by God! I read somewhere that it was mocked that he has many fans from the older age group! Try Adeste Fideles, (sung in Latin) please, Angels heard on high, starting in Italian, then German, then Portuguese, with 65 layers of his own voice, then finally in English. The chorus is done in Latin. Nessun Dorma shows his operatic skills and Oh Holy Night he will shock you speechless.

I've been saying that to myself since shortly after the first time I heard Dan (which was nine days after he posted this song). I think he and Lucy could do a TON of songs together! He has done videos on Phantom of the Opera, Oh Holy Night, and a few other Opera type of songs, he has also done Rock songs, Religious, but his favourite genre is Metal. He has also done Burn Butcher Burn, Toss Coins to the Witcher, and song of the White Wolf, songs from the Witcher Series on Netflix...He has songs from the Lord of the Rings and a few Viking type songs and he has also sung the title song of the movie Titanic. He can sing anything and make it sound like its the first time it's been sung. He has a bass/baritone to male soprano ranges in his voice. He is God's gift to our world.
People are always shocked by this one, but I don't understand why. It seems to me, if you're going to sing a hymn, you'd better sing it like you mean it. If that's the criteria, Metal singers are the first group that pops into my mind. It's not as unusual a pairing as people seem to think. His performance was excellent, and that was some pretty amazing breath control at the end. And I think his range goes further than this song showcases. The first verse he was hanging on an F2 I think, but it sounds like he was reaching a bit for the low notes (I'm sure he can go lower, but you can tell it's not his normal register). By the third verse, he's up around an F4, and that sounds more like his natural register. If he has two octaves below his norm, he has at least 2, more likely 3 above. The only other song I've heard from him so far was a cover of Bruce Dickinson's "Tears of the Dragon", and that's not especially rangey, so I'll need to listen to more, but I think he's got 5 octaves and then some. Some sharp fry, excellent breath work, the aforementioned range, a good mix of true and false vibrato... He can sing anything he damn well pleases and it will be good. His voice reminds me of a younger Zach Stevens (Savatage / Circle II Circle / Trans-Siberian Orchestra). I'd be interested to hear him cover one of those songs. Maybe "Edge of Thorns"... great song but I always felt it needed a little extra something that was missing, and I bet Mr. Vasc could find it.

Hi Lucie, This is Dans best song I heard by far he has a song from jesus christ super star that he covered Gethsemane . Everybody was going crazy for it saying it was so good. I listened to it, It was powerful and all that but it was very negative and portrayed jesus as a whinny baby not wanting to go to the cross. I sent it to my niece who is very religous to see what she thinks as a bible thumper. After I sent it I thought Im gonna send her a follow up video song of Angelina jordan's Hero cuz Dan's Gethsemane was such a downer angelina would pick her back up. She texted me back and said she really needed that Angelina song after that Gethsemane song cuz it was so negative . It was like Angelina was talking to Jesus saying come on put the big boy pants on and man up will ya.
