Fun fact... Roys Peak toilet was put there to stop contamination from tourists walking the track( historical issues that got quite bad!) so now everyone can enjoy the magnificent views and challenging climb to one of New Zealands most beautiful spots. Well done to you both!
I climbed up Roy’s Peak as a 17 year old in May 1983. I was lucky enough to stay with relatives that lived nearby. Back then It was much quieter as it wasn’t well known worldwide.
Loving the NZ series, you guys are ticking off so much. Roy’s Peak didn’t do that when I was in Wanaka ( I feel for you Charlotte cos I knew it was hard- but Corey you got the content took us to the top & wow it really is spectacular- but come on all of NZ is beautiful) Take me back for another road trip.
Thanks for showing the hike to Roy's Peak, not sure I will be ready for it in November when I get there but WOW that view is astonishing! Will have to be a game time decision to see if I can do it or not, been training for it here in Ohio but we don't have any mountains even close to that!
..most land sales were'willing seller, willing buyer at whatever was the agreed price, where were you brainwashed? Have you ever read anything more substantial than the Turf Digest in your life?
Cory climbs a mountain for hours. Then runs the last 1.3km straight up to the top. Absolute legend
marry him
I watched your this vlog till the end , quite beautiful place , actually I am learning Australian english accent through your vlogs 😍😎

Oh wonderful! It looks like it’s helped the pollution issue 😅 thanks for sharing and thanks for your support Kirsten 🥰
We had been to Wanaka about 12 years ago, but now I realise we have to visit again, as there is so much more to see. Great overview!
Thanks Rob, glad we gave you a good boost of motivation! 😁

Wow, thanks for sharing Bill. I bet it was wildly different back then! I bet the track was a lot narrower too

Aww thanks Lisa 🥰🥰 it was an incredible view at the top. What part of NZ are you in?
Worth the effort for those views .. stunning. Well done Cory for jogging to the top 👏
Hey Tracy! Thanks, it was a stop start kind of a jog but I managed to get there in under 20 minutes 😁

Nice place.
How long does take to get to the picnic table spot at Roys Peak? Thinking of bringing our parents there for a quick walk for that lookout.
It took about 45 mins - 1 hour to get there from the car park. It’s all uphill though 😊
Great work CJs❤
Thanks for the love punter ❤️🙏🏼❤️
Well done
Thanks!
The lens compression is stunnin in your B-roll
iPhone 15 Pro Max ✨✨
I live in Wānaka
is there a guard rail around the Roys Peak Summit?
There’s no guard rail up there 🙈 in classic NZ style, there’s a sign up there that says “be careful of the cliff” 🤣
Lived there for 3 years. Never seen the lake that low.
Oh really!? I wonder if it was from natural causes....
The toilet got put up there as sometimes its an hour wait to get to the front of the photo queue
No wayyyy!!!! 🤯🤣
My half sister's mum runs Mt iorn everyday in record time
It seems like a very popular locals exercise spot! 🤩 good on her!!
Where’s your Polaroid from Roy’s peak?

Fun Fact , beware treaty propaganda - most land deals in NZ were willing-seller willing-buyer at whatever was the agreed price at the time.
Most land was confiscated by govt & sold to the public. Where did you learn your “fun facts”?
