Great job! We finished our DIY Transit van build three years ago and we are so happy with it. If I could go back in time, I probably would add a rooftop air conditioner, but the vast majority of the time we never need air-conditioning. It’s fun to have your van build documented on TH-cam, even if only for yourself. I know years down the road I will like going back and looking at what we did. Plus, sometimes people ask me questions and I have to go back to our TH-cam series to see how I did something! 😊
Im wanting to do this myself. Just recently got rated for disability through the VA and ive cut back to make time for medical appointments. I plan to slowly work my way into something like this so I can eventually take some time to travel. Wanted to do it with my best friend/dog but sadly he passed recently, we did get to do one good trip together out to the badlands/black hills area in SD. I wanna do more of that and honor his memory. Thanks for sharing your build, makes me feel like if i just set my mind to it it could be achievable.
Brilliant build, Aaron! Hands down, the most practical and functional transit build I’ve seen yet. Still waiting on you to drop that surveillance camera setup video. Cheers mate.
OMG you have MY van! LOL Well, the way I want to design mine anyway, except I have a medium roof. I have been standing in that thing wondering how in the heck am I gonna fit everything I need in this little space?? I'm actually building it to live in full time. At 67 I cannot afford to live in my own apartment so this is how I am gonna manage life. THANK YOU for sharing...now, where did I put my tape measure again???
@@JackofAllMasterofNone well, that aint bad at all. I am going to look for your build. I wish I knew how to do all the video cameras and flood light hookups. And wifi (if needed) and I'm old school and would be the type to put a batwing tv antenna on the roof.
awesome build, great job. I was wondering if you had room for more solar on the roof in front of the AC? I saw on Amazon those BougeRV Yuma Flexible Solar Panels and wonder if those would work better for aerodynamics on the roof in that area. And as for the funnel, I just take the dishes out of the sink first. lol
Great work! Your DIY = professional! Question, what is the interior dimensions of the shower / toilet compartment, and is the shower pan an off the shelf product? Thank you!
Great build and thanks for the detailed videos. They are really helping me through my build process. What security cameras are those? I checked through the links and playlist of videos but did not find it. Sorry if I am over looking it.
@@JackofAllMasterofNone ..great build. Are those cutouts cold in winters, near your head and feet? (since it looks uninsulated? or less insulated?). What would you say is the sleep across length? I'm 5ft-11in. Thanks.. will go through your build videos. I can't seem to find a built out Transit van that is perfect for my wishes, but yours is close.. and maybe I should just build it myself. I just feel like it will take too long. Thanks again.
Model number for what? In my opinion, the dually is only good if you really need the extra weight capacity but on the flip side actually tracks worse in poor weather and you have less space for the build with the much larger instructions into the floor on each side.
@@JackofAllMasterofNone. Thank you for the dually answer The ford Stock number like F2024-192 Of the one you ordered but didn’t want to wait for delivery And thanks again
It's a stock Transit rear seat. If you search my other videos You will see how I installed it. I bolted the track through the frame of the van. It doesn't affect insurance at all. Not sure what you mean by that part?
Great job! Did you build this van for yourself, or for selling? If for selling, what's the price for the van? And, what's the weight of the interior after the van was finished?
This is a beautiful build. If you consider selling it within the next two years please contact me. I might just follow your videos and build my own but I know it’s a crazy amount of work.

the van is looking great - good work
Impressive. Your fit/finish and attention to detail is noticed. Very much appreciate you documenting this on TH-cam.
Much appreciated!
Work of art. So much thought, and then precision in the execution. Admirable.
Thank you
Wow! you did that in 3 months. It's taken me 2 years to get my small transit connect sorted. Still working on it.
Well done.
Best of luck!
This is one of the coolest van builds I have ever seen. And I’ve seen thousands of van tours. Fantastic job!!
Wow, thank you!

Very nice build. Can you give me an idea of what is the build cost roughly excluding the van?

What camera brand n monitor did u install? Where r u located? I would love to have ability to monitor all sides of d van remotely❤

Might be room for more solar for sure. But 400watts is sufficient for anything we do so I went with it.
Love the build! Which sewer hose storage compartment you used in this build?
Great work! Your DIY = professional! Question, what is the interior dimensions of the shower / toilet compartment, and is the shower pan an off the shelf product? Thank you!
Oh, one more question (for now! … as I’m looking at the same van) - do you get the after market rear windows from Ford? Approx cost? Thank you again!
No the windows are from Van Windows Direct.
Armbands, water... MEDS!
Great build! Where is the funnel plumbed to? Lol
Grey water tank
Do you have build out specs and dimensions you are willing to share? (like bathroom dimensions and how far back from 1st pillar/front seats)
Sorry I don't have the exact specs. Planned it all in my head as I went. Now that info is forgetten
Details on the seat? Please and thank you.
Stock rear Transit seat

Hi one of the best rv i ever since...how much all power system costs pls?
It's all in the description.
Would you consider making one just like it for someone else? ie me?
Is the extended length?
Yes
A buddy had a funnel in detached garage,years ago,lol.
I saw one at the end of a bar in Guanajuato, Mexico. I guess in the old days women weren't at the bar so it was traditional. Surprising now.
What was the ford model number that you tried to buy?
Also what is your opinion of the ford transit dually Thanks
Model number for what?

The ford Stock number like
F2024-192
Of the one you ordered but didn’t want to wait for delivery
And thanks again
I'm not seeing a reference for purchasing the shower. Thanks.
What's the brand of 3rd seat you installed? How did you install it? How does it work with your car insurance?
It's a stock Transit rear seat. If you search my other videos You will see how I installed it. I bolted the track through the frame of the van. It doesn't affect insurance at all. Not sure what you mean by that part?
Do you do builds for customers? I like this setup
I do not. Sorry. Thanks for the compliment
At first I thought "Hey, doing this myself wouldn't be too bad...". Then I kept watching and went "Yeah....maybe not....".
Not gonna lie. It's a lot of work and will test your marriage 😂
Great job! Did you build this van for yourself, or for selling? If for selling, what's the price for the van? And, what's the weight of the interior after the van was finished?
We build it for ourself It is not for sale
Can someone explain the funnel to me?
To pee in.
How much did this conversion build cost?

Looks fantastic! Thanks for the reply.
Do u hire out???

Thank you! I’m not sure what the future holds, but we will keep you in mind.
Anyone here can help me build my van and I will pay him ?
