Thanks for this recipe! I made the cake today ❤ perfect texture, super soft and moist, at the same time, firm and easy to handle. In fact I doubled the recipe for a large cake. The only change I made is to add a few chunks of mango as a layer in the cake. I loved that the cake top was flat, something that I haven’t experienced earlier ;)
I just tried this cake and although its soft and fluffy but its colour is not bright yellowish orange like yours. It's like light brown. Can you please tell me what's the reason? P.S. the mango I used was fresh yellowish orange.
I tried this recepie came out well...but the sugar quantity mentioned here is very less try to add more sugar for this recepie to make it taste good... otherwise there is no sweet taste in it...
Hi, thanks for the feedback! Well, the amount of sugar used depends on the sweetness of the mangoes use. Since it is a tea cake it is better not to make it too sweet but yes you can always adjust the amount of sugar used

Hi mam! This mango cake looks delicious!
If I want prepare it for 4 people should I double the proportion for 2?
Thank you! This cake is good enough for 4 people..I have cut it into thick slices..
Hi , it look 💕. Omg . Can i do it without using any sugar
I’m not sure the outcome will be as good. Plus eliminating sugar altogether could give you a drier cake
Excellent recipe 😋😍
Thanks a lot!
I will try this one super.. 🥰😄
Happy to hear that! Thanks for the feedback!
Looks delicious
Thank you!
Looks very good ❤
Thank you so much!
Wow❤❤
Thank you!

Thanks a lot!
Master chef
Thank you!
What can we use instead of eggs??
I have not tried an eggless version of this cake but you could try replacing each egg with 1/4 cup this yogurt (curds)
The mango measurement is correct for the pulp or the chunks?
My cake taste so good omg🥰🥰🥰... but it cracked at the top😞. Tips to avoid this pls🙏
The mango measurement was for the puree (paste) - 100gms
Happy to hear that!! Perhaps the tin size you used was small (too much batter in a small tin) which is what led to the crack on top
I actually doubled the recipe and used 2 8x4 loaf pans ... I'll figure it out eventually
Thanks again for the recipe 👏👏👏
Fantastic!! Glad to hear that! Thanks for the feedback!
I just tried this cake and although its soft and fluffy but its colour is not bright yellowish orange like yours. It's like light brown. Can you please tell me what's the reason?
P.S. the mango I used was fresh yellowish orange.
It possibly depends on the variety of mango used..I usually use Alphonso variety available in India
Turned out superb!!
Wonderful! Thanks for the feedback!
Can we bake this in a 6 inch round dish
Yes you can but with the remaining batter you can make some cupcakes
Can this be made with gluten free flour?
No idea as I have never tried it
Can i do this recipe measurements in 8 inch cake pan
Yes you can
Can i use salted butter?
Yes you can although unsalted is best. Dont add any other salt to the recipe in that case
😍🤩
Thank you!
Hi... what can I replace butter with ?
I havent tried using a replacement so I can’t suggest
If using a bigger tin can I double the measurements?
Yes you can
Pls make egg puffs i have missed it alot
Sure, will make that soon
@@ruchikrandhap thankyou
Can we add brown sugar and whole wheat flour
You can but whole wheat cakes will
be more dense and may require more moisture content. You can add a little milk if the batter is too stiff
agr butter na hu to oil mix kerksta ha ?
No because it will change the consistency of the batter and eventually the texture of the cake
Yummy cake 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋👏👌💖👍
Thanks a lot!
can i use oil instead butter
It won’t give you the same result
its that mango pulp just blended mango or is there something else
It is just mango pulp
if i like to make cake however omitting the mango in it. Does the rest of the ingredients remain the same ??
I don’t think its a good idea modifying the recipe drastically - you may not get the same results. Instead, pls use my featherlight teacake recipe
@@ruchikrandhap ok

@@ruchikrandhap thank you for your reply 🙏... however we enjoyed the cake as we have diabetic patients at our home 😀
Yummy cake...
Am I the only one who cringed when she didn’t cut the slices based on the rack lines?
Yeah possibly because everyone else knows that slices need to be equal in size. The rack lines are not uniform 😊
I think my mango wasn't as flavourful as what you used as I could not taste it in the cake.
Oh sorry to hear that! Next time pls use very ripe and sweet mangoes
Can it bake in gas stove using kaadai ?
Yes you can if you have tried this method before
