    Thanks Dr. Pal and Dr. Rashmi for this podcast. Dr. Pal - this is my personal thought. Most of the things discussed in this interview is on high end treatments for maintaining your skin (like the Botox etc). Its insightful for people you can afford or opt for it, but people living in non metro cities or small cities or who cant afford such treatments - it could have been also good in the podcast to discuss on how to maintain your skin organically at home and with simple affordable treatments and also for people who do not want any procedure or go organic. Thank you.

    Thank you Dr. Pal , lot of truth revealing and a great discussion which if of big help to my 21 year old daughter who talks about all the peptides, niacinamides, retinol. Personal experience I have seen a tremendous change in my skin with a consistent day and night routine. I was an ugly duckling if I can say so with acne that's what I used to feel back then, confidence shattered and now lot of my friends say I am reverse aging. I owe this to my daughter for introducing me to skin care and telling me to stop using the commercial or over the counter products. Great learning and adds to what I know. Keep it going. God bless you

    Key things which i would like to highlight here is to have your food after sunrise and before sun set , sleep after 3 hrs of dinner, sleep for 7 hours , drink 2 to 3 ltrs of water , relax ur body and mind , do meditation or exercise and have a balanced diet . Do them consistently and in the same time lapse .

    Our understanding was that UV plays the key role in converting the protein (or some chemical) beneath our skin into Vit-D. If thats true, then will not the sunscreen, that prevents UV, prevent Vit-D preparation by our internal system. Already vit-d deficiency is so rampant in India esp with ladies that more than 70% older age group ladies need vit-d suppliment. Need more clarity on this one.

    • @khushh.eeeeee
      @khushh.eeeeee 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      Yes it's true. But sunscreen doesn't prevent 100% of UV rays. It depends on the SPF which is maximum 60-70 .
      So we need not to worry.
      (Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong)

    • @adityar3372
      @adityar3372 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      Its well explained in the video itself. And prescribing vit d for elder women is not for vitd deficiency, its to improve absorption of calcium which prevents or reduces osteoporosis.

    • @ha-pb6gs
      @ha-pb6gs 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@khushh.eeeeee Don't you think that, when 60-70percent is prevented, it will eventually to 70 percent deficiency of vitamin-d. And that's a lot, when people already get exposed to less sunlight.

    • @dr.shadmbbsdphmasco
      @dr.shadmbbsdphmasco 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sunscreens won't prevent 100% of the UV exposure and I would like to tell u something even though UV rays converts the 7 Dehydro cholestrol into Cholecalciferol via photolysis and dark skinned people have more melanin and it acts as a barrier or blockage for this reaction from occurring. So wearing sunscreens is must

    • @dr.shadmbbsdphmasco
      @dr.shadmbbsdphmasco 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@adityar3372just prescribing vit D supplement alone won't help coz Vit D3 helps in intestinal Absorption of Calcium but it's Actually Vit K2 who acts a guide for calcium to reach its destination

    Her practice in Hyderabad, Reva has incompetent doctors whose job is to prescribe you truckloads of expensive products which you have to buy from their clinic shop, and sometimes they charge more than the MRP. I was prescribed a 1500 RS facewash, and the doctor behaved as if nothing else would work except THAT facewash. So yes ma'am sometime we do have to do our "research", the word you hate so much so that doctors like you don't fool us out of our money and time.

    So much love to both of you for such an informative podcast.❤ But I do have a feedback to share regarding the editing, it feels scary when the podcast starts. I remember I felt same in the last one I saw with Sangeetha Aiyer. These podcasts are so informative and helpful but when I get into it with those sound effects, I feel like this is too dense and I see resistance in myself from even watching it as if it is some dark episode which it isn't.

      @@DrPal this doctor rashmi shetty just did a sham md dermat degree from cps mumbai which now isnt even recognised by Nmc. Cps doesnt even require u to qualify neet post graduate entrance exam. U can literally buy a seat without even giving an entrance exam.Also if u google her name until 2014 she advertised herself as aesthetic physician and now she calls herself a dermatologist. I feel she literally purchased her md degree from cps just for that dermatology tag without even attending classes or passing exams. Dr pal atleast do proper due diligence and research about whom r u bringing on ur podcast

    Morning sun rays at 8am will not damage skin. Secondly you need to heal your organs and your emotional self for which you dont want to block the sun with sunscreen especially if you get very limited exposure daily

      Instead of using hyaluronic acid, just use glycerine based product. Glycerine alone is very hydrating unlike HA that draws water from the surroundings HA alone is not powerful as moisturizer

    • @Nishabarbie-m1h
      @Nishabarbie-m1h 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes totally agree with your point . . Glycerine is far better in terms of hydration and a moisturizer need to be topped on hyaluronic acid to lock the moisture which is again a lot of steps @@s.shaooo1676
