You are welcome! Is it true that the Ford GT40s are actually real cars and not replicas? I didn't think that many were built originally. Also your GT40 is peculiar, don't think I've ever seen a roadster version before, it looks really nice. Thanks for putting on a good show, the cars look and sound amazing 👍
@@MotorsportMeister yes, they are real, you can have some continuations, but mostly are real. Mine is a prototype, there where 11 built, but all where scrapped, or they where supposed to. Mine was a barn find, it was supposed to be destroyed but the scrapyard kept it 😅 Now there are only 2 survivors that I know of. Mine and another one in America.
Well I'm glad yours wasn't scrapped and that you are now racing it. I'm always happy to see cars being raced properly and not just sitting in a museum. I'm amazed that the GT40s are real, I had always assumed they were replicas due to their assumedly huge value and rarity. That is so cool. Thanks for the info.
Amazing, it's wonderful to see such machines still racing. Hopefully the German laws regarding racing old cars don't get expanded and adopted by other countries. @@jpms1
Great video, produced very quickly. I loved the cheeky overtaking by the Von Wedel Lotus Elan (1600cc) over the GT40 (4700cc and a new replica sports prototype), on the Raidillon @1:25.
@@MotorsportMeister agree, the sausage shop under Eu Rouge was so busy, I think it was very poorly organized in terms of food and drinks. I miss the old hut😢
Thanks for the video and the thumbnail! I’m the one on the green gt40 roadster, 194

wow amazing, how was it running in a cabriolet all the time as it was raining from time to time?
Great vidéo !! At 1.19 Fabulous Lotus Elan passing exterior the GT40 in drift🤣
Yes, that was an epic moment.

Thanks! Yes, the #24 turquoise Elan is my favourite. Great driving all race, I love it.
Great video!!😃 you made it and posted it very quickly. I was there and always enjoy seeing what I missed while getting a nice hot dog😄
Thanks! 🤣 EBRT are an institution at Spa, the old hut had more style though.
i missed the whole 66-.85 Formula1 race while waiting for my Pita Kebab :O incredibly slow as there were only 2 people working :(

@@phreeze83Yeah very poorly organized with the food and drinks I think.
Poster of the thumbnail, please. 30" x 20" will be fine.
Would you look and listen at that. ❤
Very slippery, u picked the right spot to film.
What a joke this event
Ever been there?
@@JoostKmovies yes
explain why?
@@phreeze83 to little cars , no diversion.
It's almost a Ford GT40 race only.... :(
The field is still good but yes, it feels like some variety goes missing every year. The GT40s are awesome though.
