I love Zinogre to death but yeah he's already been in two games back to back. Time to let other monsters shine. If Lunagaron made a return I would not be opposed
@SifGreyfang I would love to see Lunagaron come back. I feel like he got shafted. As much as I love Malzeno (such a peak fight). I wouldn't mind Garangolm coming back too.
Zinogre also needs a vacation. Rajang, and Zinogre were around for about as many games. Rajang missed third gen, and Zin was introduced, but then both were in gen 4, and gen 5.
This is a great point that I didnt really think off, having only come from world and rise I havent had the joy of a long lost monster returning. This would be especially important for elder dragons IMO, elders should become more of a spectacle, a true "oh shit" moment, not just another hunt!
That’s why I hope to see more returning monsters that were NOT in World and Iceborne. I’m glad we got kutku and congalala back. I’d love to see Lao Shan Lung and Jhen Moran reworked
Thats what i liked about base Rise pre TUs, the only EDs back then where Ibushi and Narwa, Ibushi was Rampage exclusive(before Event Quest Ibushi) and Narwa was the Final boss.
As a 5th Fleeter i also really don't mind having non of the new world Monsters. I really want to either see the old ones people were talking about back or entirely new
When you think how many iconic new monsters were introduced in 3rd gen, it's disappointing that since then people seem to expect monsters to return to the mainline games, rather than embrace a new roster.
I have to agree rajang is like the rathalos or the rathian or deviljojo or tigrex or nargacuga or barioth or zinogre(well you guys get the point),they just appear everywhere
People like red fire-breathing dragons. Ratholos is a great monster regardless, and if you exclude him, you'd also have to exclude Rathian. That won't fly.
Well apart from Rathalos being the poster boy of Monster hunter, I gave many reasons why giving a cool monster like Rajang a break is important. Not only for being call but also because he's seen as a special monster. The more often you bring those type of monsters, the less special they'll be. Also the more you fight him game after game the easier he'll be in comparison to a new monster who is just as difficult.
I feel rathalos being in every game is very fair not only because he's the poster boy for the whole franchise, but because he and rathian teach a not about how hunting works, rathalos is probably the first monster you will fight that stays in the air for a long time, and also the first one that has more control over his element, and has a pretty important breakable part, I'm not saying these are reasons as to why he should be in every game, they could not put him there and make a another monster that fits that criteria. But he's so iconic that it would be like not putting ryu in a street fighter game
In Wilds the shield clash mechanic could be fun with Rajang. As a lance player it is hard to keep Rajang in front of me, but with the new mechanics I wonder if we will not have this problem as much. I like Rajang a lot, but I will still be happy if they give us different monsters instead.
Here is my reason I don't want rajang in the game: It sucks except for like, 1 and a half games and it looks extremely bland after its redesign in 5th gen so if we need another monkey found later in the game, I'd rather have Blangonga that is both visually and conceptually more intresting, it is just downed by his unupdated 2nd gen fight I wouldn't *mind* seeing it back though, it is just that there like, 30ish monsters I'd like to see back more, and an updated Blangonga especially can flat out replace it and I wouldn't mind
Hmm... for invader monsters, they did include a new pack mechanic, so it'd be really cool if you were fighting with a big monster like Diablos, then when the Diablos is weakened a pack of Cephadrome invade to try and catch a weakened hunter and monster off guard? Or any smaller/weaker kind of monster to give them more spotlight in higher rank things?
Agree with this 100%. Monsters need to take breaks once in a while no matter how popular they are. It's a chance for people to unlearn them a little so that they can have a bigger impact after taking a break. It also gives other monsters a chance to shine and become new fan favourites, from classic monsters to brand new monsters. Imagine Lagiacrus, Gobul, Tetsucabra and Nerscilla coming back, and one of them or their variant becoming the new wall due to their rework into the modern generation? Imagine arguing whether Drilltusk Tetsucabra or Raging Rajang deserves the title of the most brutal wall for the game after Wilds? The benefits of letting monsters rest for a generation and having another take up the challenge is limited only by Capcom's ability to build up another monster to similar heights, something they've proven time and time again to do. I mean, I remember when Barioth came back in Iceborne, and how people ranted so much about that sudden wall showing up (though admittedly that was two generations after its break from 4U). And personally, it was even more eventful since I was itching to get my revenge back from when it kicked my ass in Tri and didn't get a rematch in 4U (and skipping out on GU because I played Gen instead), I was personally so hyped for the fight when I discovered it was in Iceborne. This sentiment I imagine so many people would have for Rajang if it skips a generation. Not to mention all the people who wonder what's up with this stupid ape and why people are so hyped over it because it didn't show up in their first monster hunter. The only exception to this I'd say would be Rathian and Rathalos. They're like vanilla and chocolate, and it's more weird for them to be missing in any entry.
You're right I think Rathian and Rathalos are the only two that should be in everything, apart from those, other monsters time to time should have breaks. Thanks for the interesting read.
I more wish that the game dint bring all of the darn versions of each monster and focus on bringing one that we haven't seen in a while, even though Rajang is a pain and I would not mind not seeing him (also I never liked his armors) I think he is inevitable to be added.
Rajang is one of the handful of monsters that I’d like to see take a break. Maybe even be a once in a generation challenge. I’d like to see new monsters take rajang’s niche for a game or two, or even just new monkey monsters and updated returning ones. The new volcano zone monkey might be the new rajang for me. It just seems like an evolution of rajang’s concept, with maybe less of the invader mechanic and elder smashing power-level but in return a cooler power (imo), a fight with more environmental interaction, and more well-adapted to its home within the volcanic zone (yes I know rajang is often depicted as nomadic but you can’t deny its affinity for volcanic zones). While rajang I think is a fine design, and its iceborne iteration among my favorite 5th gen fights, I also don’t like rajang as much as everyone else does, so I wouldn’t mind rajang taking a well-earned vacation.
Tbh there are a lot of people in the comments who also don't like Rajang, I'm surprised, I thought everyone loved him, looks like I was wrong. Thanks for the great comment.
Totally agree with this. I hate so few monsters so generally I don't have strong feelings on who returns and who doesn't except for a handful of monsters. Gen 3 was my first game so ofc I want Lagi back, and the fact that Great Jaggi got shafted out of RiseBreak but it had Jaggi/Jaggia AND the other Greats was like a punch in my metaphorical balls, so I think he deserves a comeback. Qurupeco is also on my list, he's such an interesting monster design and concept wise. I would be over the moon if Khezu and his adorable smile returned in 4k HD since he's my favorite monster, but since he was in Rise and other previous games I understand why people wouldn't want him back. I absolutely despise Gigginox, Volvidon, and the Piscine Wyvern gang and will be more than happy to never see them again. Give me a new Piscine that doesn't make me want to shit my pants on command, please.
We're both 3rd fleeters, good to see. Yea it's been awhile since Quru has been in, so I agree. Those monsters they haven't been highlighted much should in my opinion get the focus, and not on ones we've seen over and over. There's only so many times I can hunt a Zinogre and be happy about that.
@@NovaBushido I know they're not large monsters, but I'd also like to see a reference of Cha-Cha and Kayamba in some way. Doesn't have to be anything grand, but like a small easter egg of the little guys would warm my heart :')
I feel the same about Nargacuga, tigrex, diablos, and zinogre. They've started to seem obligatory to me, make new monsters or bring back ones we haven't seen in a long time.
me:rajang is in every game since his introduction and i think if we make him sit one game out we could get a new menace of a monster people : SO YOU HATE RAJANG me:no i just want him to skip a game so we get a new asshole anihilator . INFACT I SAY WE SHOULD HAVE AS LITTLE RETURNING MONSTERS IN WILD AS POSIBLE
@lubbo5261 and that makes sense IT introduced a new demon So why cant IT hapoend again Why cant we drop bazel, deviljho and rajang do we get a new ass destroyer
Yep that's basically people's mind set, they jump to those conclusions often. Even more so when people are so passionate about their game, any negative thing you could say may be seen in a bad light. It's kinda annoying, but such is life.
Rajang is great, important for the series, which is why I say he needs a break. Let me know what you guys think about the video. Also sorry the video was meant to be yesterday, but as you'll soon find out, whenever I say a video is delayed, it's 99% because I got too excited and couldn't help but add in a lot of edits.
I feel like Capcom is more focused on new monsters and sprinkling some old ones into the mix (rathian rathalos) i think they do this because it will feel like we are in a NEW world because there are less old monsters and plenty of new ones that we are discovering that have learned to adapt and live in all the new ecosystems. Needa give our monke man a break.
I want another tiger inspired monster. I want one that is an invader. His main thing is that he can absorb elements. So, his attack patterns change slightly depending on the element. And as the hunter, you can knock it out of him. Forcing him to adapt to the situation.
Yo, I might actually have an idea on who could be the invader mobster in Wilds. This just clicked with me, but judging by what we’ve seen so far, Arkveld is going around and tussling with the apexes of each region. Which got me thinking, what if he is an invader monster? A flagship with an invader role? Not completely impossible. Or maybe he could be like a pseudo invader, where he only invades if you’re fighting an apex monster. That would be sick I think.
i'm a big rajang fan, but i gotta agree with you on this one, just because people like him that doesn't mean he has to be recycled in every game, same with zinogre, like they're cool n all, but they take up spots that could be replaced with just as cool monsters or something new. Like at this point i'd rather see a PukeiPukei varient that's just as strong as rajang then base rajang itself
Bringing back a monster without the base form sounds like a terrible idea to me. CG valtrax doesnt count cause lets be honest, he’s literally just regular valstrax but occasionally gets a little red in his wings.
He hovers, and can use moves from the air unlike the regular. That ends a decent amount different into the fight. It's similar to the differences between Rajang and Furious, there isn't too much different between them. But I can understand people having this opinion.
@@NovaBushido yet, he gives the same armour and weapons with no visual difference unlike every other varient in the series. Also Crimson glow, outside of the wings occasionally charging up looks identical to normal valstax where as savage, furious, seething or shrieking have much more distinct visual differences with furious probably looking the most similar to its base form.
@@comaloma that is true, we don't know what capcom would have done if they just added the regular instead. They could have easiest done that right? If they are legit the same, in their eyes as you say. There 0 reason to change the name, yet they did, why? Something we'll need to think about but i think just on top of my head it makes sense that Capcom themselves, don't see them as the same monster.
I mean... From the Evolution of Hunters through the Ages, they really made their move and technique even more Efficient since Worlds and Rise. They are Faster, Quicker, and Stronger on doing movesets. Rajangs reason of why it was pain in the arse to deal with in Worlds (not counting Rise since ape are Nerfed there) was because we can't Spam LS S.sheath, Less weapon dash move with DB and LS, can't Parry attacks with weapons other than Lance, and Hunters doesn't have more powerful enggineering over their Ranged arsenal. Im sure Rajang's arrival would not be a problem with 6th Gen hunters and their powerfull skills
I hope they bring Lagiacrus back and probably wouldn't happen. but abyssal too never fought him but he looks super cool. One monster that I hope makes its way over to mainline is kurusupesu I think how its spelled from frontier is added in some mainline game
If they do bring back Bazel for this one, I hope he’s back to his full invader glory. I am however very open to having brand new invader monsters. Having played none of the games that feature Monoblos, I would love for that monster to make an appearance soon.
yeah, i could go for rajang not being in a game for once, theres a lot of talk to be had about it. i'd love to see gigginox back but theres no way they're ditching khezu if they want a cave wyvern.
At this point I feel rajang is part of what I call the core cast, at this point rathian, rathalos, diablos, Tigrex, nargacuga, Barioth, zinogre, brachydios, deviljho, Bazelgeuse, Kirin, kushala daora, teostra, Chemelos and nergigante have become the monsters you can expect to be in every game which I'm not mad at but I think we need to new Intresting map biomes to get new Intresting maps Also the Monoblos Invader idea doesn't work due to his ecology as he's a desert animal only
I hope he gets a break too, and maybe they could bring back somebody like Blangonga and really dial him up in some unique ways. The buff and super buff body layered armors are very popular. They always have them tied to Rajang event quests, so he may never get a break unfortunately. 🤷
I can say i dont eant him in base game but in dlc as otherwise we gonna have same sytuation like rise that they put him on low rank and he had to be heavly nerfed so new comers would not strugle with him and if he will be master rank exclusive im sure he would be again like in iceborne
If on rajang give bazlgeese best invading monster wait and devljo cool 2nd like them both but feel like rise neaf rajang is why most people don't wont to see him in wilds i remember world he was a tyrant.
I love Rajang. Though I have to agree here with this one for wilds. Rajang was in the last two games, if he was in wilds, okay that's fine, but I'll take Deviljho for wilds cause I think Jho would be hilariously fun again.
Personally, if he have his comeback, it needs balance. There's nothing like rajang in world, he's unmatched. Even jho, who always has been a real reaper, can't do with monkey. In another hand, in rise, he's ridiculous, even the furious one.
I'm with you my dude. If they were in both World/Iceborne and Rise/Sunbreak I've fought them enough for now. Give them a rest and bring out something new or bring back something old that wasn't in Gen 5.
I love Rajang, but I think I've seen him a bit too often at this point. If they want to bring back Rajang, I want a new variant that hasn't existed yet, with a different elemental twist. I do love the fire Rajang idea, aka the Voljang route, but Sunbreak made me a bit sick of fire-based subspecies to be honest. Could definitely see a blast Rajang happening though. Much rather than that though, I'd like a new monster to take up the mantle of the wall for Wilds. I will just throw my hat in that ring and present to you a monster I have designed some months ago when I was bored, as well as a variant for him following after that. Warning, two really long paragraphs incoming: Babiros (a name I came up with off of the name of the babirusa, a kind of hog known for its distinct tusks, which are known for their constant growth and can, on rare occasions, grow and curve until they pierce the individual's own skull if not frequently filed down) is a primarily bipedal fanged beast with a very bulky frame, featuring extremely long pronounced tusks, the head and legs of a boar and ape-like arms. The babiros lives primarily in swamps or near rivers, as their internal body heat is exceptionally high and rolling in water and mud helps them with maintaining a stable temperature. However, on rare occasions, they can also be found in other ecosystems, as long as some source of water is present. Their saliva contains combustible mineral compounds and quickly solidifies into a brittle substance in contact with air. This saliva also partially coats their tusks, which are sharpened into blade-like upward-pointing fangs by constant grinding on trees, rocks and the ground. In combat, a babiros attacks with fists, but also with its jaws, as the sharp tusks can cause severe bleeding. When enraged, they break off one of their tusks as their body heat rises dramatically, alighting its salivatory glands and allowing it to spit flaming sprays and blobs at opponents. In this state, they also wield the broken-off tusk in both hands like a greatsword and can scrape it along the ground to leave trails of combustible material with which to trap and hamper opponents. The tusks of a babiros grow very quickly, so unless forcefully knocked out of its rage, its broken tusk typically regrows by the time its anger is quelled. As such, hunters are advised to stop the frenzy of an enraged babiros as quickly as possible, as this will delay it from re-entering this state for a longer time than if one were to simply wait for its anger to subside. Despite what any common hunter might think, due to their high temperature and reliance on water for cooling, babiros are highly water- and ice-resistant and actually weak to fire from outside sources. Still, bringing water- or ice-based weaponry can prove valuable, as these monsters have been reported to be more easily coaxed out of their rage through use of these elements. There are cases where, due to rare birth defects or prolonged inability to grind their tusks properly, some babiros' tusks grow too thick and solid to be filed down as needed. The tusks will nick and splinter in places, but never truly reduce in size, pressing tightly against the skull, and in broken places, further branches will grow forth until the tusks loosely resemble antlers. The pressure to forcefully stunt the growth of their tusks drives these individuals into a constant maddened lust for violence, in desperate hopes that a particularly challenging fight will shatter their tusks and save them in time. This is a variant known as the wrathful babiros. Their body temperature is constantly at record heights, granting them permanent access to flame-based spit attacks, and they are known to attack with their jaws significantly more, even slamming, tearing and bashing their tusks into the environment and whatever opponents they can find. When these individuals are out of their depth, their anger and despair skyrockets yet further, causing them to grasp at their tusks in failed attempts to rip them off as their saliva foams up and over them as well as their hands, explosively alighting both. Lobbing large detonating balls of burning matter, leaving continually flaming trails whereever their tusks make contact and unleashing hailstorms of flame and tooth while continuing their assault with heightened speed and reckless abandon, these beasts are truly formidable adversaries. Their tusks will not break unless the monster itself is on its last legs, in fact all but the sharpest weapons will bounce off harmlessly and unless attacks were focused there for a prolonged amount of time, the monster will be slain before this occurs, but should one manage to break them away, the babiros will immediately grab both tusks and flee. If this happens, it will act peaceful from here on, not attacking unless provoked. Should one attack, however, the babiros will immediately continue its assault, battering all foes by wielding both of its tusks at them without relenting for even a moment until slain or left alone. Though this is the peak of a babiros' fighting prowess, slaying one in this state is the only known method of obtaining the material component dubbed the "wrath-blackened greattusk", a vital component in the forging of all weapons and some armor pieces that are made from wrathful babiros parts.
Wow you really thought about all of this, you know so much about ecology and the animal world. The babiros monster you talk about is a very intelligent monster, and I'm all for is. A water/ice monster will be very welcomed.
Not to mention the devs have stated that Wild's base game will not featuer any monsters that were in gen 5, so Rajang would only be viable for a title update
@NovaBushido one of the developers interviews from a few weeks ago, if I recall correctly. Though I can't find it on the official channel, so do take it with a grain of salt! Would be cool tho, I would love to see some old gen monster for the first time over the usual 5th gen cast
i'd prefer a new title with only new monsters ngl, and so far all the new large monsters revealed are incredible. rey dau is literally flagship material; "ITS NOT THE FLAGSHIP? THEN HOW GOOD WILL THE ACTUAL FLAGSHIP BE?"
i want rajang because hes jacked super saiyan gorilla and hes my favorite monster lol. tbh tho i dont feel too strongly about it, the game being fun and enjoyable is way more important
He hates me and I hate him and we hate each other, if we never again fight till the day I die, it will be too soon. He has hated me since the moment he first layed eyes on me. Me personally. He hates me personally.
Haha tbh going back to world for me was pretty hard, i would prefer to play Wilds atm. If you didn't get to fight him in World then I get you wanting him for Wilds. Did you fight him in Rise?
I currently feel the same. Don't get me wrong, as much as I love the golden super Saiyan monkey, it can't be denied that Rajang has overstayed his welcome. Since Wilds is giving a larger focus to Apex monsters, potentially even shafting Elder Dragons, this pays the way to creating more monsters just as powerful as Rajang or Elders, but not being classified as Elders. Does this mean I want invaders to return? Depends. Rajang? No. He was in 3 games, he can very happily sit Wilds out. Deviljho would be very amazing, but I want Wilds to spice his mechanics and not have it be a copy and paste. Bazelguese? Bazel would very much surprisingly fit into Wilds, and not Rise Bazel, I want World Bazel. The Bazel that would actively seek out monsters and "invade". Maybe even expanded upon. How cool would it be that Bazel would actively cause a stampede of monsters? Bazel would fit imo in Wilds. Rajang please don't come back, and Deviljho is 50/50. I want the pickle, but he needs some changes to feel appropriate for Wilds.
It's sad in a way even if you like something you need to explain in quite detail as there are some really passionate people in the fandon who don't want to hear things they don't like. I hope people can open up more to being fine with hearing opinions that don't align with their own. Anyway it would be nice if each apex feels like a beast in their own right, and not just a monster you gotta get through. Let's hope for the best.
His mistake was trying to get up. If you have a shield, that pin follow up is nothing, even if he's enraged/faster, because you can block from it faster than you can get up and move. World had a better base rajang, because he was master rank and had some stuff unique ot that game. Rise had a better furious rajang. Because they; added some really cool new moves, kept his iceborne moves, and readded a couple from the old games... Sadly not the tripple ball bounce that could change targets with every bounce if he wanted to. That combo was not in 5th gen at all. HD does not matter. What does matter is animations/skeletons. It's the same engine as Rise so, with mods, we're getting every Rise monster anyway. New experiences are nice but you have to remember that, for most players, old (pre 5th gen) is actually new. Yes, for returning monsters, reviving long lost monsters should be priority. Gigginox please! He's been gone since MH3U! A wall can means many things, for many players. It can be a difficulty spice, at any pone in the game, or something like your first bad match up for your preferred weapon. Invaders kind of have to be in more maps and monoblos is very stuck in the desert. I do want him back, don't get the wrong, I just want him to shine as the first digging/flying monster. I do adore the digging invader idea though, maybe that could be the next new invader monster. Imagine an invader that operates as a herd, causing chaos all over the map, if you try to separate them. I would adore if if we got qurupeco again and had him, once again, introduce us to a new invader. Give the 6th fleet that kind of 3rd fleet trauma lmao. Having a variant without the base version sucks, makes you question the value of that variant the entire time. How much of this is because it's the variant and how much is because he's in this game? If they're both in, the team has to flesh them out and make each stand out more, from one another.
Its time for some newer monsters to shine and gather a reputation for themselves. We got a new flagship and new apexes so I hope we get a new invader monster too. Bazel, jho and jang can sit this one out and let someone new fill that position. (for now)
Lowkey hoping Rajang makes it ngl….. BUT with a balance of tempo between World and Rise jang. Fuckin hell, world jang is literally just fly swatting simulator in multiplayer and Rise jang is way too tame for that game’s tempo. Feels like Capcom misplaced the 2 iterations cause world jang being so sugar overloaded fits Rise while Rise jang having a hangover fits World.
Hey Nova If you don't mind, I'd like to recommend trying out Kena Bridge of Spirits. Specifically on the master /hardest difficulty setting. Coming from MH it is a very fun combat type of game😁
Hey Meekkat! I'll give it a look, there's soo many games I've bought and haven't played yet so no promises, but I remember this game coming out abit ago, looked pretty nice.
I love Rajang, but he's Majima and is LITERALLY EVERYWHERE. How about bringing back some MHU4 monsters, or giving us Misutzune in a high res Monster Hunter game like we wanted in MHW?
As much as I love some of them, I think any monster that was in both Worldborne, and Risebreak should not be in Wilds, and a few from Risebreak as that was the latest anyway.
The only reason i *WOULD* want Rajang in Wilds is to have a turf war with Ajarakan. And I'm immediately gonna retcon that statement because Ajarakan is infinitely better. That gameplay was crisp.
He's the monkey you love to hate... Sure he's awesome, and knocks skulls in every Turf War matchup, but holy crap I hate hearing that music cue up as I'm hunting some other creature.
@@NovaBushido It's not the music that's the problem... It's the knowledge that the music brings, that my easy investigation is about to get interesting.
Rajang should stay in Wilds, what we need is more invader type monsters. Deviljho, bazelgeuse and valtrax are awesome but we need more chaos to the hunts, also i think rajang spawns little bit too much in Iceborne. Banbaro is an invader but... Yeah no.
Imo, I just feel like rajang wouldn't fit wilds because it doesn't really fit the more grounded ecology centered setting wilds is going for Like imagine watching a nature documentary and then goku suddenly pops up
I think fighting the rajang is fun. But yeah he needs to retire. Id like to see new monsters. Or maybe different old monsters returning besides rajang everytime
I first was on the fence of instinctively disliking the video, because MONKE. Then again, I see your points. Good video. Personally, I‘d wish we‘d get more Frontier monsters since Espinas essentially opened Pandora‘s Box. I will die on the hill that we need Harudomerugu, my favorite monster of all time, and Inagami… First is unrealistic, the latter should‘ve been added with Sunbreak. Alas, we‘ll see.
Honestly, I also don't want rajang, I love the fight, love how he looks, but I feel like he's in too many games, and he isn't teaching any specific thing like rathalos to justify being there over and over again, same thing with zinogre.
@ true, it genuinely baffles me as to how he is so popular, his fight is so boring imo, I guess people like the design of the wolf monster, but lunagaron does that same idea but just better.
lmao a lot of people say that, and I get that. Although it's the most popular monster, I don't think Capcom could handle the smoke if he doesn't come back.
This is how I feel about Zinogre. I really don't mind him sitting one out.
You would hate r/monsterhunterleaks
@comaloma Trust me buddy. Trust.
@@comaloma I'd appreciate if you stop saying that, it indirectly tells us about leaks.
Let rajang eat an oroshi kirin horn and become a super saiyan blue ice rajang
Haha I saw someone say this, that would be funny to see.
hell yeah oroshi rajang
What if he becomes zen rajang and sits and like floats a little and uses ice as attacks
@NovaBushido kinda want to see it do the iced arm thing like Goss Harag for the punches and slams
hold up you might be cooking here. My problem is they might see this and create it then he'll be cooking us.
You dont want Rajang to give other monsters a chance. I dont want Rajang because of an instinctual FEAR as a Kirin Girl. We are not the same. XD
🤣 Apparently we're not.
Don't worry, in Rise Rajang was there and Kirin wasn't, so if Rajang gets into wilds maybe Kirin will sit it out again? :D lol
Zinogre also needs a vacation. Rajang, and Zinogre were around for about as many games. Rajang missed third gen, and Zin was introduced, but then both were in gen 4, and gen 5.
Lightning bros are riding together now.
Agree
..... i miss najarala
He was a great monster.
I hope Rajang comes back but his base form is as hard as Tempered Furious Rajang 🤌🔥
YES!!
My counter Thesis, titled "Why I Want Rajang in Monster Hunter Wilds":
-Mmm... Monke.
Thanks for listening to my Tedtalk.

👏👏
Hear me out, blangonga.
This is a great point that I didnt really think off, having only come from world and rise I havent had the joy of a long lost monster returning.
This would be especially important for elder dragons IMO, elders should become more of a spectacle, a true "oh shit" moment, not just another hunt!
You're right, recently many monsters are moving along while there are so many left they could use from that would excite many fans i'm sure.

Excited for the Congalala for this reason
When you think how many iconic new monsters were introduced in 3rd gen, it's disappointing that since then people seem to expect monsters to return to the mainline games, rather than embrace a new roster.
Thats true, 3rd gen added so many gems, I want many of them back.
Here's what I don't want, I don't want Ratholos, or Rathian or any variant of those. Enough is enough, give them a breather.
LOL people will for sure come for you if you say no more raths.
the community is Rathful towards you now.
In some strange technicality rajang is also a tech monster, as players have to learn and understand the multiple rage state mechanics
I have to agree rajang is like the rathalos or the rathian or deviljojo or tigrex or nargacuga or barioth or zinogre(well you guys get the point),they just appear everywhere
always call the cool monster to rest, but they never say: "Hey, rathalos is in EVERY SINGLE FUCKING GAME SINCE GEN 1"
He's the pikachu of monster hunter, it'd be strange to see him sit a game out
People like red fire-breathing dragons.
That is trueee, also I'm a lance user too. Could be fun to see what clashes they'd make up with him.
Here me out super sayian god super rajang that’s has fur that turns blue while power up and has blue lighting attacks just like kirin
Bro I wanted to make that joke, but skipped it, glad you said it for us.
Super rajang god super rajang seems like a great idea
Here is my reason I don't want rajang in the game:
It sucks except for like, 1 and a half games and it looks extremely bland after its redesign in 5th gen so if we need another monkey found later in the game, I'd rather have Blangonga that is both visually and conceptually more intresting, it is just downed by his unupdated 2nd gen fight
I wouldn't *mind* seeing it back though, it is just that there like, 30ish monsters I'd like to see back more, and an updated Blangonga especially can flat out replace it and I wouldn't mind
You would love r/monsterhunterleaks
Rajang only sucks in risebreak u sucj
Hmm... for invader monsters, they did include a new pack mechanic, so it'd be really cool if you were fighting with a big monster like Diablos, then when the Diablos is weakened a pack of Cephadrome invade to try and catch a weakened hunter and monster off guard?
You're probably right on that :/, I suppose we'll have to wait and see.
They've started to seem obligatory to me, make new monsters or bring back ones we haven't seen in a long time.
me:rajang is in every game since his introduction and i think if we make him sit one game out we could get a new menace of a monster
people : SO YOU HATE RAJANG
me:no i just want him to skip a game so we get a new asshole anihilator . INFACT I SAY WE SHOULD HAVE AS LITTLE RETURNING MONSTERS IN WILD AS POSIBLE
Actually he did skip Gen 3
Edit: The Gen that introduced Deviljho
@lubbo5261 and that makes sense IT introduced a new demon
So why cant IT hapoend again
Why cant we drop bazel, deviljho and rajang do we get a new ass destroyer
Yep that's basically people's mind set, they jump to those conclusions often. Even more so when people are so passionate about their game, any negative thing you could say may be seen in a bad light. It's kinda annoying, but such is life.
Rajang is great, important for the series, which is why I say he needs a break. Let me know what you guys think about the video.
Also sorry the video was meant to be yesterday, but as you'll soon find out, whenever I say a video is delayed, it's 99% because I got too excited and couldn't help but add in a lot of edits.
There are only 2 reasons I want Rajang in Wilds: Buff Armor, and the dual monkey arena quest was my warmup in Iceborne.
Do we think it’s reasonable for more Frontier monsters in Wilds? Given we got Espinas in Rise!?
I think it's possible!
I’m all Rajanged out bro
rajang and zinogre both
A lot of people are saying that. Nargacuga, Tigrex, those boys don't know how to stay down.
I think he deserves a break too. I'd love a new mon that test skill checks. Especially with how Wilds combat is shaping up.
Let's hope we see something soon!
So far from the reveals that is, we don't know what they have planed overall. But I do hope that is the case!
Thanks Microwave, glad me and you are on the same page.
Edit: Also interesting pick for pukeipukei to be the one to get a variant haha.
@comaloma Last I checked regular valstrax doesn't use a friggin final flash.
Abyssal can only come back if we have underwater, the lore around him is he's normally found in deep waters. I would love that tbh.
True it sucks I'm gonna have to get myself a console to play tri and some older games
If they do bring back Bazel for this one, I hope he’s back to his full invader glory. I am however very open to having brand new invader monsters. Having played none of the games that feature Monoblos, I would love for that monster to make an appearance soon.
rise demo magna fight was hard and fun as hell im sad they removed it from steam 😢
That's too bad.
Honestly, doshaguma kicked my ass a lil bit. Imagine the difficulty checks this game will have (hopefully) with a a new monster
Doshaguma has some weird telegraphed moves, like he hits when he doesn't look like he's going to, he's strange.
yeah, i could go for rajang not being in a game for once, theres a lot of talk to be had about it.
i'd love to see gigginox back but theres no way they're ditching khezu if they want a cave wyvern.
At this point I feel rajang is part of what I call the core cast, at this point rathian, rathalos, diablos, Tigrex, nargacuga, Barioth, zinogre, brachydios, deviljho, Bazelgeuse, Kirin, kushala daora, teostra, Chemelos and nergigante have become the monsters you can expect to be in every game which I'm not mad at but I think we need to new Intresting map biomes to get new Intresting maps
Also the Monoblos Invader idea doesn't work due to his ecology as he's a desert animal only
can't wait for super Saiyan blue Rajang 🔥
SSGSS is coming my guy
I actually wanted it to be included in Wilds. Solely because I want to see turf war between monkes
I hope he gets a break too, and maybe they could bring back somebody like Blangonga and really dial him up in some unique ways. The buff and super buff body layered armors are very popular. They always have them tied to Rajang event quests, so he may never get a break unfortunately. 🤷
I have similar thoughts where I’d like Diablos to sit out for a while and let Monoblos come back.
All I have to say is... AjaRAJANG XD
He is MONKE but is he the MONKE, we'll have to wait and see.
What I mean by that is will he be difficult, who knows.
You know a monster is tuff when you react like you got hit in real life.
Agreed but then I’ll miss out new fire monkey vs super sayian monkey
Hmm truee, I never thought that fair ahead. That might be something I'd want to witness...
I don't mind seeing Rajamg again, but if he gets benched for someone else, I would bring out the welcome cake!
I understand the point also about zinogre but I’m a Hbg player and those weapon are both lit af
I can say i dont eant him in base game but in dlc as otherwise we gonna have same sytuation like rise that they put him on low rank and he had to be heavly nerfed so new comers would not strugle with him and if he will be master rank exclusive im sure he would be again like in iceborne
They should make a monster that hunts you as your hunting a different monster like the hunter becomes the hunted
I going be that guy and say we better get Rajang in Wilds hahaha
Be that guy! If you want him that's all fine, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
If on rajang give bazlgeese best invading monster wait and devljo cool 2nd like them both but feel like rise neaf rajang is why most people don't wont to see him in wilds i remember world he was a tyrant.
Im bad at grammar my bad
Don’t worry, I’m there with you I like Raja as well he’s a really cool monster I’m just tired of having to fight him he’s always a pain in the neck
At least I'm not alone on this
I'm with you my dude.
Warning, two really long paragraphs incoming:
Babiros (a name I came up with off of the name of the babirusa, a kind of hog known for its distinct tusks, which are known for their constant growth and can, on rare occasions, grow and curve until they pierce the individual's own skull if not frequently filed down) is a primarily bipedal fanged beast with a very bulky frame, featuring extremely long pronounced tusks, the head and legs of a boar and ape-like arms.
I miss Lagiacrus and Qurupeco and Jhen Moran
A rajang variant would be awesome
Same, im sick of rajang and zinogre too, but zinogre is probably coming because people just LOOOOOVE him so much.
I think Capcom should do a mix of things
Not to mention the devs have stated that Wild's base game will not featuer any monsters that were in gen 5, so Rajang would only be viable for a title update
Did they really say that? Haven't heard of that, got any sources?
LOL that's a fair relationship to have.
I understand. He's been quite redundant lately. But I need my boxing glove dual blades man how else am I gonna throw hands with the monsters😭😭😭
I never fought him in world so if he was in wilds I'd definitely take him on...I got a taste of wilds I'm never going back to world lol
Haha tbh going back to world for me was pretty hard, i would prefer to play Wilds atm. If you didn't get to fight him in World then I get you wanting him for Wilds.
Did you fight him in Rise?
@NovaBushido no I haven't played any of the monster hunters that are on the handhelds
Wilds: sure, bring back rajang but make it breathe fire
Either way, he'll beat your ass
@ bring on the suffering
Read the title, instant like.
Furious Rajang is a variant so he has one.
What you mean probably is a subspecies actually
I did say i don't mind what form it is, can be anything, but something new would be good.
But his waist piece is awsome😢
You know Maybe a double invading event
Magnamalo and Nergigigante brawling into you while you hunting could be funny 😂
Haha yea it would be.
While I agree to this, I want him to come back to give the new hunters Monkie Trauma
Haha I do understand that.
Hey Nova
If you don't mind, I'd like to recommend trying out Kena Bridge of Spirits.
@NovaBushido
Cool!
I should warn you though. On master difficulty (especially first play through) It's quite intense.
I love Rajang, but he's Majima and is LITERALLY EVERYWHERE. How about bringing back some MHU4 monsters, or giving us Misutzune in a high res Monster Hunter game like we wanted in MHW?
Rajang is one of my favorite Monsters of all time, but i agree he should skip Wilds and make room for other Monsters to shine.
It's kinda obvious that Rajang will be in the game at some point after all his sceleton is alreadyin use
As much as I love some of them, I think any monster that was in both Worldborne, and Risebreak should not be in Wilds, and a few from Risebreak as that was the latest anyway.
Ya, while that’s true, there’s absolutely no way he’s not going to be, with them already having announced two monkey boys. But who knows.
Give me Gogmazios in the Oilwell Basin!
The only reason i *WOULD* want Rajang in Wilds is to have a turf war with Ajarakan. And I'm immediately gonna retcon that statement because Ajarakan is infinitely better. That gameplay was crisp.
I agree more new monsters
He's the monkey you love to hate... Sure he's awesome, and knocks skulls in every Turf War matchup, but holy crap I hate hearing that music cue up as I'm hunting some other creature.
lmao well I'm sorry this video is full of his music.
@@NovaBushido It's not the music that's the problem...
It's the knowledge that the music brings, that my easy investigation is about to get interesting.
I mean am good with Rajang taking a break from wilds.
Rajang should stay in Wilds, what we need is more invader type monsters. Deviljho, bazelgeuse and valtrax are awesome but we need more chaos to the hunts, also i think rajang spawns little bit too much in Iceborne. Banbaro is an invader but... Yeah no.
for the fun of it, i want it back so they can fist fight with the new fire gorilla wahahaha
Imo, I just feel like rajang wouldn't fit wilds because it doesn't really fit the more grounded ecology centered setting wilds is going for
Like imagine watching a nature documentary and then goku suddenly pops up
I think fighting the rajang is fun.
I love wajang ❤
Or they could just pull a Gen Ult and have a ridiculously large cast of monsters
Honestly, I also don't want rajang, I love the fight, love how he looks, but I feel like he's in too many games, and he isn't teaching any specific thing like rathalos to justify being there over and over again, same thing with zinogre.
Also zinogre, I wouldn’t mind never seeing him again.
zinogre absolute snoozer
@ true, it genuinely baffles me as to how he is so popular, his fight is so boring imo, I guess people like the design of the wolf monster, but lunagaron does that same idea but just better.
lmao a lot of people say that, and I get that. Although it's the most popular monster, I don't think Capcom could handle the smoke if he doesn't come back.
@nightrain1121 yeah zoomers love the flashy monsters
@@Adriiell I am a zoomer lol
I don't want these three monsters in Wilds: Rajang, Deviljho, and Paolumu
