Hi Tina! Part of the problem with the mochi donuts is that you didn’t use mochiko, which is made from sweet rice. You used warabi mochi powder, which is bracken (like a fern) starch. Warabi mochi is more jelly like and dissolves easily when you eat it. I love it, but it’s definitely not like regular mochi. Glad it kinda worked out anyway! 🎉
If you want to bring your strawberries to sweetness, slice them, put them in a bowl, sprinkle with sugar, mix it up (gently), cover, and stick it in the fridge for about an hour. It pulls the juice and sweetness out, so you can taste it :)
I love your little family ❤ and your channel feels like home. Ive been here for a long time and i will always be. Home feels safe.❤ I'm glad to see you smile and enjoy. Always be happy Tina.
The strawberries looks so pretty! With the pastry, you already have all the ingredients so I highly recommend making puertorrican quesitos! If you add guava paste they’re out of this world yummy
I feel like your personality has been coming out so much more in recent videos. Maybe it has to do with Layla’s age/having a kid but I love seeing you guys just having fun! Definitely thumbing the video 😉 hope you guys are well Tina and fam ❤ Edit: your outfit is SOO stinking cute! Love the dress and the little bows.
I've been a follower since the lip tattoo videos and I must say, you are one of my favorite TH-camrs of all time. I love that you post both beauty and food content, I always watch your videos when I eat. I also did learn how to do my own makeup from your tutorials. As a clueless teen in high school at the time, they helped so much! Thank you for doing what you do.
10:10 it happens because you only use starch flour with room temperature water😅 But you accidentally corrected that by adding all purpose flour😁 Your cooking chaos videos never fail to entertain me😄
I just had mochi donuts this weekend when I went out of town, they were so good and there’s absolutely no way I’ll find them where I live, so I’m happy they were featured here, going to make me some!
Hey Tina, the phenomenon you saw when the mixture was both liquid and solid is called a non-newtonian fluid. Its very fun to play with. I think that happened because you added tapioca powder, corn starch also creates the same effect. It is based on force, more force will make it solid like and less force like when you leave the ball in you hand will make it liquid. you can actually make science things in a kitchen video since you like doing fun content. I remember you microscopy video was a big hit. Love your content.
Hi! Love your cooking videos! Idk about the mochi donut recipe, but whenever you have less of any ingredient, you could adjust the ratios of the other ingredients to maintain the proportions 😊😅
Wow you guys absolutely killed the desserts omg they look so adorable! The censored mochi cake 🤣 You look too cute!! I'm a big fan of the black bows. And discount codes lol Much love!
I absolutely love eating the kiwi skin which my mum thought was absolutely weird, but she found out on the Internet that the Kiwi skin is actually really good for you and holds a lot of good nutrients and stuff so now she doesn’t think I’m so crazy 😅😂
New subscriber; your day in life of a mom video sucked me in. Much more realistic than most. My favorite is the red top and skirt. The last top was in all primary colors, at the model’s were definitely not primary colors.
Love love love love these food videos, you always make me laugh, loved the sandwich looked amazing strawberry was a little two big, but still looked beautiful. I think the sandwich is the one I will try as I don't think I can get the ingredients for the other's. More food videos pleassssssseeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! Lots of love to you all and Lyla and Nana 💖💙💖💖💖🎉🍾🥂🎀🎀XXXXXXXXXXXXX
To answer your question I eat my kiwis with the peels on. They're perfectly edible so I just decided it wasn't worth peeling them but if you have a really severe allergy to poison oak or poison ivy (I can't remember which one) don't eat the kiwi peels
Funny you should ask... I was just finishing my green kiwi with the skin on. Yes, I eat the skin, both I and dad do!! Is this a coincidence or what?! hahahaha Strawberry danish just needed a sprinkle of brown sugar on the strawberries before baking I think that would have done the trick for me. Also if you dusted more that would have also increased the aweetness or added a little syrup/honey! Honey is my way to go when my kitchen experiments aren't sweet enough, it always saves the day for me! The mochi doughnut proves my theory that if you don't have precise expectations you can experiment with desserts and still end up with something delicious!! Thanks for recording that on tape
You accidentally made a non Newtonian fluid.
That's exactly what I thought 😆
I was just going to say that hahaha
Childhood memories unlocked!
Oobleck! So much fun ❤
Came here just to say that. Lol

But she did you Mochiko, she just didn't have enough.
@@carveylover no if you pause it at 8:12 youll see it says warabi mochi powder on the bottom right of the bag
If Tina opened a beauty bar and cafe, it would be the cutest place on earth. I'd move countries to visit all the time.
You made Oobleck- a non Newtonian fluid! Its very fun to play with. You generally have to add more flour or cornstarch to fix the consistency! 🤭
I rarely comment on videos but I URGE you to keep making these food videos. I am ADDICTED and love to watch them when I am eating my lunch or dinner!
Thank you so much!!
Me too😂✌️
