I just put one in yesterday and I get +1.5MPG and slightly better performance out of the engine. The increase in sound is very slight for my though. Best $30 spent on a car, thank you!
Other parts I have noticed can be cheap while still being good are the turbo charge pipes. I got a whole set off ARM for a tad over 160$ and my buddy bought only the turbo pipe from ECS tuning and it costed him over 200$. Looking at the two they are exactly the same, bends, welds, etc.. Except the paint on them.. I'm not looking to cheap out on parts but when I see stuff like that there's zero point in burning money away that could be put somewhere else lol

This is actually the way i found out my turbo was replaced before, i wanted to buy a muffler delete but i checked out the turbo first and i was kind of confused that my turbo does not have those bolts there so i can't change that because that part is fused together with the rest of the turbo. It's a borgwarner one, i think is as good as the OEM and it does have an advantage, the wastegate actuator is adjustable so if it's just a little sloppy there you could tight the nut a little bit and wastegate will get a little bit tighter, that is what i did anyway.

The fuel flange is like a piece of sticky rubber that just goes over the top of the fuel pump, the after run coolant pump I recently did a video on and the heater something I can’t remember what that might be.
Hey Man, I love watching your videos and I'm a tech too. I also own the Shitty Famous Audi A52.0tfsi CDNB Engine code. I had the piston rings problem and some other usual ones too, i solved everything out and also have done a full engine rebuild, valves, pistons, rings, bearings etc. i have ran my engine in for total 5k miles, its running smooth, no problems what so ever. Im looking to do a Stage 1 Remap. After engine rebuild im running as a estimated 200BHP. Stock power was 185BHP. i have a few mods, better coil packs, plugs and Custom Valved exhaust Catback that i made at work, vacuum controlled by boost using a secondary vacuum pump that i installed near the manifold so the valves open under boost. Anyways, Stage 1 qoutes are giving me 260-270BHP Estimated on dyno. I wanted to get some insight from you, im thinking a overall 60-90bhp increase from stock may cause damage to the engine. whats your option on the engines, i know they are good for power. I usually tell my customers that have other makes and models not to tune their cars for max power on stage 1. but theres many people pulling crazy numbers with the EA1888 Blocks and the CDNB, CDNC engine codes. Whats your thoughts on this? Would it be trust worthy and safe to run 260+ bhp on "stock internals" I Haven't got any further issues with the engine and have resolved everything
You can hear it the best when it’s up hill with a load and accelerating. It doesn’t make that much of a difference in noise unless you’re paying attention with the window down, for that reason it’s hard to get on film. Pay naptown does a noisy timing chain sound like a vacuum leak or a hissing coming from the very front of the engine near the timing chain cover.? I could tell it was replaced there was a hole drilled and the radiator support to get the one bolt out of the camshaft oil dipstick holder and it was broke farther down. And there's some kind of sealant on the top of the timing chain cover evidence that it was removed
Sounds like a vacuum leak you should probably have a lean fault you can hear the idle raise by spraying carb cleaner near the hissing sound but more accurate way of doing it is with a scan tool looking at fuel trims when you spray
I bought the same part, Followed the same process of "forcing" 😂😂 it worked but the breaking in was a little scary with acceleration just cutting in and out...stopped after 1 day..anyone think it was something else? also your kitchen is hilarious!!
I put it in one of my cars and never experienced that, it’s hard to tell a difference with it installed but I like the idea of a smooth pipe without the turbulence

It’s probably fine but I stay away from China parts as much as possible. A rule of thumb is, you need to buy parts from a reputable parts supplier and not off some Amazon or eBay store
Not much after that maybe charge pipes downpipe and a stage 2 tune with a stage 2 clutch (or stage 1 just not stock)I wouldn’t recommend going to a stage 1 cuz the power gain from stage 2 is much more only spending a few hundred extra on the downpipe (stage 1 doesn’t really require it but it’s recommended so eh 🤷♂️) also front intercooler i got an intake and diverter valve and i already get crazy turbo spools i have a vid on my page if u wanna check it out 🫶🏻
If you notice that updated piece had a two stage o-ring the top o-ring seals so it’s a smooth pipe all the way down. I don’t believe the factory muffler piece even reaches to the top. I did think about that as well though because I believe in jb weld enough that it wouldn’t fall or break out with the turbo heat but it’s still probably just a bad idea.
Definitely make more power with the bigger profile on the turbo wheel but it’s always a slight trade off for waiting for boost until a little further in the rpm range then it hits a little harder. For this reason I think it’s pointless to waist time and money for anything bigger than a k04. On a 2.0t 4 cylinder.

@@newacount1777 ya only the factory k03 ihi turbos do that with the junk bushing in the linkage that wears out and gets sloppy. K04 starts at $1500 that one I have that I haven’t installed yet I show in one of my videos, I paid $2300 it came with a down pipe and it’s a slightly better turbo made by borgwarner
Would you say the 2.0 tfsi is a reliable engine once the timing chain and oil consumption issues etc have been resolved? I have had all the major issues dealt with on my A4 B8, but i still dont trust the car.
It’s a good platform, especially the car itself. everything is great once all the updates are done. Even some Toyota’s drink oil from bad pistons. I have been all over the Midwest and east coast even doing towing.
@@rizwanhaque9735 eventually I’ll get around to most everything but these 2.0t in the USA are 6 and 8 speed with a torque converter and don’t have many problems. I’ll do a transmission flush and filter change soon and I can talk about them maybe take some stuff apart
I’m going to cover all the stuff on this platform (mostly) before I move to other cars other audis and vw’s. If the channel grows enough I’ll get different cars to go all the way through but barely making it so far
@@NaptownTuner My timing chain failed on my A4 B8, and my Mechatronic failed with a fried TCM on my Golf Mk6. So i have had both luck with both cars, hopefully they will last a while so i can get my moneys worth out of them!
My schedule is all over the place. I don’t set alarms these days unless I’m going to church.. I should probably put myself on an actual schedule though! Need to take more advantage of all the daylight.

You can't, same problem here, your turbo was changed.

No but it you get the cheap one you might need to force it in like I did.
