I told my brother in law after taking the Game of Logging 1&2 we can put away the cables and chains there’s a much better way to log. I was 43 when I took the class and wished I had the class when I was 12. Now I can’t wait for the next class in my area.

Love this video but also the style of "conversation", really fit my world as well. Thank you for building these videos!

It’s just a good thing that trees “grow on trees”. 😅
Speaking of “yabutisms”, I sold car parts for 30yr and the last 20 of those I tried my best to get folks to use the paper catalog AS WELL AS the computer. The folks that I was trying to tell this to were ALWAYS amazed that I could find something that they could not. Moral of my little story: listen to the training, it’s going to make you more (both) money AND loyal customers!

How long are your level 1 and 2 certificates good for?

There is no "expiration" date per say for each level. Some insurance companies and/or logging safety organizations have set up their own time line on how often the classes need to be taken. That is all set on an individual basis.

haha i went to one of those classes when my dad was logging in 90s. some guy in a fancy outfit told a whole bunch of loggers that he was better at their job than they were, and that he could get make them faster, tougher, taller, and better looking!!!!! id say game of logging is a just a bunch of yabuttisms!!!!! you go to the woods and you make it home, and i can say personally i think bore cuts are very dangerous, maybe not so much cutting pine!!! but we cant all cut cream can we
