How to stay hydrated

  • I can’t tell you how many people have come to me drinking a gallon or more of water per day and yet they look like a shriveled-up prune or raisin.
Then as soon as they decrease their water intake and start clearing stress, fixing sleep or digestive issues, and substituting in whole foods for pseudo foods they start looking and acting like fresh plums and grapes again.
Hydration isn’t just about water intake.
It's about reducing inflammation and the toxic burden in our bodies.
When our body is in a state of high pollution from stress, processed foods, medications, chronic infections, pesticide residues, and the like, water gets stuck outside of the cell in the extracellular space trying to dilute all of the pollutants.
We can continue to pump water in but we are just adding more stress to our being and filling up the extracellular space, and then of course you're likely to feel heavy, puffy, bloated and even have edema.
So, yes drink water aiming for about 1/3 of your body weight in ounces of water daily but also consider your sleep, consider your stress response, the margin you are giving yourself in life, and the food you are putting into your body.

how do I clear the pollutants out to get more hydrated?

    I love this info. Especially
how water doesn’t negate constantly putting non nutritive substances. You mentioned drinking 1/3 body weight on ounces is a good amount but I keep hearing and reading 1/2 is the goal. Do you think 1/2 is too much?

It really depends on your body weight and food routine. If you eat real food then you don't need as much and 1/3 is perfect, but if you a lot of processed food then 1/2 is probably a more reasonable number to shoot for.

Combining essential amino acids with electrolytes or water in general is shown increase intracellular hydration much more efficiently than taking electrolytes or water alone. elitefuel.net/products/ef-amino

Usually an electrolyte issue, not toxins. Correct the diet.

no wonder i was confused when i was told i had low cellular moisture yet i drink at least 2 litres of water

      @DrWholeness  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Totally. More water unfortunately doesn’t automatically mean more cellular hydration.

@@kevinwilson3337 yes more fruits and vegetable intake means less need for straight water. 👍🏻

WHEN YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT THE QUANTITY OF WATER, INSTEAD OF SAYING "PINT" & OZ's, WOULDN'T IT BE MORE SENSIBLE TO QUANTIFY IN ml (1000ml =1litre), SO THAT THE WHOLE WORLD UNDERSTANDS!!!
THE WHOLE WORLD HAS MIGRATED TO METRIC SYSTEM ABOUT 40-50 YRS AGO!
IS USA still stuck in oz's??
    WEIRD!!

as an american i’d like to say sorry; i also do not understand it well and much prefer to use a power of 10 to measure like the rest of the world
