Thanks team, Yep we are having a great time, we do have a lot of slow days not doing much in the caravan, but these kinds of places sure are our favourite.
Wow, you've really captured the beauty of the Glenorchy area so well! I want to go now! Am heading to Dunedin in the camper in Jan so am now tempted to travel that bit further and do all the stuff you guys have done. Thanks so much for your inspiration and for guiding us to all the best spots. Have a very Merry Crimbo all of you!
thanks so much... I'd highly recommend heading to this area, it really is incredible... Check the weather forecast if it's good I'd totally go... Merry Christmas.
Great videos thankyou. The water in that river looked beautiful, and when I saw the snow capped mountains it came from I thought it might be a bit cool.
Thanks a lot mate, appreciate the comment. We are def living the good life being full time on the road, been a great journey and adventure. Camera work is all off a Go pro lol... Keep it simple.
14 months?!?!! so crazy! this is my favorite episode to date,, you guys are freekin awesome ,, you guys r the best thanks for all the vids this year, cant wait for your adventures in 2024!!!! cheers leopards!
Wow, wow, wow. Yes, we've been to many of these spots but not Kinloch. We did stop for a photo on the Dart River bridge where the TV series "One Lane Bridge" was filmed. I'm looking forward to your Lake Pukaki stop (we've stayed there before) but it never gets old :)
Oh cool, yes we loved it at Pukaki def worth venturing further up the road to get the good views and peace and quiet. One lane bridge, I might need to look that show up. Merry Christmas.
Well done guys we love your story telling and seeing what our awesome country has to offer. We have just watched 2hrs of your videos with the kids. Keep up the great work! 😊
oh wow guys, thats a marathon effort right there... We do life in a beautiful country... amazing how all these videos have stacked up into hour's worth of footage.
It does look awesome, some beautiful roads to drive! Those lupins are so beautiful, hopefully they don't eradicate them. Loved the underwater gopro shots. Weather events certainly makes it all interesting- Merry Christmas guys ❤
Cheers mate I'm sure your the first comment which I love... this place is spectacular, I reckon winter might be worth a crack.. weather is pretty changeable up there aye... merry Christmas looking forward to seeing 👀 your guys summer adventures soon.
Brilliant video Mike and wow what a stunning spot. Awesome to catch up with you guys last night. Hopefully Marlborough can turn on the great weather for you again.
Cheers Garth, good to catch up. We're hoping for some sunny days as well, get out in the water... Saw a few Paua around today at Kaikoura, Saw a Crayfish as well, just round those rocks. Hope you had a good day yesterday.
The scenery takes your breath away, so beautiful down there for sure. Being from the North Island and spending time traveling around the South Island how would you rate each island out of 10 as far as scenery goes?
Hey Tom and Linda, we have had a good Christmas, lots of swimming at the beach, and eating yum food (way to much of it) Glad you all had a good Christmas with the family.
Beautiful place to be, hubby and I can't wait until we get our caravan and head there unfortunately we have to wait a few more months, thanks for sharing
Thanks Mike, Sophie and family - another great video! I will add Kinloch to my travel plans for next year. Merry Christmas to you all and I look forward to sharing your adventures next year as I hit the road full-time myself. PS: I agree with the comment about the music and am pleased that you fade it to speak - too many vloggers leave it up, distracting the viewer. Cheers.
Thanks so much for watching. My friend who has worked on movies for a living told me, the most important thing is the Audio, if people can't hear they will click off... it's more important to hear than to see... Merry Christmas.
Yea come back for sure, you only hit some of the high lights on your voyage, plenty of awesome places off the beaten path, that aren't so touristy yet.
Wow the Travelling Team Leopard’s, instant subscribe, Kia Ora from Rotorua, Happy New Year to all the Leopard’s ❤🎉 wow I love this video, Good work Mike, Sophie and your gorgeous tamariki❤️🥰😍
@@leopardsgowild Ae it’s me and I’m still at Tiaki, I love that place, you are doing amazing adventures, I love it all, and your children are little giants now, I’m so happy to know you all are doing this as a family 😍❤️🥰 much love to everyone ❤️❤️
yea it really is an amazing spot. I wonder if you get some nice clear days in winter, or if it's fogged in most of the time... could be pretty stunning seeing it covered in snow.
Yum... No Pad thai this Christmas or Turkey... But we have Lamb, Ham, Seafood Salad, Pasta Salad, Veges, fruit, Cheeses, crackers, dip, cooked breakfast, pancakes, bacon, hashbrowns, eggs... YUM
Hey m8. Quick question if that's OK. You inspired me to get a drone 😊 what are good sources for rules? Seems like a lot of burocracy around this but not sure if that's enforced.
@@michaelzwiener1756 there are so many rules. I have a DJI mini 2 it has built in restrictions it won't take off if you're in a no fly area. I check signage when in an area if there are signs saying no drones then I don't fly. I pretty much only like to fly mine when we are the only people around.
Beautiful scenery again you’re such an interesting and informative story teller and your shots are amazing as always. Tell me where do you get your music from 😊 it always matches so well !!
Awwww thanks so much. the Music is from MUSICBED... which is a licensing page for youtube and other video places... it costs about $400 a year to have access to the songs, but you can search from their website for free, you just might have copyright issues if you try to use with out paying on TH-cam... Glad you enjoyed this space with us, it's an incredible spot... Merry Christmas.
no not yet luckily... I jump onto google maps if we are going somewhere a bit sketchy and check out the road, turning etc... The road into this spot, if we continued pass the camp ground there is no where to turn around until you reach the Greenstone station which is 12km away and 4 small river crossings, which would have been an interesting adventure with the caravan.
Yes we are so lucky to live in this magnificent country.Whern i waas a child ,i was told that my siblings and i were to inherit the south island by birthright of Whakapapa,of course that was stolen from us in 1991 when the then government gave the country to themselves via a lie called tahu.,still we are lucky tobe alive and live here.
Thanks for sharing again! I’m so jealous - you guys are doing a great job exploring NZ and having fun! Good on yas!
