OMG Lyla is growing up so fast 😭 It literally feels like she was born yesterday and now boom Daughters grow up so fast 🥹 This reminds me of my niece 😭❤️
The way to save the beetroot sauce is to season and grill the beetroot first. Also increase the time for grilling garlic until it becomes brown and buttery. Lastly, season it well with salt and emulsify it with pasta water

I think with the blueberry-chocolate clusters the middle isn't supposed to be frozen, it doesn't look like it in the tiktok (I think that's also why you couldn't break them with the middle frozen like that) Also the chocolate is mixed with some amount of coconut oil or something, because it looks way more liquid and easier to dip the clusters in, probably resulting in a thinner coat of chocolate. I would make the clusters, freeze them, then dip them and then put them in the fridge for a while before eating them. That way the chocolate will still be hard and the middle will have softened.
i’m ukrainian which means i eat lots of beets and just feel like i should warn anyone who wants to try the beet pasta. it WILL turn your poop red. so no, you’re not dying. it’s just the beets😂
I really love that you use things you already have in your kitchen, like lime instead of lemon or cashew instead of peanuts. And that you try to save the dishes whenever they taste bad. Also, really love your energy and enjoy your videos! ❤
With the berry clusters, the coconut oil in the chocolate basically makes it magic shell. I think the creator likely let it thaw some, as the chocolate will stay hard at room temperature. That's my guess
Tina, you have no idea how much I appreciate you and your videos. I'm going through a lot of grief after losing my mom 1yr ago. You mom-vibes are so healing to me. You motivate me to keep eating when I cant get myself to do any sort of basics to look after myself. Thank you.
The only one I tried was the green goddess salad and dressing and its for sure best as a dip with chips and it needs way more seasonings than the recipe calls for (I added avocado, jalapeño more garlic and salt and pepper). Also, unless you're gonna eat the entire (massive) salad, just mix what you're going to eat and store the rest salad and dressing separately in the fridge.
The reason i think zen likes the frozen yoghurt chocolate one is because all the spice she consumes has literally changed the way her tastebuds perceive different flavours. Because she now so tolerant of spice, she is also very tolerant of other strong flavours such as with how sour the yoghurt was. My younger brother is the same. He cannot taste anything now. if it doesn't have chilli flakes on the meal he thinks its bland.
I think the beet sauce might be salvageable by adding more flavour from the beginning, more spices, more of the cheese and maybe one less beet so the proportions are better. I definitely want to try the goddess salad and the apple “donuts”. I love these cooking videos!❤
I loveeeeed this: you should try more healthy recipes. We, tired people who try to eat healthy with a crazy routine really need them actually I tried the goddess salad and it's booooomb. You should definitely try it for summer weather (you can store it in the fridge for 3 days) I also do avocado and jalapeño in the sauce with a bit of the liquid just for a kick or even green pepper. if you want protein I put crispy bacon or diced chicken and hits every spot. hope it helps❤
I love how every time, EVERY TIME they try a tktk recipe where op uses all the ingredients in the world but spices, everyone immediately goes: it's bland, lacks flavor *pours garlic powder*
P.S. The beetroot sauce could have been even better if you had added some pasta water. It would have made the texture smoother and creamier. Keep up the great cooking!
Hi Tina! I tried the blueberry chocolate cluster and I have to agree with Zen, its a double thumb for me!! Its the perfect summer afternoon snack, I'm planning to make strawberry or banana chocolate cluster next 😋🥰
I heated half of the strawberries / blueberries with a very little natural maple syrup. Then I mixed the whole strawberries with it and then the yoghurt and followed the rest of the recipe.
The apple-doughnuts remind me of how in the UK for bonfire night, we'll coat apples in chocolate or toffee! These apple-doughnuts look more appealing though haha
Thank you Rob, my skin would truly not know what to do without you. Sorry I've been missing the live streams, just got alot on. Lots of love and can't wait for the moisturiser deal, please do a jelly clean one . I wish you luck xxxx
15:26 in the recipe they make magic shell which is coconut or some kind of oil emulsified into chocolate. It makes a very thin chocolate that instantly hardens. I saw someone already suggested maybe adding some vanilla or maybe lemon or orange zest. Give it a little zaz. All these recipes looked good but, that pasta I dont think I would try and I like beet.
Oh, Tina, I was quite surprised when hearing you spoke Vietnamese omg. I have followed you for a long time, I cannot remember but it was before you had Lila and I already knew that your mother is Vietnamese but I don't think that you still use Vietnamese to communicate with your daughter. I don't know why but I felt very happy when I knew that. Hope you and your family have a good day, my girl.
With chocolate recipes maybe you wanna try milk chocolate instead of dark chocolate as it contains less percentage of cocoa in it so hopefully won’t be too hard to crack open out of freezer. Also can be cheating a bit by adding some melted butter into melting chocolate to make smoother sauce as well as help it less solid when they come out of the freezer. Hope that helps. Love your content as always. Keep well. Churrs ❤
Since you didn’t necessarily like the blueberry yogurt one you should try the mango version, I cut up mangos and add it to vanilla yogurt, add coconut flakes, freeze, and then coat with white chocolate, however I recommend just covering the top bc it can be overly sweet if you coat the entire thing in chocolate
I worked at a chocolate store before so tried to add a little more coconut oil to the chocolate, from your video it looks like it needs to be a little more runny, so it should be able to run streak when you lift up your spoon but still leave from trade steak mark on top xD I hope you give it another try with other fruits like strawberries dip in choco xD
The beetroot sauce just needs some richness, like a little browned butter. And something like sambal or chili garlic sauce to give it a kick. And ginger. And much more garlic.
i saw a different version of the blueberry clusters where they used mixed berries and mashed them up, plus added honey with the yogurt. i think that’d be better so the patties are thinner to break
Hi Tina 🤗 I wonder if the beetroot sauce would taste better if you add a bit of lemon juice ahah I figured it might perk up the taste, like taste fresh 😋 or maybe add a dash of dried chili flakes on top too 😆
i love how you speak a bit of vietnamese to lyla!! ❤❤❤ it sounds so good and i'm sure it'll help her pick up a bit of vietnamese as she gets older. and your "last one last one last one" sounds SO singaporean!!
I dont know if you did this but if you roll your lime on the counter with pressure with your hands & arms before you cut the lime you get way more juice from the fruit than cutting & squeezing alone! Just roll the lime around until you feel it soften up. This works with all citrus.
the last one is basically like candied apples... the first one is the one I'm definitely willing to try! If I can get my hands on some nutritional yeast
Tina: adding more seasoning to the first dish. Me: Just AdD mOrE NutRItiOnaL YeAstS XDD I'm da yeasts girl, love em, add them to every savoury thing. Also, yeasts + garlic = the best combo! Tina, Zen I love you both! Alfred and Lila in the background so cute! Wish you all the most pleasant time! Thank you for the video!

yes that would be a much better way!
I noticed this straight away as well. I was like ummm “why bake”? 🤣
Also maybe add some vanilla extract to the yogurt?
Tina should make cooking videos every week also you should try the blueberry clusters with fruit roll up instead chocolate
Put honey also
Fruit roll -ups ? really? that sounds disgusting to me

haha garlic powder saves 90% of the dishes
@@tina_yongabsolutely trueeee factssss
those ingredients weren’t necessarily salty, sour or sweet or savery. They’re just herbal neutral spices with nutrients
I love love love hearing you speak Vietnamese. ❤️ I think it's soo pretty.

Your sis-in-law is so bubbly and so cute😊 love y'all's relationship
I love this series of her trying tik tok recipes. WE WANT MORE
The beet pasta can have aess strong beet taste if you buy pre cooked beets. Those are soft and velvet like and wil make a creamy sausje. Sooo yummy!!
Tina never fails to make us smile❤❤
Love that you speak Vietnamese to you child.

Hey Tina i think you should cook the beet and use it like that for pink pasta recipe. Greetings from Turkey☺️ 6:20
The tako yaki recipe was so fun to see! Would love to see you try more East Asian TikTok recipes especially Vietnamese ones!
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from watching these videos is that Tina will always somehow add garlic powder to here meals😂
Time sure flies fast I've been watching her before pregnancy during announcement her birth giving video and the baby is already growing omgg ☹️💗💗
Lyla and Tina twining. Garlic powder is her Holy grail
With the chocolate frozen yoghurt, the consistency of her yoghurt was pretty soft, so I'd say she let them defrost a bit before that reveal.
Can’t wait to see Lyla give her thumbs up some day! 👍🏼
The first one is pretty healthy would love to try ☺️
Never end this series
I love the healthy journey. So fun.
I love these videos!! Love you so much❤

I can definitely taste the difference between lemon and lime. Maybe you would like the green goddess better with lemon. Love your cooking videos!
for the clusters i used strawberry flavored chobani yogurt and it tastes sm better!

Lila said "I'll try it bc I'm not rude but, I won't indulge you anymore than that" 😂
My fave videos you do on your channel Tina :))) 👏👏👏👏👏
To make the pink paste better, you need to boil the beetroot, it becomes soft and juicy and acquires more taste

I'll have to try this. I definitely will not add salt but I might add an extra garlic clove to the green salad. I may try the apple doughnuts.

with the yoghurt clusters, it may also be because the clusters are too small as others on tiktok are typically quite large
Add korean’s yellow pickle radish too. It’s soo good!!
if you coat tofu with some oil and then coat it in nutritional yeast and sesame seeds and pan fry or I guess air fry. Its so good!
