Good morning, Tony; I thank you for dialing in and the comments. I normally don't witness a group this big and as energetic. It is always neat to capture on video. Have a great Sunday. Please take care and stay safe!
Good afternoon, James; Thanks for stopping by along with the comments. It was refreshing to see all of this group this morning. I think most of these folks were thru here as a group last year about this time. Hope that you have a great Afternoon and evening. Please take care and stay safe!
Good morning, Richard; Thanks for stopping by as well as the comments. I think that was Nick in the cab and I was elated that he gave them a quick toot. I agree with you about Kelly. He has some great people skills. And so does Mandy. I hope that you have a great Saturday. Please take care, stay cool, and safe!
Hi Mr. Mike, thanks for the #5 coverage. - it's always great. That was indeed quite a group. A high of 102° at our house today and the humidity was a little higher. They're giving a 40% chance of precip for Sunday & Monday. We'll see - we sure need the rain. Have a great evening - Be well. Let's hiball on signal indication Papa Geoff - Here we go on a clear - Cleaaaaar, thanks OUT 🚦🚦
Good morning, Papa Geoff; Thanks for stopping by along with the comments. That was an energized group. Even the adults. Think today will be a stop and go. We have at lest1 more day of upper 90s, but no rain forecast for the next several days. Too dry for that up here. I had seen that you are drying out down there. Kinda like the Panama Canal not having the water to keep the ships passing thru. I hope that you have a great Sunday. Please take care and stay safe!
Good morning and thanks for dialing in along with the comments. It was a longer video today. I am also fighting the editing program that has been "updated" by MSN. I'll figure it out. I hope that you have a great Saturday. Please take care, stay cool, and safe!
Hello, Lance; Thank you for tuning in from the other side of the world. You hit it with "the A team". Beats some of the "F troops" I've run across. LOL! Hope that you have a great day over there. Please take care and stay safe!
Good morning Mike. Great video catch this morning! The family there going to Glenwood Springs…was good you advised that young child to stay back of the line. Those trains can still generate a wind vortex even while slowing down. Have a great Labor Day weekend Sir! Glad I found your channel! Mark in Iowa.
Good morning, Mark; Thank you for dropping by along with the comments. I think this group has been thru here before. And there were several more joining them in Denver. Glenwood Springs will survive them, I think. Their excitement was catching as they waited. he youngster who pushed the warning line reminded me of myself at a much earlier age. I pushed the limits too. Then I grew up. The parents and guardians were watching too and got them under restraint. I did enjoy seeing this group here. I hope they have a great weekend out there. And I hope that you have a great Saturday. Please take care, stay cool, and safe!
Good evening, @akinarslan8756; Thank you for dialing in and the comments from Turkey. I appreciate it. Always interesting to greet viewers from other nations across the world. Thanks again for looking in. I hope that you have a great evening over there. Please take care and stay safe!
Hi Mike and thanks for the catch of #5 this morning. Big crowd boarding this morning. Loved the little guy with the dinosaur on his back. He had the most important thing. Enjoy your Saturday and stay safe.
Goon morning, Tom; I thank you for dialing in as well as the comments. Their energy was infectious. Even I got excited for them. That little guy was very fortunate to have mom there to grab his second most important item, his blanket. What a wonderful group. .. I hope you have a great Saturday. Please take care, stay cool, and safe!
Good morning Mike. Another great sunrise greeting the #5 and all of the new passengers filled with excitement. Hope they have a super day wherever they are headed. Be safe and stay cool. Looks like next week the heat might back off a little.
Good morning, David; Thanks for dropping by and the comments this morning. These late summer/early fall sunrises do have a lot of color. That group was so energized it carried over to all. I felt it as well. Glenwood Springs will not be the same after they return home. LOL! It is about time to start closing windows to hold the cool air in the house. Another warm one today. Hope that you have a great Saturday. Please take care, stay cool, and safe!
Good morning, Ken; I thank you for stopping by as well as the comments. This was a banner day for the passenger work at the depot. I think I have witnessed this group before. I'm sure they will have a great time over on the western slope. Hope that you have a great Saturday back there. Please take care, stay cool, and safe!
Good afternoon, John; Thanks for tuning in as well as the question. I am sure there was seating available on thar coach. And I am also sure many went to the sightseer/lounge car almost as fast as they got on board. Hope that you have a great afternoon and evening. Please take care and stay safe!
Good morning. John; Thanks for dropping by as well as the comments. I think I'll settle for burger and a roller done somehow. I do enjoy seeing and recording the Zephyrs thru here. When it isn't fun anymore, I'll stop. But not until then. Hope that you have a great Saturday. Please take care, stay cool, and safe!
Hi Mike! 👋 Wow!! They're increasing the population of Glenwood, that's for sure. That was a BIG step today, getting on the train.. just shy of the platform. That large of a group reminded me of Home Alone, herding them all to get on the train! And, invariably, the noisiest car, once again, stopped by you! Little kids make engineers do against the rules things! 😊 Love that!! Thanks for the catch of # 5 this morning! I just realized there might be 1 day, that we agree, to disagree! 🤔😉 November 24th. Have a WONDERFUL Saturday! Gotta watch my Hawks take care of Utah State! 💛🖤 Jean
Good afternoon, Jean; Thanks for dropping by and the comments. I am happy for Mandy and Kelly they knew ahead of time of this group. I am sure it was covered in their training. The excitement from this group was catching. I was feeling it as well. It seems the compressors and pumps on those cars find me no matter where I stand. It was a nice gesture from the cab for that muted toot. That doesn't happen much. Nah. We won't disagree. Notre Dame wins. LOL!! My "men of corn did step all over their cob a Minnesota. There has been a lot of crow eaten on both sides of that game. Sadly, the NHRA "Summernationals" drag races aren't being televised until tomorrow and Monday. But I can still follow most of the racing online. I hope that you have a great afternoon and evening. Yes. Go Hawks! Take care, stay cool , and safe!
Good morning, Carolyn; Thanks for stopping by and the comment. I hope all is ok. Please have a great Sunday. Take care and stay safe!@@carolynsteed3649
Morning Mike - I think the crew on that train will miss not having the opportunity to join you for your coffee this morning. Whilst it is pleasing to see such an increase in patronage for Ft Morgan I'm sure the departing passengers were more grateful than those still on board that car LOL. Anyway looks like a pleasant morning out your way Mike enjoy your coffee.
Good morning, Dennis; Thanks for dropping by along with the comments. I was caught off guard this morning as I saw Mandy standing by at the baggage door on car 8. I am sure the crew would be beside themselves with this group today. I am also sure they were happy to turn the train over to the relief crew in Denver. More and more passengers are figuring out that the depot here is a great place to launch from when they travel by train. Beats the price of parking as well as the traffic hassles in Denver. It was 60 F at train time with a humidity of 43% and a dew point of 31 F. Pretty dry. We are headed for upper 90s F again today and tomorrow. Typical for out here. And the swimming pool is now closed. Feel sorry for the younger set because of that. I hope that you have a great Saturday. Please take care, stay cool, and safe!
Hello Lindsay; Thanks for stopping by along with the comments. Yep. They were to have another 5 meet them in Denver and then travel to Glenwood Springs for the rest of the weekend. I think I have captured them before as they made a similar trip. I hope that you have a great Sunday. Please take care and stay safe!
Good afternoon again, Norman; The car attendant may have been in the vestibule as an assistant in the car. The other item is the time of arrival in Fort Morgan was before they start work. There ae other times I've seen them with the A/Conductor welcoming patrons on the platform. Oh well.
Now that was a lot for this stop! So cool, Mike!
Good morning, Tony; I thank you for dialing in and the comments. I normally don't witness a group this big and as energetic. It is always neat to capture on video.

Awesome great to see all those fares have a good one Mike

Nice to see the Engineer give a little toot for the kids. Kelley has a lot of patience. Have a great Labor Day weekend.
Good morning, Richard; Thanks for stopping by as well as the comments. I think that was Nick in the cab and I was elated that he gave them a quick toot. I agree with you about Kelly. He has some great people skills. And so does Mandy.

Enjoy some end of summer cookout food for Labor Day. What you do is a labor of love! The more passengers the better!

Hello Mike, this is the most people I've seen at this station in quite a while. Are they going to Glenwood Springs??

I must have missed something, what happened to Mike, is he ok?
I wonder why the car attendant is not around to help the conductor when there are many people to load !
