Many people have said that the elf Poreless Putty Primer is a dupe for the Tula. After seeing so many posts saying that, I recently got the elf version (only $10 USD) and have been loving what it does for my 67 y.o. textured face.
I would say that it’s not a dupe, but gives you a smooth canvas also. I would never wear the putty by itself, but I do wear the Tula on its own.

Years ago when it first came out everyone said Elf was a dupe for Tatcha. They looked nearly identical, down to the containers both being in shallow pans with screw top lids. I've never heard Tula and Elf comparisons but after watching Wayne I'm eager to find out 😊

Last video I saw ages ago, he was using Tretinoin.
He also said there was something going on with his camera that made things look more flawless, don't know if that is still the case

@@kristalynn8017 it’s not just a cosmetic, it’s skincare, plus you use less product as there are no fillers. The ingredients are high quality and you will see better results. I’m just saying, I’d rather spend more money on 1 product than buying 2-3 to do the same job 🙂

I bought a serum from Tula and got a few more of their products as a gift with purchase. Everything I've tried from them has been really nice. Ive been wanting to check out their sunscreen when my current one runs out.
What foundation are you using on top sir?
I love this primer! I wear sunrise and wear it alone on those days I don't want to wear foundation.
I couldn’t find this at Sephora and found it at Ulta where it says it’s only available, so in the US apparently this is only sold at Ulta
There are two types of this primer, one is illuminating the other is moisturizing.
That’s why it wasn’t sparkly on you.

I LOVE a tinted primer! I used to use the Maybelline tinted Blur Stick. I would just prime and powder. I got so many compliments on how great my SKIN looked. I loved it so much! Trying to find a replacement since they don't make it anymore. I might try this product.

If you Google the Maybelline product there should be a discount store like Ollie's that buys what the company has left then the discount store will sell it and when you do find it, HOARD IT like gold bars. Suave stopped making my favorite body wash that also smelled like the vintage Herbal Essences shampoo and I bought all 57 bottles the store had. Called the HQ and they found another store and hour from us had 89 bottles and I went and bought all of them. We sell on eBay and everywhere else so just to test the waters I put one bottle of it on eBay, 50$. Sold in 5 minutes. So that's why I say if you see any, HOARD!
@@whatsthechannelnamex I have seen it for sale on eBay and other sites. But Maybelline stopped selling it so many years ago . . . I don't want to put old product on my face. Soap or shampoo may be different.

I’ve really come to appreciate the good results from the few Tula products I’ve purchased. In the US we can find them in our Ulta stores.

Wayne, did you put a liquid or powder foundation over the primer? Also, how have you gotten so much "sun" on your face? I ask because i have yet to find a face sunless tanner that will actually create color on my face!!! You look fab!

Can you recommend a nice slippery primer for dry sensitive skin?
Is this primer any good for mature skin , I'm 61 and don't tend to wear foundations as they tend to make me look even older, please help lovely Wayne watchers out there 😊😊
I would try a BB cream - apply with a beauty blender - after applying this type of primer (the one from Biotherm is very hydrating, I'm 44 with dry skin and I love hydrating products).
I use Tula face wash and her pumpkin 🎃 enzyme exfoliate. I like her products. I have oily skin and large pores and when I used her blurring primer I didn’t see much difference on me but I think 🤔 I’ll try it again.

I love Tula!
You have some areas just below your lower eye skin with no pores and where your face skin starts pores and texture changes. I have the same issue with how shine in products amplifies this change in skin under the eye to cheek. I wonder if you could show us how to address this issue. I’m not pointing this out to be picky or to bring anyone down about their looks because I have the same issue.

I love your videos but I wish you listed all the products you are applying. I'm 53 and only now learning how to do my make-up differently. I have been doing my makeup the same way I did in my younger years. I am trying to figure it ALL out. The makeup and tools and application methods. Everything is so expensive that I need to know what works with what so I'm not spending tons of money on makeup etc that doesn't work together or work at all for me. Is that liquid foundation or powder foundation? I need to use liquid foundation. Will it work with a liquid foundation?
Anytime I use a primer, my foundation just streaks over my skin and I don’t understand why. I would love to have this type of result.
The formula of your foundation may not play well with the primer formula, and also consider how you prep your skin for makeup, the products you use may repell each other. I find that if I do more skincare I get better results from a primer by spot treating with concealer and using powder foundation instead and then setting with a mist.
I heard this as well. Your primer and foundation should both be oil based or water based? I think is what I remember hearing. Otherwise they won’t work together

I heard it doesn't matter if your foundation is oil based or water based, but that most people put too much primer on/ don't let the primer dry before going in with foundation

Its true. Not used anything else. I was in the sun about 6 hours ... and I tan very quickly! its fading now but I'm still tanned :)
Why do I feel as if I have this primer and never used it. You know you have to much skin products when you have quality products that you never try to find out how good it is!
