Actually, I think that Noa was flattered at first that she was the center of attention, but then things got out of hand and that she was tired of people treating her like she was an object or a prize rather than as an actual human being with feelings and emotions in her life, hence her plan to get Keiichi into being her fake boyfriend, and, if that is indeed the case, then she honestly did right in asking for his help in getting those other boys to leave her alone.

This story is really good. We have a FMC with a good development. She started being selfish and prideful like other FMCs of same "category" but she starts to approach MC by the right way. And the good part: she wasn't jealous when saw the MC in the library with another girl.
"The jealous" of story was the popular guy and like other stories, his word is more truly than the MC for some reason. (This judgement is really dangerous,guys. NEVER acuse anyone without proves because you can to make a terrible injustice with an innocent and when you realized it, it's too late)
The FMC is smart enough to get who Popular Guy started all the rumors but she needed to confirm that. In the end, she saves the MC and he started to like her. Everything happened naturally here.

Keiichi and Noa getting together eventually was good but being in high school is tough, especially if there are rumours spread about you that are obviously fake/incorrect. People easily believe them as fact. It can happen in most situations.
That doesn't just apply to high school. For example, a single mother moves to a new home after running away from her abusive husband. The local housewives may start gossiping about her behind her back, making all kinds of assumptions about her and her situation.
If that's the case, I would rather condemn everyone that spread the rumor rather forgive them since they don't even know if it's true or not.

High school is tough enough to begin with, but when rumors and innuendo, such as what Kaiichi went through, start to go around, it can be totally devastating...especially if a nickname gets added, which almost happened if not for Noa. Things did work out, and she fell for him in a very big way.
For once I want to see romcom with this setup but Instead of MC caving in the end he continues to ignore her and finds a different girl who is not popular and understands him.

Hiro now being ostracized in his new school, distanced himself from people. Some of the male students, started bullying him. But Hiro is saved by a beautiful nerdy girl with glasses. It turns out, she filmed the pretty girl and her group of friends, planning that penalty game of falsely confessing to Hiro. She was also able to film pretty girl's plan of spreading false rumor of Hiro. She broadcasted this to the entire school to see. Now pretty girl and her friends, now have ruined reputations. Turns out, beautiful nerdy girl used to be bullied by pretty girl and her friends, and shifted their target on Hiro. So she wanted revenge on her bullies. Also, nerdy beautiful girl fell in love with Hiro. Hiro is grateful for being saved by beautiful nerdy girl. So when beautiful nerdy girl asked him out, he accepted. Hiro decided to see Noa and Keiichi, so he can apologize for spreading that false rumor. Hiro is now spending time, with beautiful nerdy girl.

this brings me back to my high school days, their was a very cute transfer student that transferred to my school and all of the guys were all over her except me, i wasn't interested in girls at the time because i love motorcycles and the idea of machines.
Anyway she for some reason set targets on me and would constantly come over to talk to me despite having 99% of the male population in our classroom all over her, i would just casually talk to her but nothing else, her friends told her that i wasn't interested in her so she tried even harder but i was resilient to the point we graduated high school, saw her profile earlier and she has a kid now and me? well i got a girlfriend and a nice ass bike and we go long rides together.

Wow this was a nice story Keiichi rejects Noa due to her only using him as a fake boyfriend to scare off other guys from asking her out, after he rejects her, Noa pride is damaged so she tries to win him over but to no luck, then Hiro enters the picture thinking since he is the most handsome guy he wants to be with Noa the popular girl since they would make a great match together so he asks her out but she rejects him and he gets jealous that he sees her looking at keiichi so he has mika spread rumors that keiichi is a stalker but thankfully he is saved by noa who helps get rid of those rumors and she falls for him for real and they become a couple, I like Noa's development in this story.
Everything else aside.. Sato should write off every single one of those fake friendships with the people who had zero faith in him.

Ah yes the popular girl being confessed and simped by all the boys except the Mc. She realizes this and confess to him. She wasn’t interested in him and her pride was hurt because in her mind she’s probably never been rejected and and Keiichi was the only guy that didn’t show interest in her. I think that’s the reason why Keiichi rejected Noa’ confession. Even though he rejected her Noa saved him form Hiro and Mila who tried to ruin His reputation. It’s crazy how realistic this story was to a certain extent.sometimes those rumors can never be cleared no matter how hard you try.
At the end, i would not have accepted her confession that easily, from what I could get, after the rumor incident, they've been friends for a week or so, I would have needed a month to even think about accepting it.

If these love stories are only vaguely inspired by realize Is real life scenarios then I could tell it's completely Fake but That's how relationships don't form it seems like you keep on showing. 1 step 5th step 12 sdap.
