What is the name of the belt sander you used?

here's a link for the belt sander: www.clasohlson.com/fi/Nauhahiomakone-Cocraft-HBD500/40-8831 but if you are planning on buying one I recommend to get it locally because they are all pretty much the same.

At 1:39, what was that bolster you set behind your grinding belt? Is it just wood or something else?

It's birch plywood. It's a great way to modify a cheap belt sander to be able to grind plunge lines, but do not use wood because wood doesn't stay flat. Nowadays I use steel from the same saw blade I made this knife from and I glued some wood on to the steel to make it thick enough.

Could you please put your camera back to auto exposure or even put in better lighting , i know tou wanted more cinematic shots but some of the clips are just too dark to see easily, thanks Eoin

Yeah, I might put it back to auto until I get more lights.

Thanks ,its just a suggestion but i feel it may be more appealing to some viewers to have a brighter video , anyway keep up the good work I'm around your age and i think i will make a channel for knifemaking and woodworking soon
