A Calif. Zephyr in Ft. Morgan on 10DEC2024

This California Zephyr #5 made its station stop in Fort Morgan at 0546 MST (1 min. off but who is counting). The power for this 8-car consist was provided by P42s #180 & #179. They brought the train to a stop with car 6 to the mid-station platform. There was no passenger traffic this morning. After a greeting to the camera guy the high ball was given and on a clear signal, the Zephyr resumed track speed toward its next stop at Union Station in Denver on its trek to Emeryville, CA.
My thanks for the greetings from the operating crew and the passengers on the upper deck of the sightseer/lounge car.
