Here’s a couple things to point out…
1. Why is it that Christianity is the only place where the excuse of human nature runs stronger than the conviction/repentance of sin? We are now always so quick to throw around “we are human” or “we all make mistakes” yes this is true, but accountability is key.
2. Christian’s don’t have expectations for others based on our own desires, our expectations come from Gods word and what He has instructed us to do.
3. One doesn’t have to be a pastor in order to be set apart for ministry. As in, ministry through song. The idea is that you have been blessed and called to reach and teach people through music, therefore, through your platform and daily walk, it is vital that you uphold the standards that God has set before you.
4. There is nothing confusing about God nor His word. The simple fact that this gentleman claims that he comes off as confusing to other people is a problem within itself. We are to be leaders of our faith. Leaders aren’t confused about the work that’s needed to be done. People recognize a leader.
5. Christians also do not take their faith seriously anymore. This world has manipulated us into believing we can be of, and in this world, and still see the kingdom of heaven. The Bible is clear that we can not serve two masters. I speak for myself when I say this, we do NOT have time for confusion and disobedience. “For if my people who are called by My name shall humble themselves, seek my face, turn from their wicked ways, then will I heal the land”.
6. Pray ceaselessly for all Christian’s struggling with their faith. Pray ceaselessly for those searching for an answer to their life.

We are the light of the world. Think about how often Jesus spent time with the righteous; instead, He chose to spend much of His time teaching those in need, like the adulterous woman. Light doesn't make much difference where there is already light, but it shines brightest in darkness. God does not judge people; He forgives. You've already rebuked him, so now just pray for him instead of judging.

As I listened to this interview my heart breaks for Dante Bowe and 2 scriptures come to mind: There is a way that seems right to man but it is the way of death & Broad is the road that leads to destruction and many find it, but narrow is the road to eternal life and few there be that find it. Dante's embracing of worldly views (changing his formerly held beliefs) is not good. I will continue to pray for him. God loves him and so do I.

Thing is Dante is just a regular guy that is gifted he needs to hear from God and learn that which God has told him to do with his life, its obvious that his version of Christianity does not emphasise on God's will or leading of the Holy Spirit, we shouldn't be too quick to judge people based on what we expect of them rather find ways to open them up to the guidance and help of the Holy Spirit
Agreed but the fact that Dante still loves Jesus and proclaims God’s freedom is good. We forgot King David was extremely flawed but was still the man after God’s heart. Do not mistake religion for relationship, it is scary and thin line as tipping into religion could easily make us miss the point of our relationship with God
We pray for him! He is not Anointed; just as most "christian artist". People often mistake being Anointed for being gifted. He is very gifted. To be Anointed means you have died to your flesh (denying self) to the point that God entrust you to carry His Power and Presence to heal and destroy strongholds. Which is very rare today.

That is NOT the meaning of being anointed. David was anointed since he was a teenager but still did some horrible things when he was a KInG. So to make mistakes does not mean one is not anointed. Not saying that I know if Dante is anointed or not but your statement is false.
God does not make a person anointed based on what he did or does. But to be anointed means that a person is set APART by God. Made sacred by GOD , not by your own doing to gain Gods trust.

It’s easy for me to sit here and dissect this man’s faith, and I would say he is in dangerous territory with his faith. But if I were honest, and I was in the lime light like he is, and people saw the music I dance too. I’m sure people would consider me on a rocky path as a believer, and I’m not, I just love music. Dante is young guy, and being tempted to have a very successful life in the music industry which comes with lots of other temptations. I love the guys voice and know that he’ll be back. The story of the prodigal is meant for us, don’t be the other brother in the story. Just know the Father never stopped waiting for his son to return with open arms.

As Christians we all make mistakes correct . That’s what repentance is for. But we also must raise up a standard. There is no in between. Cold or hot, we can’t be Luke warm. We are going to either give God 💯 or nothing. You can’t serve two Gods. Two choices you can’t have both. Music is not just Music!!!

Music is not just music at all. Trust me I used to listen to so many different genres that planted things in mind that I’m still fighting even now. One day GOD spoke to me and told me to stop listening to them and get rid of them. I had to reject all those “love songs” sung by people who don’t know love because if you don’t know God, you don’t know love. I had demons enter me through music including a popular “Christian” artist’s music. I know this because during my deliverance we prayed and asked God for revelation and I had a vision of how the demon entered and their names. Thanks be to God I have been delivered but I’m guarding my ear gate and my eye gate. We have to have discernment and be careful of the things we let minister to us. Whether music, movies or other forms of entertainment.
We all fall short, but his eagerness to see Lil NasX, made me sad. That boy hates God and Donte was anticipating his show? To watch what? Devil worship? That was a disappointment

The Bible clearly states that one cannot love God and the world at the same time, you're gonna love one and neglect the other.

My prayer for you is that you go back to your first love!!! To whom much is given, much is required. That means, we’re responsible for our actions in the public, Luke 12:48. When we are called to serve in the Kingdom of God, we’re likely to be scrutinized more so than those who are not! Having said that, yes GOD loves all of us, but He said in 2 Corinthians 6:17; “Therefore, come out from amongst them and be separate; touch no unclean thing, and I will welcome you.” GOD is saying to you Dante Bowe and others who are thinking and even encouraging you to think that you’re on the right path, and that your lifestyle is right, but it is not right. Clean and dirty water cannot run through the same pipeline. You have wandered away from the fold. I know you’ve been hurt and you’re thinking that you’re within your rights to become whomever, but son, there’s time for you to repent, and turn back to GOD; if you have not done so as yet. He’s waiting and praying for your safe return. Many of us in the Kingdom are praying for you, I am one of them. I am not judging you, because “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23. But we cannot remain in a stagnated position and expect things to change in favor of you. You have got to show others that you’re a change man also. No one hates you, they just hates what you’ve become, they’re the ones who have cheered for you for so long, so now they’re feeling disappointed of not been able to do so, because they believed in you, and they can see that you’re NOT in the right place at this time. Return to your first love, by actually acting it out, not just saying it from your mouth and not really walking it out. We have to uphold God’s standards. Dante didn’t make the mistakes. Everything he’s been doing has been deliberate as he has claimed that everything he’s doing is in the name of God and Jesus Christ despite these things not glorifying God or Christ. He knows what he’s doing is wrong, but chooses to do it anyway and think it’s mad when he gets called out for it and then refuses to keep responsibility for his actions and behavior. His age or being younger not excuses or justification. That inappropriate photo was not a mistake. He has posted tons of similar content since that photo.

Give it a couple years. He will get caught up in the drugs & hookup scene maybe; he will be caught up in consumerism and materialism maybe - but he is rooted in Christ. At his lowest, Christ will reconstruct what Danté attempted to deconstruct. And then Danté will enter repentance, turn away from the secular, and return home to the father. Humans are messy. Thank God for his patience and mercy of time. One day Danté will possess the ears to hear, but the maturity of the faith to hear now is not present. He will look back and be given that supernatural comprehension by our Lord when this particular process is complete.

These are the last days and the Bible talks about the apostate church. It says people will become lovers of themselves. The degree of conviction and discernment has dropped. So no you're wrong the judgement isn't getting worse, it's the "Christians" who want to mingle in darkness that's getting worse.
Many say...."God still loves me". But how are we loving God? Yes we have free will to live our own lives and not be judge...but if you say...I believe in Christ and I love Him the Bible is clear on that relationship and how we become representatives, witnesses of Christ for the glory of God, not self. There is a standard of living according to God's word and HOLY Spirit, not man's standard....God has a standard. When we study His word, we learn the standard Christ tells Peter to RAISE UP. Yes we have some harsh backlash from other believers out there but it does not change that as believers we are called to be set apart.
Because many Christians mix with the world, many laugh and call us weak because we poorly represent the standard and love of Christ.
There is a righteous judgment we as believers are supposed to have, in love for our fellow brothers and sisters. Sadly, many choose the BROAD way that leds to destruction, instead of the NARROW path in Christ.
And no, this is not me judging or saying im perfect but it is a highlight on....people want to recieve the love of God and give Him little to no love or representation of Holy living. The same way Israel kept leaving God for everything and everybody else, is the same way many Christians are today and yes it's sad.

I felt like Tamron was asking and answering the questions for him. It would have been great to hear from him without her interjecting and changing the tone with ‘her’ answers. I don’t feel like the interview shared anything outside of what is known. I would have loved to see his heart and how he is feeling about everything happening as well as where he is going.

Love Dante and I'm praying for him. I give grace to his path because I was on the same one until I came to the true revelation that when you are called by God, you are also called to a deeper level of separation from things that don't glorify his name. I'm all for sharing life experiences, but it should always point back to Jesus. There's a great anointing on his life and I believe the enemy is using the worldly concept of what "freedom" is to push forth this duality when it comes to the christians walk. There is no duality. There is no grey area. You either live a life according to his word or you don't. You can't serve two masters. I believe Dante will get it right, and I'm hopeful of this.
Religion isn’t scary! what scares people like him is when you profess Christianity and godliness, and live an alternate ungodly lifestyle, and then you are exposed. True Christians will say something because you are sending mixed messages to unbelievers & those that need to be saved. Yes he is confused and double-minded. The Bible speaks about people like him. We are called to judge righteously, and the Bible says that judgment starts in the house of God. There is a way that seems right to a man, but it leads to death proverbs 14:12. Christians are called saints. The only other option is to be called a sinner. There's no in between status. Though he's still young I Christ it's still a very serious deal how you present yourself. Not to please men or religion but to please God. Gospel music is not a genre its followers of Christ way of expression to the Lord. I pray this youngman have spiritual leaders that will guide him in His growth with the Lord. Also, no one is prefect. Right? Isn't that why Jesus came?
