God does not bless his people on earth with carved golden images. We don’t do good deeds to be rewarded like this by men, to be seen like this. Christ says surely you will have your reward, and this acceptance of a reward from man is the only award they will get. Abraham gave us an example of that.

They didn't clap because, many of them are not born again, they are being convicted of the Holyspirit, to give their lives to Jesus! Before its too late

Buddy it happens in church every Sunday. And the Glory is for God not us. We clap to praise God not for ourselves. Those who receive reward from people already received it. But we wait on the reward and love from God. Just relax and look at the spiritual side of things. It really doesn’t matter.

I was SO excited to learn they won this!!!! Wish they’d given them an onstage performance too...not just the outside one. But hey.... when you’re spreading the Word of God it IS about singing from the rooftops about his love. This is affirmation that the world needs to hear what you all are singing about... and they are!!!! It’s not the award...it’s the awareness!!!! Thank you for every ounce of yourselves you put into this! To God be the Glory!

I keep wondering the same thing how I feel about this. I’m confused like isn’t the Grammys satanic. Then why are we accepting satanic awards? The Grammys is apart of Hollywood and it’s all demonic and filled with pagan worshippers and satanic occult members. But Christian music groups are constantly accepting their accolades. And it’s attached to mega churches makes me think maybe their allegiance isn’t to Jesus Christ. But who am I to judge? I’m no one but a sinner so only God knows. It just doesn’t sit right with my spirit personally. And only God knows he’s rich in love and full of mercy. I pray he’ll open all our eyes that are blinded and theirs if they are in Jesus name. He has alone knows all the answers to these questions. Although the bible does talk about mixing with the world.

I'm all for spreading the gospel but a grammy is a graven image. We are commanded not to make or worship for ourselves graved images. For our God is a jealous God. Its Idolatry which Adonai hates. This is so of the world and Babylon. We are called to be separate. And not to conform to the patterns of this world. I urge people to read their Bible and research what we have been taught to celebrate. The Father is coming, better learn and repent now while you still can🙏
I was skeptic too about the world giving an award to songs supposedly directed to God in worship. The world hates God, but how comes the god of this world is giving Jesus award? I am just wondering.

I longed to hear that the Glory was for God... I longed to hear the name of Jesus... It is ironic to know that they sing to him but the Glory has not gone to those who deserve it, this would have been the perfect opportunity for them to hear the name of Jesus... Unfortunately it was not.

I 100% agree. I love elevation and have for a long time, still do, but this was extremely disappointing. Seemed so self serving. Even secular artists thanks God when winning awards, yet God is the ONLY reason they are up there, yet His name doesn't cross thier lips once? Yikes. I'm sure He will not be pleased.
Because The True living God Yashua Hamachiac hates these satanic graven image award shows filled with lusty women in tasteless clothing and self serving men being praised for thier works and friendship with the world. They have thier rewards already. The god of this world gives such things as a reward and he doesn't require thanks by name yet, but soon he will. So when they say "i want to thank god" for this satanic award, its not the True living God. They should be rooted in the Lord and not just being 'singers' in a genre of music. This is not glorifying to GOD, but rather glorifying to the god of this world. This is not annointed, they have literally elevated, and they look guilty and uncomfortable dressed that way. 😬 they know they shouldn't be there! And im not even going to talk about their handler Steven Furtick. Its just sad 😔 i will continue to pray for this group as they become the next Kirk Franklin, mary mary, etc... worldy false gospel artist.

Being excited to see an artist perform who opposes Jesus isn’t a good representation…. You can be excited to witness and share the gospel with the artist.
Giving an “thank you God” speech isn’t any different than all the other secular artist that “thank God” …. Proclaim the power in the name of Jesus ! That’s how you give a speech.
And also, final disappointment rant lol …. Are we making worship songs for God or to win awards and be glorified ourselves? Call me judgmental … but I’m speaking all this in love. If it’s for God, make it only about God.

Honestly when the world accepts you that's when you know you are still apart of it.. this was a powerful moment to see them accept that award in front of a room full of haters. They're on the right path and I hope they don't change and start compromising to make the world accept them, like so many other Christian artists have done.

It doesn't matter where you worship you don't need someone else explaining there own understanding of what scripture is saying just pick up a Bible and read it yourself what you don't understand the lord will give you knowledge and understanding with time just start putting him in your everyday life Jesus is made to be worshiped everyday not just once a week were people all go listen to someone speak apon God on their own understanding of him start praying a few times a day and start making a habit of obeying in his word keep praying on it with strength, knowledge and understanding of his will that's all you need he just wants your heart and To try you don't need a church in order to be with him that's false as long as you're worshiping him and studying and trying to obey in his word it doesn't matter if you go to church or not but we are closing in on the last days so most churches are misleading people astray by pastors teaching from their own understandings. God's word will never mislead you I'd recommend just reading it yourself 🙏

I typically never comment but here I am...Firstly, I am sooo soo happy and proud that Elevation Worship and Maverick City won this award. My favorite song is Wait On You, that song came out a day after my brother Richard died and truly helped me through an incredibly traumatic time. The album speaks to my soul everytime I hear it and it will always be in heavy rotation.
Now, for those of you drawing attention to the audience "not clapping" whooooo carrrressssssss. They are not there for the audience. Stop tryna take away from a wonderful moment by over analyzing everything. Which brings me to my next point to the pharisees talking about "they didn't mention Jesus, they didn't thank Jesus, Jevovah" excuse me.....but Chandler did thank God first and foremost. This comment is hilarious. First off, Jesus told us to spread the gospel to the world. We don't reach sinners by preaching to believers in the pew. We have to go out and preach the gospel to the WHOLE world. Second of all, it is the dopest thing to see the gospel being shared on such a worldy platform. That in itself gives us an opportunity to reach the believers on a big scale. And lastly, they made the album to praise the Lord. Just because someone wins an award doesn't mean they did it for that. Maverick City is worship driven, spirit led, and Jesus filled. They did it for Christ, and there is nothing wrong with them receiving recognition from a worldly platform. That just shows you that the world is listening to us and they are hearing the gospel....
