Great come back scheme no Orings or showing deck surfaces, Those rockers also get impacted too. I figured " Bulletproof" wouldve mentioned that but I think that is outside that shade tree warranty
If it werent for you guys i would have had a blown up 6.0 my egr failed i placed a order with a panic 2 day shipping they ended up calling a hour later saying no need for 2 day we will ship it you for free in 2 days guaranteed they didnt even charge me now im debating getting the studs and gasket watching this video made me confident with my truck and knowing how everything connects and works :)
We do resurface the heads, and then provide new valve guides and hardened valve seats. Then we drill and sleeve the injector bores to protect against fuel seep into the coolant pathway. After this, stock injectors can still be used. We do not o-ring the heads, as we have found it's not needed.
@@BulletProofDiesel At what level of boost do o-rings become necessary? I understand stock applications probably don't benefit from it, but when power adders are installed when do you start upgrading internal components? Thanks.
@@zuggyrama Because our focus is really reliability and longevity, not so much the performance side, we really have not had any experience with the "o-ring" heads. In our experience the internal engine components are quite tough, but upgrades may be necessary, is tuning away from stock calibration.
The bottom end of the 6.0 powerstroke is extremely tough, capable of handling 800rwhp. Bill Hewitt with Powerstrokehelp does O-ringing the heads. Its not necessary but does provide 0 chance of headmaster failure. My heads are o-ringed
