    The cake came out really well (soft and fragrant) but you can't tell that the flavour is mango... Does the mango variety used make a difference?
    Also, is 1/2 tsp baking soda = 3g?

    • @BakeWithBanuSamee
      @BakeWithBanuSamee  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Just baked this morning but no success. The texture is very wet and muddy, unlike cake texture. I guess I should not put 100g mango purees. Do you think mango purees comes with high liquid so it makes the cake wet?

      @BakeWithBanuSamee  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry it didn't work well for you..did you use fresh mangoes or tinned mango puree?.cake will be soft only..as we are adding fruits which will give little wet to cake.

    • @gracemok5073

    • @BakeWithBanuSamee
      @BakeWithBanuSamee  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      What mango puree did you add..beat butter and sugar until its creamy..do not over beat once you add the egg..over beat the butter and egg it may look curdle..thats not the problem , add the dry ingredients and fold.

    • @panda-cz7nr
      @panda-cz7nr 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Btw the taste was amazing though, but I think the cake became too compact for this reason (and flat, not risen enough even though I doubled my baking soda, powder amount the second time)
