In my experience, a narcissist will pretend like they're so intelligent and once they let that mask off and show their childish traits, they're angry at their enpath for seeming like they have it "together". Then they get paranoid and stock up on new sources of supply in fear that the empath will leave them once they see who they really are.

Narcissists hate what they love about you because they either wish they could be you or greater than you.

Listen to @11:20 folks. Pure gold! That’s why narcs don’t like us. Narcs want us to need them. With intelligence, why would we ever need a narc? Being with a narc is charity work. They’re lucky to get our attention.

Honesty is a standard that requires a conscience , an inner standard. A Narc doesn’t have a clue of what it means to have integrity. a Narc is only being honest to make people think that they are a good person again it’s just a facade

I actually used to have narcissistic traits at first because I was raised by one but thank the Lord I didn't end up being one. But recently I had a narc who I ended up figuring out & he kept trying to Hoover but I ignored him but he kept popping up out the blue & I finally got tired of his games so I through out little jabs to know his mask had slipped & one of the things he kept saying was you want me to bow to you & I don't bow to anybody 💀😒 it didn't hit me until later & I was like that wasn't him talking that was those demons he had attached to him that spoke up because evidently they was able to see the Jesus influence dwelling within me😌💯👏🏾

This resonates! The soon to be ex husband of 20+ years discarded me for the 3rd time at Christmas. Looking back, every time was on the heels of or in the middle of my 1) undergraduate graduation, 2) starting my own business, 3) starting my Master’s degree. Every time, he left for a much younger woman. I was too blind at the time to see what was going on. Unbelievably, I believed the dumb reasons he gave. Regardless of this knowledge, the pain is extreme.

Yep. They will criticize you out of their envy. Even strangers.
They are so dead on the inside that they are for example triggered and annoyed by your lively enthusiastic energy!
And many judges and other professionals in legal systems fall for them or are of the same nature 😔
They can't deal with vulnerability while their job is dealing with precaire huge life issues.
Antisocial are all around us. Cold people. Very judgmental.
They are the leaders in roles preaching about integrity being compliant while insulting and bullying people. Terrible energies I just want to stay far away from them as much as possible.

This has been such an issue in my life. Particularly in groups of women. They drag your name through the gossip mill, turn everything you do or say into some kind of scandal, and try to undermine your success. It's awful. If you could, I would love a video on how to cope with a situation like that. Thank you for making all this information accessible.

Excellent video.. I experienced this with my ex narc manager. He chose to lay me off 3 months after I won top sales rep of the year. He kept another rep who was underperforming and who he would harass and control all the time. He told ppl after I was let go (smear campaign ) that I was more difficult to work with and he never heard from the other rep and he didn’t want to deal with me. He’s insecure and was threatened by my intelligence and success. This video really resonated with me you hit it on the head.

a great example of an intelligent/experienced person in the field being challenged by Narcissists is a show called Kitchen Nightmares. The experienced Gordon Ramsey goes into these dysfunctional restaurants to try to get them back on their feet. It's always a Narc Owner or Chef that is the problem. He quickly assesses the issues of each restaurant, exposing the Narc's flaws. Some of their reactions to Ramsey's critiques are priceless! One of my favorite Ramsey quotes to a Narc: "I've never met anyone...I believe in....as little as you."
In short: Critical thinking skills will take down the Narc in seconds.

On this very subject, I recently had what I hope is my last negative experience with an MD who would not recognize that my expertise on a subject surpassed his. He pretended to be interested as he listened to my revelations but turned his back on me soon after, repelled by what he assumed as a challenge to his superiority. As soon as a Narcissist gets wind that you MUST USURP their authority, or are ahead of them in any way, a Narcissistic injury occurs and the encounter becomes TOXIC as they attack to regain status.

I think not following social constructs and contracts is more subconscious with these people.
The higher level narcs are able to manipulate these constructs around their desires and needs. The lower level narcs lack that awareness due to lack of maturity.
Somebody can be antisocial and not be a narc.
Also, according to Jungian psychology, there are some people who do not value social constructs, and can appear to be aloof.
I think the bigger distinction for narcs is a lack of resciprocity, and " sneak dissing" in relationships with people, even though they talk a good game. Their actions always reveal themselves. But they also still try to keep the facade amongst the group of people.
The degradation and attempts of bringing you down by grooming and negative behaviour shows itself more in personal relationships with people they want supply from. So essentially they try to sling shit at the people they are jealous of by the game of attrition and zero sum( only 1 winner). Game theory applies so well to these suckers. They always are playing the game. We just never knew. Or we let it slide, like I used to.
Great video tho man! I'm always tryna flip the script with these fools.

Being opposed to authorities is not automatically a bad thing and should not be used to identify people with NPD. Rebellious thinking and when necassary rebellious behaviour is what's caused progress throughout history, whereas compliance is a trait that's been responsible for unimaginable oppression and human misery. Bad people tend to seek power and prey on compliant or naive people, as you're obviously aware of.
Also there are loads of people with questionable competence seated in high positions throughout society. Social network is often seen as the nr 1 factor with landing a job, so healthy scepticism is in place when asked to accept something at face value. Lots of people will hide behind or point to their position as proof of their righteousness. This falls into the 'appeal to authority' definition, which is a commonly agreed upon debate fallacy.
Envy of people expanding in life is certainly not a good sign, but it can easily be mislabeled for what's really more or less healthy scepticism: Highly driven, career oriented people often have low to no interest in questioning certain things around them, as it generally takes focus away from succeeding and tend to slow people down. Self centered uncritical thinking seems quite common among career builders, and whether it's fully conscious or not, it's a form of cynicism or indifference that certainly will help pave the way to success.
We shouldn't accept the notion that the culture we live in have the individuals best interests in mind when there's little to no evidence for it. I would say anything beyond shallow altruism is a rare phenomenon among people in higher positions compared to what most people like to believe. But then again mayby I am a narcissist? ;)
These traits CAN undoubtably be signs of an unhealthy ego, deep envy, inferiority complex etc, but painting them as plausible signs of narcissism is potentionally dangerous and counter productive to having a sane, open and functional society where critisism of bad decisions and demand for legitimacy behind the action of our authoritiest is crucial.

its important the point u talked about at the end of the vid, & its a reminder, that ALWAYS will be ppl that r better than some1 in this & this some1 better in other things.
& as a believer i believe that God gave each their tallents. no1 is good at everything (us all not God).
narcs the sub group of cluster b demons think they r God as trying to present themselves as perfect & good at every field & that they r the smartest. & they put others down as part of their need to feel they r superior to others bcs they r insecure creatures.

Thanks for another informative video, knowledge is power. The more you know the more you grow. I never understood why a narcissist would select someone and praise individuals who are less intelligent and less knowledge and experience as I, it all continue to make sense now, because if they can't handle your intellectual, that's when the attacks starts, I.E., smear campaign, no gratitude, disrespectful etc., . The attacks and insults on your integrity is a calculated way to break you down and to get you to denounce your intelligence. God bless you man for sharing your knowledge and wisdom to men and women who are thirsting for the truth. Thanks

You are 100% correct. You are very wise. I fell for this game. Now I know not to be impressed by titles and degrees. Just because people look good on paper does not mean they are good in real every day social interactions. The only way to save yourself is to be careful when dealing with people. Take time to get to know people. The true colors will eventually show. I am careful how I deal with people. I have limited expectations.
