New to Kundalini yoga, I often feel guilty for giving myself time to relax, I suffer from an anxious, worried and over active mind which results in chronic back pain. I’m finding the arm position in breath of fire quite challenging for my neck and shoulders but I’m persevering. I need this and I’m sticking to this interesting and energising practice. I love the chant and find myself singing it around the house.
I tend to learn these subtle things in almost all your classes. That little trick about pointing the heels directly under the sitz bones was genius! Thanks you!
Thank you for doing this this Kundalini yoga series. In a few days I am doing this class my shoulder pains are going slowly away! The most important thing is the energy I get and experiencing my deepest emotions. Just feeling good! 20-30 minutes series are great, especially for beginners. I love Breath of Fire but can't do it for a long time. I know it takes practice and one day I will do Ego Eradicator for whole 3 minutes! Thank you!

Thanks so much! Been having more neck & shoulder pain than my usual norm. Have done kundalini in the past and have a love/HATE relationship. I've had bad results from "pushing through" but willing to give it a try again. Will go back and do the whole week. You make it easier to understand the reasoning behind the exercise & breathing!
I don't know which practice did it, because after this one I did the lazy yoga class and my creative juices are flowing. I've had a writers block for some time, trying to write an announcement for a concert and couldn't get past the first two sentences, after these two classes I wrote it in 5 min. So, thank you

This is really a unique style of yoga. I am a big fan of yours. I've listened to every episode of your podcast at least twice (I miss it) and now have started doing your classes everyday at lunch and I feel amazing. Just just physically but mentally. Wow…. Emotional outburst. About an hour after I finished it felt like I was loosing control. I end up snapping any my daughter. Intense wave of that’s more who I want to be washed over me. I finished my projected not able to hold back tears, apologized to my daughter, then went in my room and cried. Ugly cried. It’s weird how allowing myself space to cry helped. Thank you for taking me on this journey.
I loved this short exercise. I feel so energized and alive. I have grown to really love kundalini - even when I feel frustration. I know that it will pass and I will feel so incredible when I am done. Namaste!
Thank you Brett. I've reached Day 3 and I'm starting to "get it". My first thought this morning was "Ooooh, another voga session". Life changed dramatically for me 18 months ago when I have up my home and career to become a full time carer. My daily practice with you is giving me the energy and resilience to face the day. I love the shoulder and neck movements. On the neck roll, I feel the need to roll my head back as well as across the chest. Coming back from chronic neck and shoulder issues that were a result of previous work practices that required cradling a telephone between head & neck. And then now, we all look down at our cellphones and tablet. I gotta look up.

I love this. I have done yoga off and on for 4-5 years. I recently got back into practicing due to having surgery and being unable to do the more high intensity work outs. I completed your 18 days of yoga and really enjoyed it. Then I moved onto this Kundalini series, I wasnt sure if I was going to be able to get into it, but i fell in love with this type of yoga from your very first video of the series. I began to sweat; mucous came out of my nose and chest; heat rose up my spine - it is beautiful! My sinuses are clear, my forehead doesn't ache, and I feel energized. I think this was a lot easier than the first time around. This time I felt very little pain in my back. My legs did still hurt early on though, and my waist muscles ached a lot. And I'm still having phlegm trouble, though not as badly today. I did notice that I found myself feeling quite in control at the end, so I am feeling a lot clearer than the first time around! Thank you Brett!
I am back home now after several days of travel. I have come to believe that this practice improves my health and overall feeling of well being. I have some sinus issues from traveling cross-country. The kriyas help me to expell so much gunck. I know that is graphic, but I want to share how beneficial kundalini kriyas are for our health. This time my breath was long, deep Sat Nam and this served me well. My inner, deep core muscles are so much stronger now and I can really get in touch with feelings of strength with slow Sat Nam. I envisioned healing breath from my lower triangle saturating my upper shoulders, neck and back of head with healing breath. May 2019 be a year of wonder, enlightenment, and love! Namaste

I have been going through this series after I did the intro to your 40 day Kundalini Kriya which was mind blowing. I have been wanting to join uplifted for over a year now but finances are a struggle. I am very thankful you have so much free yoga available to enable me to practice daily. Core work can definitely be hard on the neck! We tend to use those muscles to "help" the core. Glad this helped!
