Thanks for all of the hard work necessary to make such a superlative video. Camera and drone work were top-notch. The video displayed EVERY ASPECT of what I love about motorcycle camping. You found the perfect spot and chose the perfect time of year. I can REALLY appreciate that there SEEMED to be no one in sight. This is one aspect of camping that is very important for me these days: the solitude and the quiet. I would imagine that the weather was cool enough for you to overnight the eggs and sausage! Cheers!
Thanks for the kind words. Yes this was a great trip, and I literally didn't see another person once I left the pavement. I didn't include it in this video, but I saw a black bear and listened to elk bugle right across the lake just before dusk. It was a great thing to hear as the dusk turned to dark. As far as the food storage goes, yes it was a cool night, so it was perfect keeping the food. The eggs were from my own chicken which is nice because fresh eggs do not actually need to be refrigerated and can last for months so a great thing to pack. For the steak and sausage I have a cooler dry bag that will actually keep ice for nearly 24hrs. Not bad for $30 on amazon. amzn.to/40BTtSb
@@backcountryadvmoto Doesn't get much better regarding the eggs! Noted for the cooler dry bag. I am from Eastern Canada. What neck of the woods was the video made?
Just what I like. An overnight stay with good food, time for reflection and just take it easy. Let the body and mind rest from everyday stress and pressure.
Great video. Damn commercials!! You're like my brother from another mother. A lot of same gear I use. I would have put onions with the eggs and sausage. LOL. Thanks a bunch.
@backcountryadvmoto will do! Thanks man! Not sure if you knew it or not but we now have a small mining claim in Fremont County right on the ID/WY border! Small placer claim but a guaranteed camp spot for when we come out to ride. If you ever find yourself out that way let me know and I can send you a pin. Awesome view of the Tetons and all! Hope to come out this summer and use it as a base camp and explore around some. Got lucky and acquired it from a fellow retiring from mining. I'll give the camera video a watch. Much appreciated!
20,000 on gear not including the bike and luggage 5 dollar fishing rig lol still love the video though keep it up it’s nice to have a no bs video where you get the point
Hahaha truth. I use a cheap rod and real for these trips because they get super grimy from the dust and dirt. Now I do sometime carry a way nicer tenkara fly pole from @tenkararodco and I keep that in my pannier because it breaks down to about 12 inches and it’s carbon fiber. Not as useful in this spot though
I do take precautions. I did see a black bear on the way to camp. Of all the days I’ve camped off the bike in the backcountry I’ve never had any issues with bear. Knock knock 🪵
I like the way you eat when moto camping. I always try to cook something original when camping. Also, curious as to what riding pants you were wearing in the beginning?
You don’t have to eat freeze dried for every meal when out on these trip 👍🏻. Here is a link to the pants I’m wearing moskomoto.com/products/woodsman-ir-enduro-pant-otb?ghref=12956%3A665649

P.S.: Can you furnish specific details (model#, number of individual parts) for the sleep system that you used? I liked the size of it once in the stuff sack. I have a Nemo Equipment that works very well but I am always looking for a way to downsize, especially on a motorcycle!
Just got you buddy 😉 The new pump is nice. Very small and fast. But I prefer the giga pump over this new one. The fact that the giga pump has a light built-in is nice. If you need a new pump, I’ll give you this one. 👍🏻
Awee thanks Buddy 🙏 you had lots of new camping toys in that video. People also want to know - Are you using some kind of Democrat lure or are there no fish in North Idaho?! Need to break out the white sunglasses 😂😂
Exactly why I love moto-camping. Solitude.
100%
Me too!
my favorite videos, no talking...just driving, cooking, camping👍🏻🤙🏻
Thanks, More to come!
Letting nature tell the story - sublime.
You just made me want to ride, eat, and camp. Also hang with you again soon bro. Well done.
That's the goal, inspire others to get out and enjoy the world!
Thanks for all the Veterans who served! Including my dad in the ARMY back in the early 50's👍🇺🇸🙏

ASMR for the moto camper. Including the Sidi squeak 😂
The ZenBivy system is easily the best sleep I've ever had in the backcountry. Great trip, dude.
100% agree. The best and most comfortable sleep system I’ve used

@@backcountryadvmoto beautiful area indeed!
Fantastic video man, very stress free, no lip reading or captions. You can read every emotion you’ve shared, please do more in other travels!
I am glad it was stress free. I am just trying to let the sounds and video do the talking. I’ve got a couple more of these in the queue 👍🏻

Beautiful video. Not a single word spoken.
Thank you! 😃
Beautiful edit, man. Not only that but great job on videography.
Appreciate it. Glad you liked it.
cool Idea. was relaxing to watch!! Love this format!!
I'm working on more of these. Glad you liked it
Squeak squeak squeak! I have the exact same boots and you can always tell I'm coming from a mile away.
Keeps the bears🐻 away 🤣
Lol 😃
Starting to cool off here in northern Alabama, but I think you just convinced me I need to head south and find a beautiful camp site.
Man of few words.
Great video!!
Just letting the sounds and video do the talking 😉
I like it! Your set up gets me thinking of new ideas. My tech 7's squeak, I call them my bear boots. Stay on the throttle.
Yeah they squeak, but I don’t even hear it anymore. This is my second pair. They are a great boot.
Nice job. Beautiful scenery!
It’s a great place to relax

Haha yeah should have saved some. Sorry about the commercials. I wish TH-cam didn’t put so many in these videos
Nice video, big like 🎉
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it
Awesome video and beautiful nature. Love this type of content. Longing for the spring again. Winter is coming in Sweden now. Cheers!
Winter is setting in here too. Im not ready haha.
Peaceful! Great sound quality and videography!! I have the action 4 now and love it. I need to figure out my mic situation and I'll have it!
Check out my previous video on camera gear if you haven’t already. The dji mic2s are worth every penny

fun video. great camera sets. Awesome edits. Where was Landa? I am sure he was fussing at you!
@@soilsmanadv6673 he couldn’t stay quiet enough for these type of videos 😂🤣
Some truly great times getting in touch with God has been solo camping. Although I confess, I had my dog. 😉😆
I've never tried motorcycle camping with a dog, but it sounds like a good time. 😂 Not sure my golden retriever would stay on the back though
Loving the third pannier set up. They really need to make a mounting wedge adapter for the backcountry duffles. Only thing I don't like about them.
I have the duffle as well but I really like this set up. It works great

This was actually NE Washington near the Canadian border
@@backcountryadvmoto what time of year was this taken?

It’s there, just have to be careful what I show in these videos because the YT powers that be can remove or demonetize the video 🙄
