Hi i know this video was filmed a while ago but question, in your makeup routine would you put on a primer for blurring pores before a hydrating primer(like MILK OR ELF PRIMER GRIP) for the makeup to stick? When I use pore filling primers alone my makeup turns out patchy and cracked. What order does it go?
@@chilijordan8524 Hi, thank you for your comment and that’s a great question. What I find works best for me is applying the hydrating (or skin enhancer or glowy primer) BEFORE the blurring primer. I would also recommend you only apply the blurring primer in those areas where you see a concern (as opposed to all over the face) so that you don’t remove the glow you were getting from the hydrating primer. Hope that helps!
Hello! My favorite moisturizer for dry skin is Tatcha The Dewy Skin. It's a bit pricey but worth every penny. For a glowy hydrating primer, I would recommend the one from Laneige. It hydrates and extends the wear of your makeup. Hope that helps!
Hi Rachel, absolutely! I don’t put on foundation without first applying a pore filling primer. Sometimes I add some type of glowy or skin enhancing primer and then apply the pore filler only in those areas where my pores are more pronounced. I don’t apply it all over the face, although you certainly can if you have texture you want to smooth out. Hope that helps! And thanks for taking the time to comment!
Hi thanks for your comment. I remember trying one of them a while back and I don’t think it worked for me. I no longer have it in my collection so I can’t confirm that. lol. But I remember when that’s all everyone could talk about when they came out. I do love Elf though, especially their prices 😉
This is the video I was looking for !! Thank you so much. It's very helpful.
Hi there! I'm so happy you found my video to be helpful. I love hearing trhat!
Have you tried the tarte timeless smoothing primer? It’s in a pot, it’s been around for a long time and people swear by it, still.
Hi there! No I have not tried that one. I’m at work right now )I work at Sephora) so I’ll go check it out. Thanks for the comment!

Are you actually using these on your face where visible pores are going to be the issue?

You should try elf’s liquid and normal putty primers
