Hey i watch the full vdo, but i have a question, us the new makita battery already use cell with a bunch of tab already? Or still a single tab ones? Thank you for a kind reply.
I am confused why the 4Ah battery should have same energy like the 5 Ah battery. Below battery, it is written 144Wh. Same on the old 4Ah battery. And this is right, because 36V x 4 Ah = 144 Wh. Another interesting fact: F version has an IP 64 protection according to datasheet. Old version not. Or it is not written in datasheet.
He explained why a tabless cell is around 40% more efficient they don't have spots that get to hot. And is uses the stored energy way more effectively the old tabbed cells have a bottle neck and don't use all the energy stored in the battery. That's why a 4Ah battery can make more power and last just as long because it's used 90% of the stored energy. the old tabbed cell would probably only use 70% with less output and worse heat management
They will eventually because why would battery manufacturers continue to make a inferior product. They use the exact same amount of resources. No one is going to want the old battery technology once makita has sold off all the old batteries they will be useing the current technology available as it will become standard.
I loved the explanation of the battery 'tabs' 🙏👍. Typ. tech that's usually explained in ways that make sure we don't understand by people who don't give an F.

And NO stores in the UK are selling them
Because Makita UK hasn't ordered any yet.
Hey i watch the full vdo, but i have a question, us the new makita battery already use cell with a bunch of tab already? Or still a single tab ones? Thank you for a kind reply.
35:56 here is what i mean
@@dejwongkittikun3178 old ones are not tabless, these are the first ones
@@riba2233Thanks Riba, so you mean the Makita 40v current one is multiple or single tab ones?
@@dejwongkittikun3178 this one is multiple, every other one is single
@@aaronoconnor606so basically the regular 40v 4Ah is losing a fair amount in heat, this new one is so efficient we're getting the real deal for 4Ah.
Makita, Flex…ing on the competition 😂
Umm... in what way?
You should review a Panasonic tool.
Crikey! That's a great idea 💡 👍
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL can you get Panasonic batteries in New Zealand? They make some nice impact drivers and insulation driver /drills
@@aaronoconnor606 Yes
I hope that they resale18v 9.0 Ah sony/murata vtc6 15 cells
Doubt they will but you can make your own!
Interesting. Cool. Cheers
Need a 18v version
They will eventually because why would battery manufacturers continue to make a inferior product. They use the exact same amount of resources. No one is going to want the old battery technology once makita has sold off all the old batteries they will be useing the current technology available as it will become standard.
@@aaronoconnor606 hopefully mate, every other tool company is doing it
Please do a review on the new 40v grinder, model number GA050GZ vs the past model 40v grinder
It's already up on Patreon.
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL😮😮 can't wait to see!
Vx40 about 4$ for 1 old cell (99%, 4.5ohm) in Viet Nam
Yeah, idk where they got them from lol
Interesting
amazing
When will these be released? Anyone know
They are released already
In the us?
@@alanjimenez1449 not sure, but they are out in the eu, japan, aus&nz at least
No audio for half of it??
Something wrong at your end. Try it on a different device.

Макита, сделай уже этот чертов каркасный нейлер!!!111
I loved the explanation of the battery 'tabs' 🙏👍. Typ. tech that's usually explained in ways that make sure we don't understand by people who don't give an F.
Yep, great visual explanation, that is the way
Does this new high output battery last as long as a 5ah battery on the 40v blower?
Watt did he say?
I don't understand: the 4050F... has and F in it, the 4080F... has one in it... So what the F
More power output
Please give your birds some ear protection!
I need ear protection from them!
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL 😆😆😆
Alot of double audio in the first 2 minutes.
Not a fan of the different sticker though, kinda makes it look like a knock-off battery.
If you have another child will you name it Makita ??????????????????????????
Another?
I can't call 2 of them Makita.

Standing by for thermal runaway.
Not available in UK. Annoying as fuck!!
Makita UK rep didn’t even know about this battery. With such a big powertools market here it’s unfathomable why we get left behind with this release.
Annoys the shit out of me.
