I got scolded for opening the blinds to check out the Himalayas. The second time was when I flew to AKL with QR. This was a strange flight as it left in the darkness and arrived very early in the morning, also in darkness. At one point I opened the blinds and it was broad daylight outside. I don't think there is a hard and fast rule with this, it seems to be at the discretion of the crew on the day as I've had many flights that are all daylight or see an odd sunrise/sunset/daylight/night combo and no one asked us to keep the blinds down. On the 787 the crew can be in complete control of the window shades and I have been on one flight where it's been locked on the darkest mode, but you can still see outside a bit.

If I'm not wrong the angry captain is one of HiFly's big bosses, Carlos Mirpuri... about the food... it's not HiFly food since they are almost plastic-free airline.
Hi-Fly is does wet lease air charter. They provide the airplane, flight crew, and regulatory staff. If anything happens on or to the flight Hi-Fly has to answer for what happens. I can understand the Captain taking a very hard line with PIA staff, if there are any issues. It can very profitable if done right. And can get very messy if it’s screwed up.
I flew around that part of the world when I was younger, but as a AirLine vlogger and geek, it is very daring for you to keep going without knowint even who operates the plane!
I politely refuse to let aircrew close my blind when flying. I point out that I choose to sit in a window seat because I want to look out of it and that's what I intend to do. I love flying but I suffer from claustrophobia and I won't book a flight where I can't reserve a seat next to the window at the point of making the booking. Never had a problem which leads me to believe they're doing it because the cabin crew want everyone to go to sleep so they get a quiet flight
Same with me mate its exactly the same thing. I must admit I'm a plane window Karen who never shuts the window blinds. Here's a trick put your fingers in between the window itself and the blind. They will not shut it if someone's fingers are in the way. I can't sleep on planes either. I put a blanket on the window. It's nicer to the window too.
When I flew to London, the plane was 5 hours late arriving to Philadelphia. So, we didn't board until midnight. The plane was supposed to be full and there were only 149 passengers on the plane. I was awake most of the time, playing with the inflight enetertainment system. The BA flight attendants were fun. We played a game where I would ask them to write a money amount on a sheet I provided, then I would put money out to match it, and they would check it off and did it again. The trick was it could only be in change. It kept all of us busy. I'm a T1 diabetic and had to take my evening bloods and insulin. I had a pretty good time.!
They are called Hi Fly and its a charter airline that gets utilised by airlines and football clubs. Quite enjoyed and still do working with this airline.
Agree with you 110% most of the time crew want to rest after service and don't care - hence hate the electronic master control of the window shade by the crew

Hate when people want the blinds down. One of my plane windows Connor actrally growls if you touch his window shade.
Keep up the good work Noel! What map-system are you running on your tablet?
Miles better than other travel bloggers noel..really enjoyed it thanks
If I'm not wrong the angry captain is one of HiFly's big bosses, Carlos Mirpuri... about the food... it's not HiFly food since they are almost plastic-free airline.
Hi-Fly is does wet lease air charter. They provide the airplane, flight crew, and regulatory staff. If anything happens on or to the flight Hi-Fly has to answer for what happens. I can understand the Captain taking a very hard line with PIA staff, if there are any issues.
It can very profitable if done right. And can get very messy if it’s screwed up.
Interesting how at 3:36 you see a guy with HiFly yellow vest, but you keep on saying “I have no idea what airline this is”
He's a drama queen.
I have enjoyed your comments regarding that strange food!!! Good report!
Guess you haven't seen rice and meat patties before. Sad...
christ, were they following a loadplan or just throwing cargo in.
ukaviationimages seems extremely dangerous....but it’s Pakistan so 🤷🏻♂️
The a330 cockpit looks like it's rocking a mean pair of wayfarers.
7:38 "Adam's Yoghurt" from Adam and he very much enjoyed making it. 🤭🤭🤭😂
Once I have seen the pilot go down the stairs, I would have Grand theft Auto that baby!!!!!!!
on thing we Indians and Pakistanis are very good at is - the concept of work-arounds. This is a great example :)
I had a pretty good time.!
cool story sis. now go do your homework.
Did you say "ROASTED DOG BALLS?"
One of your better comments, sir!
Excellent vlog, as always 👌
I love your boldness to try the food!!! LOL! You are braver than I am, but also a much more seasoned traveler. =)
They are called Hi Fly and its a charter airline that gets utilised by airlines and football clubs. Quite enjoyed and still do working with this airline.
Agree with you 110% most of the time crew want to rest after service and don't care - hence hate the electronic master control of the window shade by the crew
Your little side comments make me laugh! Love this channel 😂
The airline was visible on the worker's vests when boarding the plane it was hi fly
@ 9:40 i'm certain that is a Shami Kebab haha.
HiFly is a charter airline based in lisbon, they were loaned by PIA to replace them as a partner code
Tbh i think it's quite nice to see the Neo cockpit mask this acc (Seems to be 9H-TAJ) which is a Ceo A330. It certainly gives a nice touch on it. :D
That A330 is a retired Singapore Airlines plane. Hifly is their new owner, but those seats are the old regional business class product for Singapore Airlines.
I’m Pakistani I remember going back in 2017 before the new airport it changed so much with the new airport and it had a lot of bus boarding back then
Thats the HIFLY a330Neo they are a charter airline from Lisbon they normally fill in for airlines in situations like this they helped Norwegian when the 737Max was grounded by using their A380 in the coral reef livery
You had to take that PIA flight going to Gilgit a short but a dream flight crossing the beast of mountains up north!
I am from Manchester to I'm happy to see u in Pakistan
Noel, you have so many issues with the food, how are you traveling and vlogging over the the world?
This used to be a Singapore Airlines flight. I have been on this same business class cabin between Singapore and Bangkok. Unlike this crap service, SQ had best in class service even on regional flights on this exact same plane
Thanks Mr noel Philips great video and best wishes from a Pakistani in America ☝️🇵🇰🇵🇰🇺🇸🇺🇸☝️best wishes to England best wishes to her majesty royal British queen
