- This is my tutorial and test drive video using the application DashCommand for iOS along with the BT1 OBD-II bluetooth module from GoPoint Tech. Car is a 2000 Mercury Sable LS Premium, Duratec 3.0L 24v V6 engine. AX4N Transmission.
The Torque and Horsepower readings are actually quite accurate. Your car may have 200hp at the crank but it doesn't at the wheels which is what it's reading. Taking in an average 20% powerloss it's nearly perfect.
Thanks for posting - very cool to see before I buy this thing....
I haven't actually tried that. I would be inclined to say the answer is no, unless you have a second device to play music, but I'm not sure!
Yeah, a 10" tablet mounted to your windshield is all kinds of illegal while driving.
HP is at the wheels.
needs gauge on live cam like torque!
Can it clear engine codes or only read them???
DashCommand don't works on iPhone 7 Plus
I dont know whats worse, the fact you have an Ipad mounted to your windshield, your video recording, or you added this to a Mercury Sable, or all the above... And to top it off how many times you say its a little off, but yet you dont have every inputted.... This app works great, and yes it may be delayed slightly, but it is accurate if you have everything inputted correctly....
PS. dont mount that IPAD to your windshield, or record while driving, you will cause an accident!
