I just bought the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. I am impressed with the battery life. I used to charge my previous watch overnight. Today, my battery was at 60% after a heavy day of usage, and before showering this morning. I charged the battery during my shower and shave. When I checked the watch after getting dressed, it was already at 95%. This is my new routine. I no longer need to charge the watch overnight. Fantastic.

If you compared it to apple watch, it is an upgrade in term of battery life, but 31 hours battery life is still not enough for me, i am hesitate to buy or not.
31hrs? your math is incorrect, based on your result, its more than 2 days, its >48hrs
you already slept twice, then 3rd sleep it died

Makes sense - less features on uses less battery. I had Galaxy Watch 2 and was getting 2 days of battery life as well with moderate features on. "Always on" screen is a true battery hog though.

LOL, my Ticwatch Pro 3 lasts 3+ days in full smart mode (and all auto tracking options turned on, such like SpO2, Heart Rate, all night sleep tracking in Essential mode). Anyway, the testing was very comprehensive, you nailed it, awesome video!

If budget is not a constraint then go for Watch 5 Pro....it comes with additional features and better battery life

You should check out Huawei watches like the GT3 or the GT runner. The battery capacity is about the same as the Samsung Watch 5, but it lasts about 14 days straight.
But it also doesn't have most of the features the galaxy watch does :(
returned my watch4 last year because of the poor battery life, it is ridiculous.

Who would of thought that buying a new Samsung watch for almost $300.00 would have such a pathetic battery life.
These watches have joke levels of battery life. Some people are saying 8 hours. My three year old phone lasts longer than this watch.
Samsung and Apple are known to have shortcomings in terms of battery life compared to other company's watches. Try Amazfit, this offer excellent battery performance.
