Mom is obsessed with the tiny houses and I just bought a Ford Transit box moving van that I will make into a tiny house. She is happy that she finally get to use her knowledge to make a tiny home. All the favorite vans I have seen have been built by females, males do not make it very home cosy, just practical. I want both :)

The toe kick cabinet drawer is my favorite design element. Excellent idea that I haven't seen anywhere else. Good choice for a propane island also.
Dude, your conversion is the first one that actually makes sense. I have been looking for probably a year and Wayfarer Vans was the best, but you got them beat. Love it.
none of these people make sense. Their huge beds take up 1/2 or more of the space. You only use the thing for 1/3 of the day, the rest of the time its wasting all of your space. And why do you need a huge bed? why not just roll out a piece of foam and sleeping bag and sleep on the floor and roll it back up and stash it away during the day so you can have space? These people are all larpers and dont live in their vans. Its just an excuse to waste a bunch of money. Their vans cost more than a small house in Iowa.

Your design is very close to what I want to do. A few things are different, but that front wall/door and propane/stove cabinet by the front door is spot on to my ideas. Also, I LOOOOVE that sink cabinet and drawers!!
Definitely very skilled craftsman. I subbed during your truck camper build. Good that you and wife are like minded. Very well thought out van build.
Suggestion: Think about cover over wood in back of stove when flipped up for clean-ability and heat reflector. Wipe off is really nice.
@@MoserMakes lost my house, my dog and everything I owned for 58 years in a house fire. That stove made me uncomfortable and I didn’t see a fire extinguisher.

Bingo!! I been watching these Campervan conversion videos for weeks looking for a design that would work for me. I've been considering full size vans, Savanah , Ford E series (most don't have stand up room, and are mostly fuel hogs), ambulance conversions, mini van conversions, off grid all electric etc. etc. This one fits me like a glove - pretty much a full size permanent bed, lots of cupboard, drawer and general storage, plenty of counter space very efficiently thought out, both propane and some solar electric, backsaving stand up headroom, good sized sink, privacy from the cockpit, fairly stealth and incognito, A TOILET, decent fuel economy, and on and on! I just love it - I literally could not have designed a better fit (I'd maybe just add a 50' inch screen)! Now I'm gonna be up all night watching the build videos lol. Super impressed, and stoked that I found your video.
If you'd be kind enough to give me any advice about the Ford Transit ie: best engine, gas or diesel, things to look out for, or any other pointers such as where might be a good place to look for one etc., I'd be most appreciative. Thanks kindly!

This is a beautiful build! You made a lot of smart additions I want to add. A couple are the toe kick area added for storage and bug screens! When inches makes a difference this is genius! And screens are the difference between being able to enjoy the area you’re in or not! New subbie here! Can’t wait to see the rest of the build videos. I also love that muted blue color. Very well thought out and sturdy looking. Love the sink ... most self-built sinks are tiny and/or otherwise functionally terrible IMO, but yours is actually big enough to wash a pot in, and in general wash without splashing all over.

Nice way, to start the video! A lot of van roomtours never give you an overview over the built. I like to know the layout and basic construction (and preferably the measurements of the van) before I look at the details.

VERY practical build with a certain elegant simplicity for the 3 most important elements: Eating, sleeping and toileting No mention of a shower? I love the doorway into the cab of the van, another advantage of finding free overnight accommodation, the appearance of a work van. The teal shade you chose with white walls is lovely and gives a light, airy ambience. The curtains need to be up up and away from your stove for safety. I was also going to suggest Reflectix for the windows, especially in the cab/front to keep the heat and cold out. Beautiful job! You have a real opportunity for a lucrative business at your fingertips, and a flair for colour, beauty and design. Good Luck. 🤗

Great build, can't wait to see more videos detailing the build. I have the same type of van. Mine is a 2015 Ford Transit 210 Cargo Van Medium High Roof 148 inch wheel base. I am Canadian and must be prepared for cold weather, so I love the idea of the insulated dividing wall. My van has a 120 volt outlet between the two front seats. The van has two AGM batteries and an inverter, under the driver's seat. I've had an isolator switch installed to help ensure I don't drain the starter battery. I haven't used a ton of power so far anyway, just a couple of lights for an hour or two at the most every day. I have portable solar panels that keep everything charged up. This was a simple temporary solution for my first spring, summer and fall in the van. I haven't been travelling much for the last 4 months as I am working at a resort. I am having a solar system installed in October and will then buy a fridge and so on. Are your van batteries under your driver's seat? Does the divider wall limit access to the batteries? I've subscribed and look forward to following more of your videos! Great job! ~ Heather
