    A intake manifold installation tip. The back bolt , if you put a spring clamp, or clothespin on it. It will hold the bolt in place so you can concentrate on maneuvering the intake manifold into place. I can only use one hand so that helps me a ton. Nice video!

    The lower to mid range rpm torque is the week spot of any DOHC V-6. This high quality intake manifold spacer addresses this issue, without any loss of peak horsepower.       Questions whit this do you really feel the different in low end torque is noticiable,?

      @@FORD150-5.4 yes, the manifold spacer, ported intake manifold, ported 80 mm TB, will add 25 rear wheel hp and 20+ torque. It’s not like adding a Cold Air Intake system, you can definitely feel the difference in the seat, the butte dyno can feel the improvement.

    Would this fit 3.6 pentastar? Looks like the same exact manifold

      Yes, it may be very close, but one made by Chevrolet and other made by Chrysler. So the chances of it working would be slim. you can try to order one though jacfab but ask if it will fit a 3.6 pentastar. Thanks

    Do you need to tune your engine after installation?

      You don't have to. But I will do a tune, just to make sure that it's in the best performance.

    hey man at 19:40, is there supposed to be space between the extendolator and the aluminum piece? when I tighten mines there was no space. did I overtighten?

      @@camaromodschannel ok thanks for letting me know. I thought maybe because I used a ratchet instead of a screwdriver like you did that maybe I overtighten. but good to know I didnt. have a good one.

      @@camaromodschannel yeah previously I tighten it only with a screwdriver and when I installed everything, I turned on the car and it did not start well, was running horribly, sounded like something was inside the manifold. it was bad. so I took it apart, thought I would find something inside the manifold but there wasn't; there was nothing out of the ordinary but I did notice the spacer had space between it and the aluminum piece so this time I tighten it with a ratchet and now had a good seal. however I have not re-installed it because unfortunately when torquing down the first bolt my dang ratchet never clicked(was set to 18 ft lbs) and so the bolt broke. thankfully I was able to remove it though. now I'm just waiting on a new bolt to get here from Jason(JacFab). was rather weird why the car wasnt running right so I'm assuming it was that, a vaccum leak. thank you for your time and thanks for answering my question.

      @@oldblood_eyes When you install a ported intake and spacer, it will take a little time to let the computer to re-adjust for more air I remember going through the same thing. was there something loose in the intake. but it went away after a few minutes. thanks for your question.

    I just installed mines and when I turn my car off it makes a slight air release noise..like such as I have a turbo type noise…is this normal?

      Only if you want more power? Works great with the setup that i have shown.

    After installing my spacer I got two codes p0113 and p2228 any ideas why ?

      Make sure everything is plugged in good, reset the codes and see if they come back. Running ok? Or running bad?

      Connector on the back of the manifold, and the maf connector on the air intake .

      @@camaromodschannel running good. I already cleared the codes and took it for a nice long drive and they didn't come back. It was only showing the codes in the Chevrolet enhanced part of my reader. I think the codes came up because the computer wasn't used to the reading it was getting from the engine. Anyway the codes didn't go back so I'll keep driving and see if they do 😎

    Did you just reuse the flat tip bolts that were on the factory spacer? And do they go into the manifold

      No jacfab sends you longer ones. Original bolts to short. Yes it goes into the manifold. Thanks

      Walnut blasters, but its expensive. Use cleaners for valves and wire brushes for like cleaning guns. Got videos coming on just that subject. Thanks

      He spent months dyno testing the items, you gained some extra horse power, if you want more add nitrous like I did. Wow..

      Better throttle response and airflow going into the heads

      Low end toque, and mid range. Haven't drove it yet. It's not a daily driver. Haven't even tried nitrous yet. Lol

      AUDY PEREZ the gain is 4-6%hp between 2,500-4,500 rpm and 20 pound feet of torque in the 2,500-4,500 rpm. There is zero gain to peak horsepower.

    The right stuff gasket seal 😁 and flex seal on wood gasket instead of JacFab? 😁

      @@camaromodschannel Derlin needs sealer-the right stuff with a gasket underneath.. That is correct sir. The JacFab does not need sealer.

      I could get a wrecked 5gen ss for a little bit more. That would be a better project for the channel. Waiting for the price to drop on the supercharger. Thanks for the advice.

      Daniel Hamilton the way Tracey Lewis company talks about other companies. I refuse to support that with my money. The way they talk, everything that doesn't come from them will destroy your car. Either advice or products are talked about that way by them. That's just my observation, and reaction to it, to each their own.

      @@camaromodschannel Do you know if it matters with the Lewis Derlin spacer to put it on bottom like recommended or can I sandwitch it between like that one in video? I guess I screwed up because getting misfires and rough idle so going to try again. I hope it's not a headgasket or piston rings, or o-rings for injectors.

      @@DanielHamilton382 I don't know what the Lewis Derlin spacer even looks like.(Never heard of it)No you have a vacuum leak. Remove the spacer and reinstall without the spacer and see if it runs correctly. I would get one from Jacfab makes the best one out there. Thanks.

    Such a downer, why not get a v8? It's not like we had the option to begin with, the only thing we can do now is just upgrade with what we already have.

      Getting a SS v8 for the channel this fall, been bidding on a 2013 SS but lost the bid, at 4500. With no motor. when I got this car a TH-cam channel wasn't even thought of. Thanks for watching. Stay tuned SS comming.
