    Patella chondromalacia knee pain is one of the many causes to occur in knee joint. Knee pain can occur at any age, knee pain at a younger age can be due to patella chondromalacia. Patella chondromalacia can occur due to many causes, the most common is quadriceps muscle weakness, change in bio-mechanics of the knee, and flat foot. This patella chondromalacia knee pain can be completely cured at home by doing strengthing exercises to your knee. These exercises have to be done every day 3times/day and avoid any strenuous activities.

    Hi Doctor.. im 35 now & im feeling the same issue fr past 3 months.. pain felt during staircase walking & playing cricket... During running it restricts my movement😢..

      Sir you have any difference? I'm suffering from last 1 year 🥺 doctor said you have nothing problem, but i have pain, I don't know how to overcome this... xray, mri scan, blood test everything is normal

    Hello Doctor,Can these exercises be done when there is an acl sprain. Also is walking for 30 minutes advisable with patella chondromalcia and ACL sprain?

    Thank you very much for this video. Along with the strengthening exercises, can we do mild walking also daily? Hope that will not cause any further damage. Also, for Vitamin D, will exposing ourselves to the sunlight (morning 7am to 8am) be helpful?

    Hello Dr. I came to met you in MGM hopital regarding Acl surgery. But unfortunately i had surgery with maridian hopital. Now i have chondromalcia patella. I couldn't able walk due frequently swelling in my knee please Advise Dr.

    I am diagnosed with chondromalacia patella. I don't have pain but knees feel uncomfortable. Is full recovery possible in this.

    Hi sir. I had pain and uncomfortable knee from last 6 months. Visited ortho doctor and diagnosed with chondromalacia patella. I have started strengthening excercises. My doubt is shall i start cycling will this improve my knees or make the DX worse. Your suggestion is much appreciated. Thanks in advance

      Hi ! Continue with strengthening exercises for 4-6weeks and then start cycling.
      Make sure the adjustments in your bicycle is perfect to avoid further injury.

    Sir i have that pain always except when sleep , i cant walk more than 5 minits and i cant stand more than 5 minits so i want know is it appropriate to stand and walk with pain and go to work?

      @@7scopeortho ok sir, broke my left side knee in an accident five years ago and I walked in after six months of treatment,There was no pain or problem for five years after that,and I started having pain last January and i meet a orthapdic surgen and he told to meet a physetheropist after i got 2 or 3 xray and physiotherapy doctor said my knee bond and fructure part now well and And said that the cause of your pain is the weakness of your knee muscle ...... thai is summary of my problem doctor

      Patella chondromalcia is not a serious condition . This can be completely resolved with good knee strengthening exercises.

    I have grade 3-4 chondromalacia, a 10x5 mm cartilage defect in the central part of the patella. I play soccer, I'm thin and very athletic, but I can't play right now because my knee is very unstable with fast movements. When I walk, my knee gets stuck and I often break the joint afterwards. Many exercise I can do without pain and can run easily. but exercises on one leg very painful. The surgeon told me that I probably couldn't play football anymore, but I'm 27 and I can't accept it. Do you think I will ever be able to play football??
