I was in Blenheim and I saw you drive past me and by the time I realised it was you it was too late to call out, but I’m now kicking myself! My 7yo daughter and I watch every episode together, thanks for the inspiration
Oh thats so cool mate. Well we will be back your way in a few days if Blenheim is home, keep an eye on our facebook or Instagram stories and you can come say hey... We cross back to the North Island soon
What an amazing childhood your kids are having! The drone and underwater footage is awesome, and so is your choice of music. I like your family birthday tradition of choosing the day's meals. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
thanks we have some great adventures, always help when the conditions are right, and we get a spot so good we can do everything from our campsite... Thanks for watching.
Went there last week (Robin Hood)Thanks to guys like you putting this stuff on the internet all the dishonest paua poachers now know where to go.. 🙄🙄95 % Of those paua you just showed were gone (good on ya mate)!!!
Not even because this videos only been up a day, so they can't be gone yet, plus I saw a video from a guy showing the same thing 2 years ago, hes had way more views I don't think it's a secret. Especially cause I did a video here a year ago... mate plenty of videos online about diving, all over NZ nothing special here
ha ha cheers team, Toby the only one crazy enough... I didn't even know he was in the thick of it, I knew he was watching, but boom there he is scooping them up lol
Another great video. Thanks so much. Enjoyed watching kids really having a ball. What an amazing experience they are having and everlasting memories. Belated birthday wishes and good to see you having a wonderful birthday. Travel safe. 🌞🤗🌞
Great video guys. You have to remember 50% of Canadians love PAUA Those kids are crazy. I'd freak out with my kids jumping like that. But I guess I used to do it. happy birthday mike
Port Underwood the drive is spectacular not a great deal of point trying to go quick you miss too much . Easy to forget hustle and bustle of cities . Thanks for rebooting my memory.
It's great fun, and lovely slow paced life, we love not having to be out of the house in the morning to start a busy day... We do live in a great country for exploring around.
happy bday ,mike!!!!! youre a great dad and a awesome dude!!! you and soph have given your kids something that will be with them forever!!!! great episode! beautiful as always! awesome place to jump off rocks!!!!! hope all is well out there in Neverland!!!! cheers Leopards!!!!!!!!
Thanks Cam, kids have been getting higher and higher up on the rocks the last couple of weeks causing me stress as they risk life and limb for the thrills, can't be any worse than surfing on a frozen lake though... See ya soon bro.
What an awesome summer you’re having although I seem to remember last summer was pretty great for you guys last year too. Looking forward to seeing where you go in 2024 :)
Yea been a fantastic summer so far, except for this current cold patch oh man it's chilly today... Last summer was great once we hit the south Island we were in the summerless North till Mid January. hopefully when we come to the North Island soon, the summer sun is shining on us.
Awesome video the Bridsons and the Leopards!!! I love this beautiful country we live in, I love all the adventures you are all having together, and a big Rā Whānau to you Mike, you truly are eating like kings and queens, the children look so grown up! Sophie and Jen and Jamie must definitely be enjoying summer together!! Arohanui from me❤️
Thank you Teresa, we really enjoyed our time with them, so glad we had good weather with the Bridsons, makes such a difference when your spending loads of time outside.
Hey mate big question we've got a video way back of how we planned it all, you might need to go back a couple of years I think it's called how we plan to pay for full time travel... I'm thinking out a video with my ideas for how anyone could do it, we've talked to a lot of people on the rd and everyone does it different... but you need to make a plan, make dome sacrifices, set a date... for us it took 3 years to get on the road
hey mate, was an epic day, always nice having a birthday with the sun shining and being at the beach aye... Music is all off a subscription i pay for called musicbed, anyone can jump on there and find the music, I generally use folk as my Genre.
Nice shot at the end at Pinders Pond. What an awesome summer trip with friends, we would have liked Robin Hood Bay to have been those conditions when we were there. It looked far more inviting. Loved the rock jumping and building dams
Yea it's great spot alright, thanks for coming over to say hey, nice meeting people that watch and especially comment. Cheers mate, hope the rest of your trip went well, and hope the training for Tarawera is going well.
I love this spot we will be returning one day soon, once again thanks for sharing your journey with your awesome family, nothing like teaching your children how to survive
@@leopardsgowild Picton , Had a net in Port underwood today , 8 Moki 3 Blue Cod , 2 Snapper & a quick dive for 2 crays & a few paua , Nice & sheltered from the S Easter
Another great vid mate .I live in Nelson iam now going to camp at White's Bay when it's not so busy look's great for a quick weekend camp .There are no hot shower's aye?
Its a great spot alright, I'd say it would be pretty easy to get in there now. You can book this site on line, it does get used pretty often by the locals who tow out for the weekend.
Popped out for a day trip without the caravan beautiful area alright quite a difficult spot to access with a large caravan. First takaka hill then the hill over to totaranui
@@leopardsgowild Yeah we watched a few people take it very easy over the hill in big caravans and campers before. But heck yeah, it's definitely worth the visit and for staying over and the massive golden beach for swimming and some awesome bush walks.
Well sometimes we like to sunbath in our bikinis which is nice. we only eat when we can get free food, was hard to get the rice, but we found a rice field and helpped ourselves.
Yea it was awesome to see somewhere this far North that you could still get a really good feed without having to go miles out to sea, which I would never do... Great spot.
I was in Blenheim and I saw you drive past me and by the time I realised it was you it was too late to call out, but I’m now kicking myself! My 7yo daughter and I watch every episode together, thanks for the inspiration

We did this drive in our camper van no power steering hahaha sore arms
It's an adventure on its own heading out that rd, I think i spent half the time crossing the centre line so I didn't hit the bank with the caravan
Went there last week (Robin Hood)Thanks to guys like you putting this stuff on the internet

yea it's always hard to get to the places on your door step aye... Seems easier to get to the spots 2 - 5 hours away lol/
Awesome video again
Thanks mate, this is up there as one of the best, for the activities, the scenery is great, but can't compete with the seafood.

@leopardsgowild I do too. Getting a new Aussie caravan next month and just checking my Hilux is going to do the job. 2wd that can 4wd if needed.
Always eating you lot! And always activities - do you ever just sit around and do nothing?
Well sometimes we like to sunbath in our bikinis which is nice. we only eat when we can get free food, was hard to get the rice, but we found a rice field and helpped ourselves.
