    Haha- I knew I’d find an angel food cake on your channel 😁 I wanted something for fruit and custard…. And figured angel food was perfect because no wasted eggs ❤️ thank you ma’am, you’re my go-to for desserts!

    Sam, THANK YOU for emphasizing how important it is to get the egg whites beaten to the correct consistency; and then demoing the correct stiffness. You are awesome. I love your recipes and explanations of why you do things a certain way.

    A trick I use is adding the cream of tarter to the sugar and that way no clumps.

    I’ve been meaning to try this recipe especially now I’ve been getting a thrill out of making meringues.
    Since I bought my first KitchenAid, I’ve been reserving the job of whisking meringues for my stand mixer because the stand mixer makes the job a lot quicker and convenient!

    I’ve never been more excited for a recipe. It is my absolute favorite cake as well. I’ve never looked for a recipe though and I was wondering if you’d have one when I was making the eclairs. Added bonus, I have everything I need to make it.

    Can you use store bought egg whites in a carton?

      I don’t recommend it as they typically don’t whip well. 😔

      I wished I would have known this. My cake batter is so water down. I’m thinking is due to egg whites (box liquid). Ugh 😩. Well you live and you learn.

    Can I add strawberry extract?

      That could work. You won't have the traditional angel food flavor and if the extract is tinted it will change the color of your cake. :)

    what happens if you use a different pan?
