Congratz getting away from Cubendo ;) I never wanted to say anything negative before lol. The convincing "aha" moment for me was when I imported the CB session wavs and loaded the same plugins into REAPER. Cubendo CPU usage: 35%. REAPER CPU usage: 4% 0_o. If I wasn't using REAPER, it would be Logic. It's come a long way since I had to use it back in 2010. Also, Logic has always had some of the best stock plugins and handles midi like a champ - much better than REAPER that's for sure. CLA Mixbuss seems solid and this is a great sounding demo, EV!
Do you use the regular version of the plugin or the Lite version? Do you notice a meaningful sonic difference between the two? Using the regular version kills my CPU andI got a 2020 macbook pro fully specd
When was it that you got more serious with audio in addition to your other musical ventures Euge? Around the time you started making your solo albums? Cool sounding stuff, love the waves' ssl stuff
I’ve always been involved in mixing on the albums I’ve done, sometimes more sometimes less, but never considered to be good enough to do it completely by myself until Covid started and I just started doing it by myself and for the last couple of years it has been one of my main sources of income. I’ve mostly mixed albums / EPs / songs for smaller independent bands but recently I’ve done mixes for bands signed to bigger / major labels so it has been going pretty well 😎. Many bands & labels seems to like my mixes which is obviously good for the business 😊. Thanks!
@@EugeValovirta230V I don't support it because it is unnatural, and dirty. It is a big sin that takes people to eternal hell. I don't hate people, I have family members that are "gay", just want them to love Jesus Christ more than their carnal lusts so they can be saved. BTW I enjoyed your video, first time on the channel. The music and the sound is awesome, sounds pro. Thanks for the review of the CLA Mixhub.
Nice clip Euge! I would really love to get your feedback some on the Audio Assault AA-551... at $9.99 it seems interesting. For someone getting into these, I think it might be a simpler introduction... but I might wrong! lol
Thanks! If it’s an SSL emulation the layout should be pretty much the same: input, filters, eq, dynamics and output - sections. The question is how well it emulates the crunch & mojo of the real desk. In my experience this one and Softube’s one does it amazingly well. The cheaper ones are usually well…cheaper in many ways 😎
Love the MixHub! Song sounds awesome Euge!
Oh thanks man! 🙏🤟
@@EugeValovirta230V finally you learned the hardway to use logic instead of cubase-cakewalk-fruityloops

I’m new to Logic and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that you switch and teach us great guitar lessons using it. 🤷♂️sorry Cubase. You Rock🤘🤘🔥🔥
Thanks man!
