I went from 2021 X6 M40i to 2023 F-Pace SVR. Recently ordered 2025 F-Pace Edition 575 - love Jag style, performance and value. I compare the F-Pace much more to X6/X5 than X3/X4
I have a 2018 Jaguar XF 2.0T with the same engine as your F-Pace. No problems, I like it. Good MPG as well. The engine is robust. I'll keep this car for a long time.
Thx for the review Mark. That definitely looks like an improvement over the original F Pace. Looks like the 4 banger starts in the 60k USD, the I6 is 70-80k, and the 5.0l is over 100k usd. The biggest hangup i have and its with all of the luxury brands sans Acura, they are 35 to 40 miles away. Its specific to me of course, but if i was gonna chance 1 from them, id feel better being about half that distance or less. Especially if i had the stones to get a hybrid from jag. They may b good, but electronics hasnt been their strong point.
Hi Dave thanks for reaching out and yes these SUVs are beautiful and nice to drive, but being a long way away can pose a challenge unless you have a truck and trailer for the odd breakdown. Normal maintenance is just a drive away so it’s not bad really just for standard servicing but yes they are also much more reliable than models from the past from my experience however, it’s certainly not a Lexus, which can be either good or bad. Acura is also solid but there have been a mix of transmission woes in some and recently the V6 has had some engine troubles in certain runs. This unit is likely most interesting with the V8 but really best bang for buck goes to the middle 6 cylinder unit. That’s the sweet spot.
I agree, its a nice feature. Only thing is the glass is more money if it gets broken as apparently there is some sort of finish within that helps its reflection ability
Took a SVR for a test ride a few month's ago, I did liked it but the dealer is a little over an hour away. I wanted something a little more 4x4 look so I ordered a Lexus GX.
Great review. I saw the SVR one by throttle house but wanted to see a more general one about other trims and engines. You didn't disappoint. How are you getting your hands on these cars to review them?
I believe they are worth in especially in the upgraded drivetrains. Avoid the base engines and the start stop yes ypu have to turn off each time you use the vehicle but thats how most vehicles are
The SVR has 575 HP, while the R, which has a review here too, has the 550 and indeed I like the way they all drive but the F type is far more electrifying
I have owned my SVR for about a year now. I hate it. The transmissions is retarded and cant pick gears. Maybe its because i came from a manual m4, but jesus. This thing is a pig. Sounds amazing, but i can probably count to 3 before it takes off when you step on it. Looks great, sounds great, but wow its slow.

Great choice, thats how I eel too, and the SVR is a beast. Should be fun. I have the same engine in my F Type R
@@ExoticCarPlayplace Hey Mark, you may recall my black 2023 F-Type P450 with custom rims. that is where love affair with the Jag V-8 started
Absolutely wonderful vehicles indeed. I also am still loving my F Tyoe
I have been shopping for the MB. I think I like this better! What a nice car.
They are wonderful rides
Love the review. Makes me want to upgrade my 2018. I love the Jags! They make some pretty kitties.
They really do. The shapes are nice and some of the lighting and details are fresh on these
Thanks for this video on the base model. But I’m torn between the P400 and the SVR 575😅. Just want a little more power.
I would recommend going the R or SVR

They are wonderful cars to drive in general and are different than everything else out there right now

I really wish the older F types had a head up display. It's so cool

Great review, how would you say the ride quality is like compared to Mercedes GLC and the level of road and wind noise?
My experience is that F Pace feels much more solid and less noise overall
Took a SVR for a test ride a few month's ago, I did liked it but the dealer is a little over an hour away. I wanted something a little more 4x4 look so I ordered a Lexus GX.
Oh, the new GX is a very cool looking unit and almost feels like a Land Rover Defender, with a lot more reliability.
Great review. I saw the SVR one by throttle house but wanted to see a more general one about other trims and engines. You didn't disappoint. How are you getting your hands on these cars to review them?
More to come! Thanks for watching. I have friends in places, dealers, rentals, and owners reaching out to review their personal cars.
Very well put together and explained like it .
Thank you kindly!
Hello Mark, here supporting this channel of yours now too. 😊
Awesome thank you! Welcome and I appreciate that. Cheers.
@@ExoticCarPlayplace You’re welcome, I appreciate your hard work making the videos and content.
Thank you very much. Thanks for the support. It means a lot. Have a great week.
Hi Mark !! Kick ase buddy. Great stuff. Caddy guy myself
Awesome thanks. I appreciate that. There are some great Caddies available.
So is the modern jag worth it? I was told you have to turn off start stop each time you start up, is that true?
I believe they are worth in especially in the upgraded drivetrains. Avoid the base engines and the start stop yes ypu have to turn off each time you use the vehicle but thats how most vehicles are
Like They say in the UK, Good Show. F-Pace is a Poor Man Range Rover Sport, I Love It.
I love it too. Beautiful ride
@@ExoticCarPlayplace Touche' (smile)
The range rover sport is a bigger car. The f pace sits between a Range Rover evoke and velar
Yes indeed
Great info. & Videos as usual
I appreciate that. Hope your week is going great too. Cheers
What about the reliability and the engine quality? I’m looking for a used 2023 model but I guess it would still have warranty just in case?
Warranty is best and the base 4 cyl ingenium feels a little fragile and I would recommend going to 6 cyl
Yeah, Jaguar's Latest SVRs Are The Only Models I'd "F" With. UnLike Its Cousin Range Rover, Jaguar Has Definitely Stepped Up Its Quality Game !! 😎👍💯
They are so much nicer now, especially interior and tech.
Just came over from your Ecpp channel.@@ExoticCarPlayplace
It's built in the land rover factory 😂
SAME POSITIVE REVIEW FOR 550HP SVR ??
The SVR has 575 HP, while the R, which has a review here too, has the 550 and indeed I like the way they all drive but the F type is far more electrifying
You remind me of John Travolta with your handsome self 😊. You said the engine in the 4 cylinder feels fragile so you don’t recommend?
We liked the older diesel and the gas 6 cylinder units are the sweet spot
I’m a Jeep guy but not impressed with the quality lately. Compared
2022 Jeep 392 vs. 2022 Jaguar F-pace SVR. WOW Same used price. 🤔
Yes the F Pace is a nice buy and decent finishing, especially in the facelift versions
Supercharged V6 ?
The older model had a supercharged V6, but the latest has an inline 6 and a little hybrid push
@@ExoticCarPlayplace yes I know
@@ExoticCarPlayplace how is the supercharged v6? reliable?
Ever hear of a CTS V ?? Review ???
That’s a n awesome cat and essentially a corvette dressed in a business suit. I can check around to see about finding one. Cheers
If I was a young man,yup😊👍🏿
They are a nice car thats easy to live with

Maybe that car was broken because any SVR or Ts I drove would eat up the M3 or M4s
