One of the best things I did with my nuclear plant was wire up the water extractors in batches. So I can shut down my plants in a central power station either all at once, or in groups of 6 by just turning off their water. No more walking around and flipping switches on the reactors if I want to slow down waste temporarily.
@@NyxHunter I've used it multiple times. It has come in very handy. It was a little bit tedious dragging all those extra power poles and keeping everything segregated correctly so I didn't accidentally wire up the wrong group to the wrong switch, but that can be done lots of ways depending on what works for you.
@@NotMyActualName_ I've already been playing around with using the power switches Something I wish they would add is if one of your factories draws to much power and causes the breaker to trip, then only that factory goes down. Where each switch forms it's own breaker and then your whole system doesn't break. And it give you a indicator on the map what went down. Cause I'd love to just run all my power through the rail line and break off at each factory. That way at a minimum I'd still have my trains available to get around the map and fix things. Now my plan is just having the trains run on a dedicated circuit with backup power via generators and batteries and then run a power line parallel to the rails around the map
@@NyxHunter Power prioritization has been on the community wish list for a long time. Best you can really do is separate your grid out so that certain parts of the world are on separate sections. I swear. Every time I see your world, I get pumped up to make my own world look just as good. Yet I can never retain enough patience or willpower to do anything akin to what you did. Guess I'll be living my fantasies out through your world lol
Still dont know, why you dont use ICS before/after freight station. Single belt into ICS into Station or vice versa, so you dont have the problem with no loading/unloading while the Train is docked. When you dont the method with the ICS you DONT have the throughput you need
It would be nice if the programmable splitter had a power input and you could use a switch to change between two programs: one powered, and one not. If they added that, I'd just want the same for the valves though.
this is what like the tenth time youve had to fix the nuclear setup, every time im just expecting some kind of full blown disaster like with the million nuclear waste incident
Would be nice if they implemented a special train variant that has lead walls lining the cargo containers such that it doesn't eradiate everything around it.
Yea here is me thinking it would be great if besides power lines there are also data lines that can connect valves, relais, and programmable splitters to a computer you can actually use to greater logic systems.

I'm so glad I'm only doing one normal node of uranium. It's taking a long ass time to do all that needs done, but it's not this much. Looks awesome though!😊
Couldn't you set the smart splitters to "overflow" for normal production, and "any" for the meltdown line? That way flipping the power switch on the meltdown line automatically sends the resources there without you having to run all over the place to change settings. Too bad there isn't a logic splitter (and pipe valve) that has one configuration when unpowered and another when provided with power...
Until the next update... your Powerplant has been turned into the typical 40k technology, one remembers how it works, but keeps it running the best they can
Kibitz: "How is the emergency factory? I don't think we have run it before. Maybe as a small task." In the first incident he uses it to get a quarter of a million waste (I think) out of his system and made into non-fizzle uranium.
Should not have closed the episode with “We will not have to worry about power ever again” - you just jinxed yourself. I am going to miss these monthly Nuclear Plant fix videos
KIBS!!!!! Do not one by one turn off reactors what I did is put a pump at the end of each water tube and tied it with a switch that way I can turn off or on if it has water or not when it runs out of water it just simply turns off and stops producing nuclear waste
That cable said 200A at 1000Vdc (11:18), which works out to 200Kw. If your charging at 800Vdc, the cable's amp limit should be about 250A. However, in the video, you're pulling around 104A. I'd say the limit likely comes from a safety system in either the car or the station due to the cold temperatures. Resistance goes down with the temperature and gives cables a higher capacity. However, the reactions in batteries slow down as it gets colder. This means slower charge times and less output capacity. Therefore, I believe either the truck or charger is reducing your charge wattage to minimize potential pressure buildup in the cells. Alternativly, the charger is misconfigured.
I don't know if I just can't find it, or if it hasn't been made... but I wish there were schematics on how to build/replicate specific factory installments like a sort of "how to build" series, because I'm TERRIBLE AT MATH AND ORGANIZATION lol...
Why did you put the heat-sink factory on top next to the bauxite node? In my current playthrough I have the aluminum factory underneath so I don't need to pump up water, I bring the bauxite down to me.
"Now we never have to worry about power again" is a sentence we are going to hear again after the next nuclear power fix
Yah just wait til they add fusion or somesuch
Of course, Kibz had to jinx it xD
