    Thanks for doing these Mick, and I’m pleased to hear you mention you are going to do a video for aiming with side spin, something I always struggled with, can pot pretty good but as soon as I use any English I tend to miss a hell of a lot more 🤷‍♂️😢😂🎱🎱🎱🎱🎱

    A little surprised that UK pub tables still have a smaller cue ball, seemingly so it can return when potted, here in Australia the tables I play on have a magnetized cue ball of the same size that the table can ‘let through’ when potted.

    Quality shooting mick. And this style of pool shows you never have to go crazy with ball when screwing back. I remember watching another local guy who I like to watch and learn from years ago. Scott Higins what always seemed to find shots that didn't look possible. It great you and the likes Hendry are sharing there talets now to world. Can't fault you.

    I love a screw shot with side. I can get alot of side with these shots. Sometimes(most of the the time lol) too much. I would probably hit the yellow near mid or hit the gap down to the black. My shots either look amazing or terrible lol

    Again, amazing positional play. I can play the standard screw but I know if I play 8 o clock then likely to over hit it and hit one of the yellows or rattle the cue ball!

    Loving these videos Mick. Just a question what size tip do you have? I think mines around 7.5-7.8mm tip I feel good potting with side spin, back spin etc but because it is so thin I feel like it has to be perfect and then miss some shots and / or out of position. I’m only been playing in comps for a year or so.
    Would you recommend going up tip size wise?

    When you are playing the shot with sidespin, do you have to adjust your aim from when you played it with backspin only? Great video series Mick, thanks.

    explain how get to know the exact position the natural 6'o clock spin takes the white to and how you know the angle the white ball throws to with the different high/low cue ball aiming

    Mick, when putting side on the cue ball how do you position the cue with your back hand so that the cue ball doesnt jump off to the side? That is one thing that i struggle with. Cheers

      Call me silly but the new 8 ball with the black and white stripes is harder to aim. If I need to aim at the slice of the 8 that is near the interface of black/white I find it harder to see the angle

    • @noelmadden1920
      @noelmadden1920 ปีที่แล้ว

      @dnbmania I'm not sure whether it's harder to aim or not but I have no idea why they made the change to the format of the black ball colouring.
