      That’s awesome 👏 a country I’ve never been to but it’s on the bucket list. I teach a few guys from Australia online. Thanks for watching

    Stephen, I reached out to you a few days ago. This is Randy in south Florida. I am a 70 yr old male who recently took up golf. I have spent the last few days watching your videos. My childhood was spent training in gymnastics. Your recommendation learning by reverse engineering is off the charts. I am a life long gym rat who is Ace certified in strength training. Your teaching style and common sense approach is a 10 plus. I wish I could spend a week with you.

      Hey Randy thanks for the comment. Hope you’re well. I’d absolutely love a week in Florida lol. Really glad you are enjoying my teaching style, I’ve researched a lot about how humans learn then apply it to golf. Find it works really well. ⛳️

    Great Information! The majority of golfers should work on matching body, arms, and club motion throughout the swing. That match of motion will give them a better sequence and allow them to control the club face and ultimately the golf ball! Keep up the good work with your videos!!

    Nice video and very helpful information. I'm trying to learn how to play, and this one video has made me finally understand what is going wrong. Going to try this tomorrow at the driving range. You have earned a new subscriber here for sure. Keep up the great work!

    I just found your channel and really enjoying the content. I am 59 and have always had a problem swinging down hard with my arms from the top. Im getting better, but still a struggle. When do you fire your arms through the ball?

      Welcome to the channel thanks so much and I’m glad you’re enjoying it. Hopefully some of my videos can help you play better or understand things a little better. It’s hard to describe when the arms should fire in a message but I do touch on this in the video below (I’ll attach a link for you) let me know if you’ve any questions ⛳️

    These drills helped me flush the ball at the range today! Could you explain what changes between short irons to long irons? I found it was easier to hit short irons but i had more tendency to chunk the ground with long irons. Does the swing plane become flatter with long irons? Is this something i should be mindful of during the takeaway or just with the setup to the ball? Do you have any videos on this or woods?

      Hey Chris thanks for the comment. Nothing really changes with the longer irons and the drill should really only be done with a 7 iron and then it will transfer to the other clubs over time. The swing plane does become a little bit flatter as the club gets longer but thats due to the setup, the spine being a little more upright with a longer club and more leaned forward with a shorter club. I do aim to get out on the course soon and down some more content of drivers and fairways.

    I kinda think the backswing is all subjective. And rotation is all about transition

    • @dlgolftips
      @dlgolftips  ปีที่แล้ว

      100% I agree it’s a massive part of the puzzle and I’ll do videos about that. But what I see a lot on a daily basis is golfers with decent transitions that have to stall their pivot in an attempt to get the clubface to square up

    If you unfold your trail arm and wrist hinge early not only is there no purpose in rotating you literally cant. Its weird. I mean you can do that fake finish thing but its useless. Got to hold those angles. Turn through it and use side bend to get to it.

    • @dlgolftips
      @dlgolftips  ปีที่แล้ว

      100% it’s a move I see so often when teaching. It can be hard to fix. You’re exactly right, keep the angle in the right arm which allows you to stay in side bend 👍 and turn and burn 🔥 A lot of the time golfers physically can’t because the club face is open which I aim to cover in future videos ⛳️
