The most important part to notice about Dr Pal sir is that how he is listening to this neurosurgeon like a 1 st year MBBS...
And that is what makes him the best...
      Reason???
Dr Pal has done MD MEDICINE before doing DM...he knows everything about stroke, but still listening to him like a student..
      Respect ❤❤❤

now we are recoverimg slowly by following healthy diet and exercise ..

I have food with less spice, no raw red chili and having kefir, sauerkraut, homemade yogurt, any fermented food seems to help me. I have severe gastritis and I finish my dinner at 4:15 pm and have my first meal is at 10 am. Most of the item I will have vegetables mixed with dhal called koottu with yogurt. I will have fruits with less acid like papaya, guava, semi ripe banana and cantaloupe varieties. I also add a spoon of organic pure coconut oil or ghee. Following these steps helps me big time. I have not had any gastritis issues over the last three years. Hope this helps!!

I too have gastric problems taking naxpro40RT from last 15 days..Thanks for sharing about meals quality..pl let me know if barley Dalia is good for such problems...I still have pain and little burning in navel and urine and feel weak

    • @lalithaganesan3372
      @lalithaganesan3372 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@aatpirt whenever I took proton pump inhibitors like Prilosec I seem to have back pain near the kidneys. I stopped it few years ago. Following the above food style seems to help. Also taking 2% milk fat seems to help. Whenever I have severe gastritis symptoms I take bland food for a week with no spice , just salt and jeera for seasoning with pure coconut oil. Some fat seems to help me. With food we can control. Once you bring it under control you can have Cheat meal every now and then. Red chilli powder, tomato ketchup, sour tomatoes and ripe bananas are my enemies. You need to figure out what irritates your stomach. Hope it helps and you feel better soon!!
Please consult a gastroenterologist. For different people different food will trigger the pain. You need to see.

Make sure the below tips for getting soft Idlis
      1. Ratio , 4 glass rice : 1 glass whole urad Dal
      2. Grinding part, specifically grind in wet grinder, otherwise make sure shouldn't heat the flour during grinding... And very little rava texture for Idli and Dosa...
      3. After grinding,Mixing of urad Dal and rice flour , it's shouldn't be too thick (Before Fermentation)
      4. Proper fermentation
      5. Make sure bit thick batter for Idli and bit thin for Dosa...(After fermentation batter become bit thicker)

    I am 35.
I used to have slight chest pains around midnight while sleeping.I thought i had chest muscle pain. One day i decided to go the doctor. My blood pressure turn out to be 162/95.
I felt quite stressed at that time. The doctor said to go and get tested for diabetes,2D echo test and ecg- all of them were normal.
I just joined a gym. Reduced my weight by 15 kgs. Started doing fasting and ate in moderation. The blood pressure has come down to under 130. Although I haven’t been able to reach 120. But still it can be reversed if you are careful about what you eat.
I think getting checked for hypertension and diabetes is something people should never ignore.

He only ate one thing at a time. For breakfast he either had boiled egg or carrots. For lunch he mostly went for chicken or a fish. And his dinner was always boiled veggies. He also used to have alot of seasonal fruits between dinner and lunch. He said when he mixed things he felt uncomfortable and feels bloated and feels sleepy. Is their a science behind it?

    A summary and a few questions to Dr.Pal and Dr.Arvind :
We are able to understand the following from the podcasts we are listening to :
    - sleep is important for the glymphatic system for memory, cognition and mood. Time shift is an app to plan ahead for jet lag. Magnesium and inositol helps. Melatonin is helpful for short term use.
    - Diet : we need our daily need of protein plus more for perimenopausal women, we need 35 gms of fiber, some complex carbs. reduce sugar, fried and processed.
    - Exercise : we need cardio and strength training to support bone health. Cardio is better managed by HRV and zones.
    - Devices : A calibrated BP machine is important, HRV monitor at the chest may be helpful.
    - Being close to a good hospital is important : in this case a stroke certified or at least a stroke ready one.
    - Symptoms : FAST : face , arms, speech, time.
    - Avoid : long inactive periods, smoking, drinking
    - Learn - managing stress.
1.Can we talk more on HRT - I've been following the menopause movement in the US talking about estrogen's role in preventing cardiac problems, mental health problems (specifically the Nature paper by Dr. Lisa Mosconi has been groundbreaking) and bone health. Why are some doctors against HRT and some are rallying behind how HRT is essential and is the most misinformed topic.
    2. Can we talk more about how stroke can be different for women in pre menopause vs menopause.
    3. A little more about silent strokes, please : I was breastfeeding, jet lagged, had a traumatic incident and losing several days of sleep when my cognition went down 8 months back and I lost weight and found it hard to follow conversations. I was given antidepressants which I stopped in 2 weeks, then antipsychotics which I refused , then antihistamine which I took for a few days. All these prescriptions and diagnosis like bipolar(which I am learning is misdiagnosed a lot) was discussed very easily with 0 diagnostics to back it up. Finally, I got a sleep coach for my toddler, weaned from the hormonal effects of breastfeeding, and have been feeling progressively better after 8 months of improving diet, exercise, sleep habits, a little therapy and importantly, vit D. While this has been the strangest phase of life, where I questioned if it was worth it for my daughter to have a possibly mad mom, I'm glad I am where I am feeling what seems like recovery but still completely puzzled by what the root cause was for my incorrect thinking 8 months back. I am tracking hormones and my luteal phase symptoms like anxiety to understand if this is the reason. 8 months back I also had heart palpitations but my doc has said things like 'trust me' on the antidepressants which the psychiatrist asked me to stop and she has also said 'you are not going to find something big'. She does not seem to understand that prior to this event I was swimming, breastfeeding for 2 years and feeling healthy, let alone happy. I am trying to still understand what the hell made me 'mad' back then so I can be more prepared for the rest of parenthood. Part of me wonders if there was some neuro issue here and how to get it diagnosed through a GP who is pushing away my prior symptoms.
    4. Simpler question : Can silent strokes be found in the future.
    5. Is a routine MRI or CT not safe or practical for the medical system?
    6. What are some specialists we could meet outside of visiting a GP and how do we do it through the US insurance system where most things need to be referred by a GP?

    1. How much a deep and REM sleep should be in 8 hours of sleep?
    2. What is the difference between Melatonin and any other sleeping tablets?
