@shubibinman Actually doing the memory commentaries "as we speak." Ha ha. We'll start building the DVD once we get done with review #50 (which should be in the next couple months). Ha ha. Thanks my friend, as always!
surprisingly enough. j.b.Harold did get two more american sequels, one (also released by NEC) of which is related to murder club. the unfortunate part is that they were released on the pioneer laseractive, an incredibly rare system that was had two entirely different models (SEGA/NEC) plus, alot of other non gaming models.
@arkmainable Right. And that stunk since I loved this game. As I said, I truly wish the sequels were released on the actual TurboGrafx. Boo hiss. :) Thanks for watching.
I too, was a shmup/platformer/run'n'gun/rpg fan. But there was just something fun about this game. I would have never normally picked up a game like this, but I'm glad I did (back in the day). I've beaten this game multiple times over the years ( when enough time has gone by that I've forgotten everything in the game). Really wish they had brought out more of them :/
@spida1a you can tell you have some sort of history in TV... because your excellent show feels like I'm watching a show on TV..... except you'll never find quality like this on TV. Thanks for the review, I never knew they had anything like this on the turbo... I only wish I owned a CD attachment.
That was immensely entertaining. I like your cheesy jokes about Kill Bill, and the "murder" at the end. ;) Seems like a cool game, too! If I do ever get a Turbo, I'll have to grab a copy.
Unique game for the system for it's time i feel and while it was a game i was never really interested in when it came out i would not mind trying it out now after watching your great review Chris.
@LarryBundyJr Oh yes, that was one of the fist games I got my CD. I was so excited at the time to get it....ha ha. But, it's definitely not everyone's cup-of-tea. Ha ha.
Hey Chris, did you by any chance get a PC Engine LaserDisc sequel to J.B. Harold? It was only available on the Turbografx-16 PAC on the Pioneer Laseractive (yeah, remember THAT? The $900 Video Game Console-LaserDisc Player?). I recommend it to the likes of you since you like it. I don't think you have either the Laseractive NOR the Turbografx PAC... ...I shouldn't have brought that up shouldn't I?
If you can't locate the USA version, than go for the Japanese version. There is a option to play the game in English, which is complete with English narration as well. I paid $5 for mines.
This game looks interesting. too bad I don't have the luxury of a turbo graphics 16. anyway Great job! I love your "witty" jokes in these vids. keep up the good work!
Good game, i was going to start it again, i did not complete it, first time, but sold my turbo duo and games(which i still regret), there was a better looking sequel, only in japan, for the turbo duo, it may have also come out on pc.
@blinkstock182 If I told you that....I'd have to kill ya'. Muhahahaha!! :) Ha, just playing. I worked a decade in TV / Video and now I live in Manhattan, trying to pursue a "performing" career (plus do freelance video / editing on the side). :)
can someone post the ending to this game? i beat it about 15 yrs ago and just tried to replay it and am stuck about 80% through - great game but frustrating!
@BygJuce85 Thanks my friend. Always great to have you on board!
I never did get this game! that was why I was dying to watch your review!
I really wish I got it back in the day now...
Great Review!!!
8 years later and I am back again!
Yes, indeed. I really enjoyed this one. Thanks for watching.

@cyclo1224 Ha ha. Totally! :)
Thanks for watching.

Nice review!
In 2008, Althi (Riverhill Soft) did a Murder Club remake for the Nintendo DS. (Released in Japan only)
This is why I always liked my Turbografx. The game's were just so edgy back in the day.
@arkmainable Right. And that stunk since I loved this game. As I said, I truly wish the sequels were released on the actual TurboGrafx. Boo hiss. :)

I agree with you...more of the text based adventure games should have been brought over to the states. Great review once again.
this game reminds me of snatcher.
@DynasticHero Thanks a lot. I always liked this game. Still fun. :)

@Wyrdwad Cheesy? Yeah.....that's me pretty much in a nutshell. Ha ha.
Thanks for watching!
Fantastic as always!
Well that is a different one all right! Cool, great review!
Great choice for a review! I've avoided these games on the Turbo, but I just may give them a chance. :)
Oh, and no double dipping on jokes! :P
@lotsofgames I can see where it's not for everyone. And truthfully, I'm surprised I liked it as much as I did. You know? Ha ha. Thanks for watching!

The photo of an eye in the opening is an album cover for The La's. I think this game came out before that album.
@spida1a Ahh understood... enjoying the great city? Thanks for taking time out to post these

Thanks for watching! :)
@blacksixspeed Awesome game. Played the hell out of it on Sega CD. :)
looks great and exactly my thing.
it's a shame i don't have a turbografx :(
i love this game. I like the guy in the car lot. i remember the voices being more clearer?
Looks like an interesting title, another one I've never heard of, nice!
A shame about the low quality of the speech, but luckily they are optional.

Yet another great game i never heard of,thank you Chris, for reviewing such gems.
Hmm...Liberty Town..I wonder if it's a part of Liberty City! Hahah, maybe not but good review!
i'd play this.
Good review, it really is a shame they didn't make more of these - or atleast translate more of them into English.
does anyone know of any walkthroughs of this game?
@blinkstock182 If I told you that....I'd have to kill ya'. Muhahahaha!! :)
Ha, just playing. I worked a decade in TV / Video and now I live in Manhattan, trying to pursue a "performing" career (plus do freelance video / editing on the side). :)
something i noticed that the japanese version voices were more clearer i could be wrong

wellllll man, maybe I'll give this game another chance if you seem to like it so much. But I still say it's no Snatcher lol
Hey bud. I've been watching like all your videos... I've yet to completely figure this out. What do you do for a living??
