    I think defining the swing plane this way, referencing the target line, is the easiest way for golfers to understand. I use this drill all the time with my students. Great job!!

    So I have tried this drill at practice range. I just imagined the laser line, slow swings to start then gradually increased speed to full swing. Noticeable difference and starting to cure the straight pull left. Thanks

    Enjoying your videos, David. My recurring issue is pulling my irons left of my target. The ball flight is straight, but the direction is 10 to 20 yards left of my target line.

      That’s an interesting one I’ve a had a few requests for this same issue so I will definitely aim to do a video on it 👌

    Hi David, great visual video. My problem is from top of backswing throwing arms and therefore shoulder out toward ball and "over the top" with pulls (divots point to left). Have tried all sort of fixes but for me it's a natural move and most difficult to correct especially on full swings. Regards from Chicago area.

    Thanks for the nice Video. My struggles are less club head speed and an early release.

    I’m looking for a drill to get my weight forward and down into my lead heel. At impact with irons I’m pushed up on my lead toes and weight obviously on trail leg from there

    Hi David. Yet another easily understood and simple drill. Well done and thanks. As fast as ideas for future content I have a few suggestions for you to consider. I am sure there are many seasoned golfers like myself who are in the golden years of life and are cursed with slowing speeds and annoying physical aliments that may restrict how we would like to move as in days gone by. Any coaching, drill and exercise to help your seasoned audience? Another idea is have live lessons with students that shows potential areas of improvement and skills development\drills. Lastly how about from time time you playing some golf against opponents.....mix some entertainment with some commentary on game\course management. There....a long wish list. Cheers!

      @dlgolftips  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Graeme thank you for the comment. Some great suggestions, thank you. Definitely will get a video made for as you say the seasoned golfer. Also definitely plan to get some footage of lessons I teach, problem is where I teach isn’t great for this but will sort it. And yes getting some challenges on the course is definitely on the agenda just need to find someone willing to challenge me 🤣

    Great tip. The problem with it is watching it at 0530 makes me want to get up and practice straight away. As I’m not a ninja and don’t have a stealth mode, it might just annoy the wife if I did. I’m like a few other followers on here naturally lead with the arms and have a divot(when I have one) going left with a slight slice. Think it’s my hips not getting through first. Any advice would be great. Keep up the good work.

    • @dlgolftips
      @dlgolftips  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Paddy. The wrist hinge etc is completely taken care of as you do the drill in order to get the ‘light’ to point on the baseline the wrists have to work in accordance. As far as the hands go at takeaway they should be over the toes, halfway back (lead arm parallel) through the right bicep then at the top just over the right shoulder then the same positions on the downswing. Will definitely get a video done on this for you 👌

      @@dlgolftips awesome will practice that for sure. On days I’m stripping it, I have no clue at time how or why it’s happening. Secondly, I feel like my back problems might become a thing of the past with this way of thinking. 🤷‍♂️ 😊

    Never feel like i fully swing club always feels like i only half swing with Irons. Afraid of lossing control i guess but prone still to hitting ground first

    • @dlgolftips
      @dlgolftips  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Would you say with the shorter swing you still hit it far enough to play the course? Often times a find people search for the big long swing but it isn’t always necessary. Yes the ground first is going to be at the forefront of a lot of my videos, as I teach on a daily basis this is the biggest problem I see.

    • @brianosborne984
      @brianosborne984 ปีที่แล้ว
