Great product. I was an avid backpacker, climber, etc and I would have carried that for a portable shower in the mountains. I can see this for countries in Southeast Asia. Africa, etc.
I don't think you were an avid backpacker, climber, etc. You wouldn't use precious water to take a shower in the mountain. You would know how much water is needed a day for a man doing exercise, it doesn't give you any margin for a shower with the water you are carrying.
I know the lad in this one since we were kids, he's a nice person, and has actually set up festivals, I can't believe he didn't go there. Having said that, you'd have to sell millions to make even a small profit.
Even if it was successful at festivals it wouldn’t be enough for a dragon to ever make their money back let alone a profit. He would have to sell millions of them
I think the bigger market would be people out on picnics, patio parties, outdoor chefs, fishermen - especially salt water ones. If they're so worried about cross contamination, set a container of hand sanitizer next to it.
I don't know anyone who wipes their bum with two hands. If they just instructed people to use their other hand, that should take care of the contamination issue.
You could even just put some sanitiser into the water and you'd be good to go, since the device would disinfect itself when used. After all, it's not meant to be drunk...
Cross Contamination is a difficult issue - I fell out with a police officer at a Covid checkpoint here in Ireland during the first lockdown in 2020 - I was sitting in a line of cars and the officer on the checkpoint was checking the documents of the drivers ahead of me - he was wearing medical gloves and taking each drivers documents - checking them and then handed them back - when it came my turn I put my licence up against the glass but he wanted me to hand it to him - I said - "but you've just handled the documents of several other drivers wearing the same pair of gloves - and now you want to possibly contaminate mine - can't you see how pointless that is if we are concerned about spreading infection....?" - he wasn't too pleased....!

Regular tap: Touch handle with contaminated hand. Wash hands. Turn tap off, recontaminating your hands This invention: Contaminate by squeezing. Wash your hands with provided water from squeeze. And that's it, you're not touching it again and recontaminating your hands. So unless we're talking about touchless faucets, isn't this cleaner?
yeah im surprised no one mentioned this. because like all other ways to get water they have to be touched, but very few of them requires less than being touched twice.
I don't really understand the hygiene issue with it. Yes, there will be bateria on this tap like any other. The important thing is, after touching it, you wash your hands, meaning that anything that got on you when you touched it will be washed off.
