My husband loves Angel Food cake and I make one every year for his birthday in March. I've made my cake recipe so many times for events and parties, I don't even need to look the recipe up anymore. I will say my proud moment is when my mother in law gave me her mom's angel food cake pan. It was a passing of a torch so to speak :)
I remember my mom and I for my 5th birthday made a angel cake together I loved it it wasn’t fancy like this but we did it in a heart shaped pan because my birthday is valentines I love my mother
My mom has an empty bottle of Bailey’s specifically to let angel food cakes cool on, the wide bottom of the bottle is enough support for it and the stem of the bottle fits perfectly in the center hole of the pan
