When Duncan said "Take Deborah's money and run because she won't catch you "... Classic Duncan Bannatyne 🤣🤣🤣
“Kelly might” 😂
Nothing better than when you sit down for dinner and Dragons Den uploads a clip you've not seen.
It’s great isn’t it! I’m addicted. 😂 It’s frustrating when it’s the same old ones that keep reappearing. This one is old though but haven’t seen it before.

Duncan Bannatyne's face in reaction to Deborah Meaden's comment. Hilarious!!!
These mats are used all over Spain 🇪🇸 people use them in their cars along the window. They protect against sunlight and excess heat.
same here in Australia
I literally thought that's what she was selling lmbo!!!
Not HER mats, they have been replicated all over the world, even here in Japan.
Same in Venezuela, otherwise, the dashboard will simply cook itself up over time and become easily breakable, just like when something turns toasty.
Does anybody remember the Alf sun shades?
So basically she invented a windscreen frost cover with a strap. Genius.

Seriously, this episode was absolutely Duncan on his prime performance cutting through the BSs, specially the ones from Deborah. 8:48 was probably one of the funniest most relatable reactions I've seen in the Den.
Begging the production company to find an episode where a lady had an ironing board invention that was beyond ridiculous. I can't remember what host said it but their final word was "you've un-invented the ironing board". Funniest episode ever.
Peter Jones calling an entrepreneur on the show a 'numpty' is prolly one of the funniest things ive seen on the show.

Duncan is 100% right. It will only be her bootcamps that will need a product like this. Her bootcamp created the issue, and her product solved it.
I sometimes think Duncan is too harsh but in this pitch he is definitely right
In the US they're called Car Visors. $.58 each for the special black/reflective style, if you buy 2,000 of them. smh AND rme
To this day, Evan Davis still walks around that empty warehouse even when Dragons' Den isn't being filmed, talking to an imaginary audience. Sometimes he isn't even fully dressed and tears well up when he runs out of puns, in such incidents he runs around the building outside screaming and kicking any objects in his way, before getting back his calm composure and heading back inside to start another walk around the ground floor talking to his imaginary audience. In time, Evan will realise the crew have gone and will call for a taxi to take him home.
Cut to Evan: "Adam has posted a comment on TH-cam. The comment was about an imaginary scenario where a presenter who repeats things you just heard walks around an empty warehouse. Lets see what replies he gets from other people who also read it"
This cracked me up
This is literary gold!
Sounds like theres definitely moments where he is unusually quiet
Send Evan Davis to Lord Sugar and The Apprentice. Plenty of Black Cabs there for him after the Boardroom.
First time I remember Kelly making an offer
she's usually there to warm up the chair and say "it's not one for me"
2nd time for me. Forgot what the other one is.
This is ingenious! I can't count how many times I've gone to do pushups in the dog park and ended up with dog mess on my hands
Now I just tie it around my waist and leave the dog mess stains go onto my clothes 🤦♂️
I never check for dogshit before putting my hands on the ground, so I agree!

Lmao the lady wanted to sell a windscreen cover for 25£ 💀
Terrible idea. Imagine laying that reflective surface on the ground on a sunny day. You’ll go blind. It was reflecting the studio lights.
Put it back in your car window lady.
It’s not a terrible idea
I cant believe she got offers...its a ridiculous product
Look she’s successful than anyone so back off I’ve known her since I was 0 years old she’s family
I'm with Duncan and Peter. I think I missed something here. She's doing well enough on her boot camp stuff and doesn't need to give away 40% of that. The running mat thing seems like a bad invention which the dragons will convince her to bin off. They'll be left with a hefty share of her existing business and no need to add anything to it.
Another great upload, thank you again Dragon's Den!
It's a small version of the car windscreen sun shades we use here in Australia that cost $10.
it looks like a smaller version of a sun shade for your car!
I really like the product. I would buy one for day hikes- just for something to sit on when stopping for a break. I don't usually carry mats around because I really don't need a full sized mat, but do want something waterproof compact and light.
For the beach, or even a compact picnic mat to put food/drink onto too......
Yes but for £25?
@@Ron.S. ehh, Ive spent a lot more than that on crap I don't really need.. if I saw it in a shop for 25 I would buy it 😅

Peter calling her a numpty made me lol
Yea that was funny
What it means?
Numpty means someone who is hardworking, genius level IQ, trustworthy and reliable.
I have developed something similar: the fire extinguishing mat. It’s a mar that extinguishes your kitchen fire but it’s not attached to your kitchen wall but to your body! That’s right!
Why did I think Duncan’s last name was “Valentine” this entire time 😆
Funny thing is that people actually type that in google search
Duncan Valentine sounds like a villain's name.
I thought it was Ballantyne 😂
Did Piers Linney actually ever invest in anything LOL, he gives Jenny a run for her money.

That's amazing it looks like a car sun shade lol never saw that coming
Everybody goes on and on about Jenny, but she secured more deals than Kelly and Piers combined. In her first series, Jenny made more deals than any other dragon beside her. The only Dragon with a higher average number of investments per series than Jenny, is Tej. The bottom 4 dragons are Simon, Doug, and Piers, with Kelly, Sarah, and Rachel tied for 4th-worst.
Interesting.
This may all be totally correct but that’s not why the Jenny meme started. It was the endless string of pitches where she’d say something along the lines of “this is a great product and you’re very investable, but it’s not quite right for me so I’m out”, or she’d blatantly copy one of the other dragons reasons for being out, just constantly made the audience think why is she even here? And some of the stuff she did invest in like that leaking coffee flask, complete rubbish that none of the others wanted. Further adding to the impression that she wasn’t contributing much to the show at all
dat you jen?
@@JoshF848 sorry this is a great product but it doesn’t quite fit in my portfolio
but do her deals pan out?
Does she make more profit out of em, compared to the other Dragons and their lower investment enthousiasm?
Peter Jones and Duncan Bannatyne were very rude talking over her and namecalling.
Duncan and especially Peter were unbelievabley rude.
Well Duncan was spot on. Company dissolved.
What happened?
All her company's dissolved , she's a really lovely woman in real life
Duncan rolling eyes : classic
Oh, yes! I saw him in Macbeth. He rolled his eyes a lot in that too.
He´s in danger of being typecast.

I feel this will feel like a belt around my waist, and when I do fitness, I don’t like restrictive wear. All fitness clothes don’t come with belt loops because belts are restrictive and uncomfortable while working out. Also most people just put their bag to the side of them or choose to only run that day. I don’t many who do both on the same moment.
It looks just like a sun visor for a car windshield just like we have here in America. They cost half that. About $15 or less.
Same here in Australia
Same in many countries
That's exactly what it is. Also, try cleaning that..... it's rediculous
The product is absolute rubbish but this is a clear cut case of "fools and their money are easily parted'.

She handled it very well, dignified and composed in the face of criticism
Both the mat business and her boot camp business wound up in 2017. It doesn't look like the investment ever happened.
Her company for the running mat was dissolved in 2017.
Yeah, i'm shocked..
not bad considering she ripped off the car windscreen sunshade and just put it in a bag
She wouldn’t do a thing like that I know her since I was a baby and before I had a sibling

I can't believe she got a deal for a product that looks like a car window screen shade.
Her bootcamp business was incorporated 24th Jan 2013, the running mat business was incorporated on 12th Feb 2013 so not even a month later 😂 They really did see through the bull. Both companies now dissolved.
8:50 🙄 Dunkin 😂😂😂
I bought a couple of these. They're a good product and were exactly what I needed for doing run/exercise sessions. Duncan just doesn't want people to exercise anywhere but inside gyms and these make it easier for people to workout outside
I don’t see the problem with getting your hands dirty or clothes 😂😂😂
Well done YOU!, for noticing that someone with a particular reason for making a decision, made that decision in support of the business he has reason to support. Did you understand that, or are you lost?.

The thing is just a car sun shield which is why I assume he said it can't be patented. Without a patent an investment is too risky.
Can we create a button to just fast forward 45 seconds?
So, when the two ladies want both the businesses included in the offer that’s OK, nobody in here complains. If Peter does it, he’s greedy…
When they insist on 40% that’s reasonable. When Peter does it - oh he’s horrible!
When Duncan walks away from a deal that has a product that might be in competition with his, no comment about that - he’s great. If Peter does it , he’s jealous, he’s upset, look at his face…
I don’t get it from over here across the pond - why is Peter Jones everybody’s whipping boy? He’s the best Dragon, he’s the richest Dragon, he’s the longest lasting Dragon, and he even gives a fair shake to those people in the Shark Tank. He’s quite amazing, actually.
Duncan nailed it. She created the product for her bootcamp
That is the same product that have a sun protector front glass car view is exactly same
Isn't that just one of those reflective visors you put up on your windshield to stop your car from getting too hot?

ex personal trainer here - this idea is terrible. I just either: train on grass, or bring a mat in a rucksack. Moronic.
So I get the idea of doing a circuit style workout where you start at point A and run to point B doing workouts at each station. I can see why a portable mat would make sense. But hers looks like a car shade and I don’t see how anyone in their right mind would spend 25 on that. I also don’t k ow why Peter and Duncan are being so mean. Is it a pointless invention? Yeah. But still She was pretty composed and polite and Peter calling her a numpty or whatever that is I think was insensitive and purposely mean. 🤨

this was the first one I saw Kelly Hopkins invest in
Well actually she didn't. The deal fell through after the show.
