4x Original Ford GT40 Racing Hard! Epic V8 Sound! - Spa Six Hours 2024

Over the last couple years I have seen a handful of original GT40's but was never able to get a good video of any. Knowing the Spa Six Hours was coming up, traditionally dominated by GT40's, I researched if there were any original cars taking part. When I found out there would be (at least) 4, I decided to travel to the race to finally get a proper video on this absolute icon. Don't get me wrong, I adore the continuation models and tool room copies by the likes of Superformance and Gelscoe but nothing beats the appreciation I feel for the original cars. Hence why I focused on them for this video (although the occasional continuation model will wander into the shot of course).
The 4 original cars (haven't been able to identify more but please correct me if I missed one):
No.7: GT40P/1070, '65, driven by Meins, Lillingston Price and Huff
No.36: GT40P/1025, '66, driven by Lynn, Lynn and Haddon
No.98: GT40P/1109, driven by Ford CEO Jim Farley and Van de Poele
No.194: GT/111, a 1 of 4 prototype GT40 Roadster, driven by Macedo Silva and Monroy
Massive respect to the drivers for taking on the Spa Six Hours in these cars worth many millions.
