The galaxy watch 4 classic actually helped me find out I had sleep apnea where the Apple Watch wasn’t as accurate that’s why I don’t really wear my Apple Watch anymore.
@@hlam7667 when I saw the minimum blood oxygen level was in the 70’s for a continuous period made me make an appointment with my doctor and she ordered a sleep study and in the sleep study my blood oxygen level dipped down in the 70’s in the sleep study too and the results came back that I did in fact have sleep apnea but I wouldn’t have known that without the galaxy watch 4 classic and now I have the 5 pro. Won’t go back to Apple Watch after that.

@@TechisodeTV yes we have got it under control but it's just crazy to me how much more advanced Samsung is with health tracking than Apple. Apple has really gotten lazy with health features.

This was fantastic and so very helpful! I’ve been wanting to change the orientation of the watch for ages due to accidentally hitting the buttons when working out. So many things I have now changed for using my watch better and smarter!
Wowll😲 I gotta spend time watching this. Incredible!!!! First thing I did was change orientation because it makes more sense for me with my action buttons to have the buttons on the inside. Also let's me use fore finger and thump more quickly with action buttons. Plus you don't accidentally press buttons when you bend your wrist.
You really do a great presentation. What do I mean? You speak clearly and in full sentences. You enunciate and speak with a cadence that is easy to follow. You think clearly and present the information in a way that is easily taken in because you aren't jumping around or stuttering or doing ums and ahs and otherwise adding grunts that have to be filtered out. It's like listening to a high quality set of speakers. You find your ears 'reaching' towards the sound instead of tensing. And you, apparently, take care to produce a video that is visibly clear and in audio high quality. The sound is clean, clear and absent annoying noises. I hope you are able to appreciate the value that all that adds. I sure do!

I'm actually surprised that all networks do not offer standalone plans for LTE-equipped smartwatches. Lucky for me I just found that Google Fi offers coverage that is included with even the lowest-priced monthly plan. I'm going to split my service and migrate everything over to Google Fi because Consumer Cellular doesn't offer Android Smartwatch coverage.
it lacks some small things. but they are not worth buying the pro instead of 5. Like the ability to track back routes. Mostly the battery is just better. Features are almost the same.
Great video, I want to point out that you don't need to connect to the same wifi network to have remote text and calls work, I have mine working even when my phone is on data, you simply change the option for calls from wifi only to wifi and mobile data and it will work even if your watch is connected to a different wifi network
Interesting, I tried this and still couldn't make a call. I'll have to try it again. Maybe there was an update that enabled this or maybe it's just not working with the Fold 4 yet. Thanks for letting us know!
I copied this from the Samsung site. It explains that depending on what version you're using it may not work unless both are connected to the same WiFi for calls. I'm pretty disappointed about that. Note: Call & text on other devices currently does not work with Verizon and AT&T phones and may not be available on all models from other carriers Compatibility Note: If your Call & text on other devices version is higher than 3.3.00 these features have changed. In order to make or receive calls, both the tablet and phone must be using the same WiFi network. You can send and receive messages whether or not both parties are on the same WiFi network
Eric, any chance you could do a video on SmartWatch standalone features? (i.e. sending texts and calls on lte version). And possibly go deeper by discussing apps that can be side loaded to add more standalone functionality? Thanks for considering!
Great video! I just got my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and immediately got to know it very well with the help of your video. One thing I couldn't do for some reason is to activate call and text using remote connection as you had explained. I also have non-LTE version ake when I toggle Remote Connection ON, I do not get to see that other toggle to make calls and text. It's just not there. Is there a way to bring it back? maybe something else is not enabled on my watch and/or phone? Both devices are connected to the same home WiFi network. Thank you!

And yeah, a while back, TH-cam made a change where they turned off notifications for all channels and you had to opt back in for notifications by clicking/tapping the bell icon on each channel. You can choose to be subbed with no notifications, personalized notifications, or all notifications.
I've been hoping for the exact same thing haha. The only option in Bixby Routines for the Watch 5 is to change the watch face based on a trigger. That would probably be good for changing the watch face to a sport one when you get the the gym, a business looking one for work, and whatever else you want when you're not at work or at the gym.

I’m surprising my husband with a new phone and the Samsung Galaxy 5 watch. He’s very basic and struggles against electronic progress, so this will be interesting.
