It's amazing that people think childhood friends don't occasionally get into fights or don't really know how to confess thier feelings for each other. I get that some of you have bad experiences with this kind of situation but the fact is confessing to your friend or even childhood friends is something that you can't take back. So if one has feelings for the other but the other doesn't really acknowledge or show signs of being interested it can be hard to confess. And if they don't return those feelings that can ruin a really good friendship. For the story
1. He left her with there after being told by the others that he basically is hindering her. What if something happened to her by those kids?? Not all kids are as innocent as they used to be.
2. Yes she said some hurtful things but if you have been friends forever you should be able to handle that kinda thing by now. After all it wasn't like she constantly told him these things, this at most was her trying to tell him "make me your girlfriend so they'll leave me alone".
3. Yes she said stay away from me, but if he had listened for half a second he would realize that it wasn't what she wanted.

Eventhough tsundere is mostly overexaggerated personality, it's never easy to be honest in front of people you like. Everyone have anxiety and this is the most common issue among teenagers in front of their crush.
Though it's normal for friend to be rude against each other at times. We fight, we make up just like any regular friends/couples. Female mc is right about MC being a no self esteem coward.
